16-Big Offer

***********

Time continued to flow rapidly. Two days had passed since Miles' father's funeral. I felt a bit guilty when I saw Miles crying. Gwen provided support to Miles during this process.

The gang made significant progress and continued to grow exponentially. What surprised me the most was the emergence of another Spider-Man.

He was wearing a black and red costume and was a male. He was working alongside Spider-Woman. Both of them quickly gained fame and became topics on television.

The two Spider-Men slowed down the gang a bit, but they couldn't cause significant damage.

They captured gang members and handed them over to the police, but the police released them two days later.

The first reason was that the police didn't want to get involved with the Skulls gang. The other reason was that the Skulls gang didn't have major crimes.

What we were doing now was just collecting protection money and forcibly buying shops from others.

The police couldn't keep us in jail for a long time for these crimes. Gang members increased and strengthened every day.

We bought and continued to buy most businesses in Brooklyn. If this continued, we could buy 50% of the businesses in Brooklyn within four days.

I woke up in the morning and went to Frank's restaurant as usual. About four hours later, my phone rang.

When I looked at my phone, the caller was Aaron. I answered the call, wondering what he would say.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Boss, a man says he has a big offer for you. Judging by his demeanor and attire, I can tell he's quite wealthy," he said.

"I'll be there in ten minutes," I said and hung up.

After hanging up the phone, I left the restaurant and got into my black Mercedes.

Aaron wasn't one to exaggerate. If he said it was a big offer, then it was.

I wasn't surprised that an offer came; I was surprised it came so early. We were the only gang in Brooklyn, and we were getting stronger. Big offers were inevitable, but I didn't expect them so soon.

Ten minutes later, we arrived at the Skulls gang headquarters. I quickly walked into my office. In my office, a man I didn't know was sitting in one of the chairs in front of my desk, and Aaron was sitting in the other.

I nodded at them and took a seat behind my desk. The man was around fifty years old with graying hair. He was wearing a black suit and looked quite professional.

"I'll get straight to the point," the man said.

"I know you, and I know how powerful you are," he added.

When I heard these words, I nodded. The man smiled when he saw that I showed no surprise.

"I'll do any job as long as the money is good," I said without thinking.

The man's smile grew when he heard my words.

"We're going to kidnap a wealthy businessman. Your job will be to intercept him," he said, waiting for my response.

As I heard the man's words, I drifted into thought. Intercepting someone was easy for me. After some thinking, I came up with something.

"When you say a wealthy businessman, do you mean Tony Stark?" I asked, smiling.

Normal people could handle this mission; they wanted someone as powerful as me because the person to be kidnapped was very important.

Most likely, the man in front of me was a terrorist. In my past life, Tony Stark was kidnapped by terrorists and forced to build a missile. The man in front of me was most likely one of those terrorists.

When the man heard my question, a look of unease crossed his face. It seemed like they would keep the identity of the person they were going to kidnap from me at first.

When the man saw that I didn't show any surprise at his unease, he smiled.

"As I said, do you have enough money for that?" he asked.

When the man finished speaking, I said, "Ten million."

The man looked at me in shock, but when he realized I wasn't joking, he gave in. He reached out his left hand to me and smiled.

I stood up from my chair, shook his outstretched hand, and smiled.

The man explained to me where the convoy would pass and what I needed to do. Except for Tony Stark, I had to kill everyone. Once I intercepted the convoy and killed everyone, my mission would be complete.

This mission was very easy for me. Once I completed the mission, I would receive ten million dollars, which was a significant amount.

While I was thinking about all of this, a system notification appeared in front of me.

———————[Missions]————————

explanation: Great chaos is beginning and you will be in the middle of this chaos.

mission objective: Intercept Tony Stark's convoy and kill everyone except Tony Stark.

Completion Award:20.000 gold

When I saw the system notification, a smile appeared on my face. The reward for the mission was exactly what I needed.

The person who gave me the task had a strange expression on his face when he saw me smile while looking up at the sky.

After bidding me farewell, the man left the Skulls gang headquarters. As he left my office, Aaron turned to me.

"Is he trustworthy, sir?" he asked.

"I don't know, and I don't care. If they dare to deceive me, they'll pay the price," I replied.

Aaron nodded and left my office. Alone in the office, I drifted into thoughts.

Tony Stark would introduce a missile in Afghanistan in two days. After the missile presentation, I would intercept the convoy.

Right now, I had ten thousand gold, and completing the mission would make it thirty thousand. With thirty thousand gold, I could get three super-soldier serums.

I would give these three super-soldier serums to Arthur, Frank, and Aaron. Initially, I wanted to use them myself, but the chances of them having any effect on me were very low.

The super-soldier serum enhanced human DNA. My DNA was that of a god, and the super-soldier serum wouldn't be of much use to me.

Of course, this was just a guess. In any case, I had to wait for two days, and I was already very excited.
