32-Exile

32-Exile

When I turned around, I saw a bald woman wearing a yellow outfit. She had a serious expression on her face and showed no signs of surprise as she looked at me.

*The Ancient One. Finally revealing herself.*

Turning towards her, I looked into her eyes. The Ancient One waved her hand, and the earth around us transformed into a circular coliseum.

The coliseum had a radius of a hundred meters and was quite vast. The Ancient One walked towards me, producing a magical fan.

"Ancient One… are you going to kill me?" I asked.

Although I didn't show a hint of panic on my face, I was internally quite anxious. If the Ancient One attacked me, I had no chance of winning.

In front of me, a system notification appeared, and I realized how serious the situation was. The Ancient One, with a furrowed brow, asked, "Do you know me?"

"Yes. You are the guardian of this world and a sorceress," I replied without hesitation.

After hearing my words, the Ancient One paused for two seconds, then continued walking towards me. Seeing this, I swung my sword towards her.

A crescent-shaped burst of fire energy rapidly approached her. Just before it hit, the Ancient One raised her hand, creating a shield in front of her.

The collision of the fire energy and the shield caused a explosion, shaking the shield slightly. Seeing this, the furrow on the Ancient One's brow deepened.

"You are more dangerous than I thought," she said.

After uttering these words, she threw the fan in her hand towards me. Like a boomerang, the fan swiftly flew towards me, piercing my chest and causing me to groan in pain.

Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.

When the Ancient One lifted her hand, the fan exited my chest and returned to her hand. Despite the pain in my chest, I resisted and pointed my hand towards the Ancient One.

As I directed my hand towards her, the Ancient One levitated about a meter into the air. Just as I was about to swing my hand downwards, a barrier formed around the Ancient One, preventing me from using telekinesis.

Realizing I couldn't escape the fight here, in this mirror dimension, I said, "You shouldn't have intervened. If you did, the future would change!"

Upon hearing this, the Ancient One smiled.

"Initially, I thought the same. Knowing that if I interfered, the future would change, I researched you in the past and future," she said.

As I listened attentively, she continued speaking.

"The most surprising thing? You are nowhere in the past or the future. In short, you don't belong here," she said and threw the fan towards me again.

The fan flew towards me at a speed I couldn't react to, narrowly missing me. Initially, I thought the fan had missed, but when my left arm was severed and fell to the ground, I realized I was wrong.

"Cursed! AGHH!" I groaned as I pressed my hand against my severed arm.

Meanwhile, the fan dimmed and flew back into the hands of the Ancient One. As the Ancient One approached me, I felt the approach of death. After repositioning my sword on my chest with my right hand, I placed my hand on the ground.

Just a second after placing my hand on the ground, there was a layered magma eruption centered around me.

When the magma eruption reached the Ancient One, she easily overcame it by creating a barrier.

"Are you going to kill me? Aren't you afraid I'll come back?" I said with an angry expression on my face.

"Why should I be afraid?" asked the Ancient One.

Upon hearing this, I finally understood that the Ancient One had fallen into my trap.

"Death is approaching, Ancient One, am I wrong? When I return, you won't be able to protect this world," I said.

"You have many enemies, and among them, some are powerful enough to resurrect me. If I'm not mistaken, someone is seeking an avatar to rule the world," I said. I had a determined expression on my face as I spoke. If I didn't appear confident, the Ancient One might not believe me.

Upon hearing my words, the Ancient One paused. After a few seconds of contemplation, she began to speak.

"Even if I don't kill you, I can prevent you from harming this world," she said and waved her hand.

When the Ancient One waved her hand, a portal opened beneath me. Looking into the portal, I saw space behind it.

"According to my estimates, it will take you thousands of years to return here," said the Ancient One.

"NO!" I shouted as I fell through the portal. The portal closed as soon as I passed through.

"I'll kill you when I return!" I yelled. The portal was closed, and she probably couldn't hear me.

Lifting my head, I examined my surroundings. I was on an asteroid, and there was nothing around me except dark space.

[ Congratulations! you completed the mission and earned a new arrival point

“DC”]

[Time until arrival point activation:2 years]

The first notification brought a big smile to my face, but the second one made that smile quickly disappear.

"Two years? Are you kidding me!"

I was on an asteroid, and there was nothing I could do around me. Now you're telling me to wait here for two years?

As I angrily contemplated these thoughts, I felt pain from my severed arm. First, I decided to heal my arm.

I sat down, focused, and opened my hand. About ten seconds later, flames formed in the air and began to move towards my severed arm, reconstructing it.

This process took about five minutes. I tried opening and closing my left hand to get used to it. My new hand was identical to the old one, so the adjustment period was short.

The asteroid I was on was at most the size of an apartment building, so using telekinesis on this asteroid wouldn't be a problem.

I accelerated the rock using telekinesis. As I sat on the asteroid, it rapidly moved forward.
