15-You are very unlucky
Time passed quickly, and three days had gone by. During these three days, the only thing I did was go to Frank's restaurant.
During these three days, the gang had fully regrouped and settled in. Now, a gang was running Brooklyn.
After the gang had fully settled, our membership count multiplied. We bought and continued to buy hundreds of businesses.
During these days, the police gave us some trouble because we were acquiring others' shops at a price we dictated.
So far, the police couldn't do anything to us, but now it was time to take action.
The gang had firmly established itself, and the police were not powerful enough to dismantle it. To make the police understand our seriousness, I needed to kill someone, and I had already arranged for that.
Aaron called me to inform that a few policemen were obstructing them while trying to purchase a small restaurant.
I quickly got into a black Mercedes parked outside Frank's restaurant and told the driver to hurry.
The driver sped, and we arrived at the scene in just ten minutes. I put on my mask and activated my bracelet to don my outfit.
As I got out of the car, I saw three policemen and three gang members arguing in front of a small restaurant.
Among the gang members was Aaron. He smiled when he saw me and yelled at the police in front of him.
Seeing this, one of the policemen aimed his gun at Aaron. Aaron stood still but continued to shout at the police.
The police grew frustrated and took out handcuffs from their belts, handcuffing two gang members. One of the police officers approached Aaron with handcuffs in hand, but Aaron turned and dashed down a side street.
"I'll catch you!" the police officer said and chased after Aaron.
Seeing this, I chuckled and walked into the side street. The other two policemen were dealing with the gang members, so they didn't notice me.
The reason I lured the police officer into the side street was that I didn't want bystanders to see me kill a police officer.
There would probably be a security camera in the side street, but getting caught on camera and being in front of a crowd were entirely different things.
I wasn't afraid of getting caught on camera, but killing a police officer in front of a crowd would quickly spread and cause a significant reaction.
When I killed a police officer in front of the camera, people would still find out, but the police wouldn't release the footage, so it wouldn't make much noise.
The police chased Aaron into a dead-end street.
"Nowhere to run," said the police officer, pointing his gun at Aaron.
"Who said I was running?" Aaron replied with a grin.
The police officer clearly grew suspicious but continued pointing his gun at Aaron.
"Good job, Aaron," I said from behind the police officer.
The police officer turned to me in a moment of shock. When the police officer turned to me, I grabbed the gun from his hand.
Seeing me do this, the police officer didn't hesitate and fired the gun. The gun went off with a loud bang, but the scene the police officer expected didn't happen.
Taking the gun from the police officer's hand and tossing it aside, I grabbed the police officer by the throat. He struggled to escape my grip but couldn't.
The police officer had short black hair and was quite muscular, much like Miles.
Despair appeared on the man's face, and I realized that I felt a bit sorry for him.

"You're quite unlucky," I said, and I lifted the man into the air.
The man tried to breathe and struggled, but he couldn't escape my firm grip. When he realized he couldn't get away from me, he stopped struggling and said, "I'm sorry, son."
These were the last words the man said before he died. I dropped the man's body to the ground and looked at Aaron.
"It's time to go," I said.
It seemed that Aaron had snapped out of it with my words. He seemed deeply affected by the death of the police officer, which was quite understandable.
"Either he was going to die, or our gang would be dismantled. You're the assistant leader of this gang; you have to get used to these things," I told him.
It seemed that he couldn't handle the deaths of younger and more innocent people. Maybe the problem wasn't within him, but perhaps it was within me. I'd do anything for my own good.
I had been like this in my past life, and I was like this now, and I would be like this in the future. Aaron and I got into the car and quickly left the scene. The two gang members who were apprehended would be out within a day, so we didn't care about them.
We went to Frank's restaurant and had a meal. Gwen also came and joined us. I introduced her to Aaron and Frank. After eating and chatting for a while, Gwen and I got into the car and got out in front of the house.
"If you keep eating like this, you'll have a big belly," I said.
"No matter how much I eat, I won't have a big belly like yours," she replied, slapping my stomach.
When we entered the house, my father wasn't home. This wasn't the first time, so we didn't wait for him and went to our rooms.
*He must be late due to the police officer's death,* I thought.
After some time on my phone, I fell asleep.

In the meantime, in a dark forest, a man stood gazing at the moon shining above. He had a bear fur draped over his shoulders, and his attire consisted of various animal furs. He stood at an estimated 230 centimeters tall, with long black hair.
Someone emerged from behind him and said, "Boss, we've found a new target," handing the man a tablet.
Taking the tablet, the man looked at the map displayed on the screen. The map had a marking on Brooklyn. When he clicked on Brooklyn, two figures appeared on the screen.
One was a woman in a white costume with a spider motif, and the other wore a gray mask.
"Which one?" the man asked.
"The one with the mask, he's the leader of a major gang, and they call him the god of war," said the person behind him.
Upon hearing these words, the man couldn't help but smile. That alias was quite audacious. He closed the tablet and handed it back to the person behind him.
"Get ready; we're hitting the road," he said.

I woke up to the sun shining in my face through the window and stretched my arms. Getting out of bed, I grabbed my phone to check the time. Seeing that it was still early, I prepared myself and took a refreshing shower before getting dressed and leaving my room.
My dad and Gwen were sitting in front of the television, and it was evident from their faces that something was wrong.
"What happened?" I asked.
Gwen looked at me and said, "Miles's dad was killed on duty yesterday."
I was genuinely surprised to hear this. Miles's dad was a cop, and in this city, there was only one criminal organization, and that was my gang.
The members of the gang wouldn't dare to act without my approval, leaving only two possibilities.
The first possibility was that Miles's dad was killed by amateur criminals.
The other possibility was that Miles's dad was the police officer I had killed yesterday. I prayed for the first possibility to be true.
Seeing me standing in shock and silence, Gwen asked, "Are you okay?"
I nodded my head and asked, "Where's Miles?"
My dad answered this question.
"At the police station, there's security footage of the person who killed his dad. Miles insisted, and I allowed him to watch the recording."
*Damn it.*

Miles(pov)
Today was a terrible day for me. I woke up to my mother crying, and then I received the news that my father had passed away.
My mother was devastated by this news and fell ill. I went to Mr. George to find out what had happened. My dad was just an ordinary cop, his job was patrolling the streets and chasing graffiti kids.
In fact, I still can't believe that my dad is gone. When I heard this news, I was so shocked that I stood still for two minutes and then started crying.
Mr. George told me that a new gang had formed in Brooklyn and that they were running all of Brooklyn. When I asked him why they hadn't arrested the gang, he said they couldn't.
After a long plea, Mr. George agreed to show me the security camera footage.
He told me to stay at the police station, and they would let me watch the recording in an hour.
He had probably been awake all night. His eyes were puffy and he looked exhausted.
An hour later, a police officer took me to a room. In the room, there was a table with a computer on it.
The man started playing a video on the computer and left the room. I began watching the video recording alone.
For five minutes, nothing happened, and then a man entered the frame. My dad followed the man and pointed a gun at him.
It appeared that the camera was also recording the sound in the area. My dad shouted at the man to surrender.
Only ten seconds later, someone approached my dad from behind. My dad turned around in shock, but the man caught the barrel of the gun.
My dad fired without hesitation, but the man's expression didn't change.
The man took the gun, threw it aside, and then grabbed my dad by the throat. No matter how hard my dad tried, he couldn't escape the man's grip.
I was extremely shocked when I saw this scene. My dad was a very strong man; no one on Earth could restrain my dad by grabbing him by the throat, assuming they were a normal person.
Both his physical strength and defense seemed greater than that of a normal person. In this world, there were people with superpowers, and Gwen and I were among them.
While I couldn't control my powers, Gwen told me she was Spider-Woman. My powers were nearly the same as Gwen's, with the only difference being that I could turn invisible and had some control over electricity, although I couldn't control these two powers well.
"You're quite unlucky."
These were the words the man said just before he lifted my dad into the air, making him unable to breathe.
"I'm sorry, my son."
These were the last words my dad said before he died. Tears welled up in my eyes, and my anger grew.
With anger, I punched the table, causing it to shatter. The police officer outside the door entered the room, trying to calm me down.
I had etched the masked man from the video into my mind. No matter what, Gwen and I would catch him.
