28-Hunter Base(2)
I woke up early in the morning and quickly jumped in the shower. After getting out of the shower, I got dressed and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Gwen's school was canceled due to hunters, so she was peacefully sleeping in her room.
It took me half an hour to prepare the meal. After preparing the meal, I woke Gwen up, and we had breakfast together.
After eating, we sat on the couch and watched television. I had nothing to do, and I was waiting for Aaron to call me.
An hour later, my phone rang. When I checked who was calling, I saw that it was Aaron. I answered the phone and told him I would be there in two minutes.
"I'm leaving," I said and left the house.
What I didn't know was that after I left, Gwen quickly returned to her room and climbed out of the window.
At one point, as I entered the street, I used my bracelet and mask on my arm. Then I turned my body into ashes and headed for the warehouse at full speed.
When I arrived at the warehouse, I saw that the leaders of the area and Aaron were testing their powers. John, on the other hand, was staring blankly at the ceiling with glazed eyes.
"I guess he's out of it," I thought, and I walked over to Aaron.
"All gang members can come out of their hiding places and continue their business. While John and I destroy the hunters' bases, you guys should quickly make money and buy shares in Tony Stark's company," I said.
"From Stark Industries? They recently stopped making weapons, so it'll be tough for them to recover," Aaron said.
As soon as I heard his words, I wasted no time in explaining and said, "Just do as I say." Aaron and the area leaders nodded and left the warehouse.
I turned to John and approached him. When I got closer to him, he didn't even lift his head to look at me.
"Definitely spaced out," I said, and I slapped him.
The shock of the slap snapped John out of it and made him look at me in surprise.
"Why did you hit me?" he asked. He still had a shocked expression on his face.
Seeing his expression, I smiled and said, "We're heading to another base, I slapped you to snap you out of shock."
"What shock?" he asked.
Upon hearing this, I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "You should use drugs more sparingly," I said, and I walked toward the door of the warehouse.
John got up from the couch and followed me unsteadily. I sat in the driver's seat of the car outside and drove to the nearest hunter base.

It took us half an hour to reach the hunter base. The hunter base was an old warehouse, much like the previous one but larger.
I summoned Chaos' knives and immediately stormed into the warehouse without waiting. As I passed through a barrier, the scene in front of me changed.
There were fifty people in this hunter base, and I could see ten eagle-like robots flying in the air.
I started spinning Chaos' knives around me. As the knives revolved around me, their chains extended and their speeds increased.
While the knives were spinning, I fueled them with fire. The flames emanating from the knives became so intense that they created a vortex of fire as I spun them.
As I continued to fuel the knives with fire, the vortex grew larger. When the tornado reached about ten meters in size, I moved it toward the inside of the warehouse. Any hunter approaching me was incinerated by the flames and sliced by the knives.
The tornado was so intense that it demolished the warehouse, causing its pieces to fly everywhere. Wherever I went, the tornado destroyed it. It took me about ten minutes to clean the base with John.
Once the hunter base was cleared, I stopped the tornado and went with John to where the equipment was stored. There was a lot of equipment, including shields.
After examining the computer in this base, we learned that there were other bases nearby.
I took out my phone and called Aaron, telling him to come and collect the equipment here.
After we were done here, we went to another nearby hunter base. This base had fifty people, and I estimated it would take us about ten minutes to clear it.
Just as we were about to attack, I saw a hunter among them, wearing a large armor, about 250 centimeters tall and holding a hammer.
"Leave the big one to me," I said, and I attacked them.
Every time I swung Chaos' knives, there were large fire explosions. I cleared a path in front of me with Chaos' knives and charged at the armored hunter, transforming them into fists.
I wanted to have some fun, and if I used Chaos' knives, the guy would die too quickly.
Seeing me running towards him, the armored hunter also ran towards me and swung his hammer.
I pointed my hand at the hammer, and the hammer stopped in mid-air. I took this opportunity and punched the guy in the stomach.
When I punched his stomach, he was sent flying about three meters and fell to the ground. The abdominal part of his heavy armor was slightly dented, but other than that, he hadn't sustained significant damage.
"The armor's defense is incredibly high," I said.
The guy quickly got up and retrieved his hammer from the ground. I looked at him and ran towards him. As I ran towards him, flames erupted in my hands and rapidly spread up to my shoulders.
I jumped and threw a punch at the guy. He tried to block the punch with the handle of his hammer, but I was much stronger than he thought.
When I struck the handle of the hammer, it broke into two pieces. The guy looked at the two broken pieces in astonishment as I jumped over his shoulders and delivered a series of punches to his head.
After three punches to him, the armor on his head shattered and fell to the ground. I jumped over his shoulders and placed my right hand on his back. Flames accumulated in my right hand, and three seconds later, they exploded, shattering his armor and creating a hole with a diameter of 30 centimeters on his back.
After the flames pierced the guy's back, they continued on their path, colliding with a wall that blocked them and causing it to crumble.
When I killed the armored man, John was trying to hold his ground against twenty people. He was clearly taking a beating, but he was holding on well.
I summoned Chaos' knives and threw them towards the enemies.
With a single throw, the knives cleaved ten of them in half and returned to me. I aimed the knives like spears, causing them to impale the men where they stood. I leaped with all my might, grabbing the chains and pulling myself towards the men.
I rapidly advanced and collided with the men, sending them flying. Among the flying men was John.
I transformed Chaos' knives back into whips and extended both of my arms, spraying fire at the men. The flames were scorching hot and easily killed the men.
When we cleared this base, I called Aaron and gave him the location. I walked over to John on the ground and lifted him up by his arm.
"It's going to be a long day," John said. He was right; we had many more hunter bases to clear.
...
By nightfall, we had cleared six hunter bases and acquired a significant amount of weapons and armor. We collected all the plundered equipment in the warehouse.
The location of this warehouse was quite strategic, situated in an area with minimal civilian population in the eastern region.
Arthur was in charge of the eastern region. After finishing our business with the hunters, I decided to instruct him to fortify this warehouse.
Among the plundered equipment, there was also a heavy armor set. I intended to give this armor set to Arthur because it suited his physique better.
After clearing nearby hunter bases, we stumbled upon a larger hunter base. John and I decided to return to the warehouse and prepare for clearing it the next day.
Aaron and a few gang members were carrying the equipment crates and sorting them into categories.
After spending some time in the warehouse, I returned home, took a shower, got dressed, and then went to bed to get some sleep.
