When I saw this notification, I immediately started following the red signal. Although Black Noir's death would attract a lot of attention, I couldn't afford to be careless.

The superpowered individuals in this world were quite fragile. So far, among the superheroes I encountered, only Homelander was powerful.

As I followed the red signal, I wondered what the reward for completing this mission would be.

Approximately two hours later, I arrived at a restaurant. The restaurant appeared quite ordinary, which surprised me.

Starlight was inside this restaurant, one of the members of 'The Seven.' I expected the restaurant to be filled with people.

This left me with two options. Either people didn't know that Starlight was here, or she was concealing her identity.

This intrigued me. I examined the faces of everyone around her, making my way toward the restaurant.

As I entered the restaurant, two people caught my attention. These were a girl with a hood and sunglasses and Hughie sitting across from her.

When I examined the girl more closely, I noticed her blonde hair and realized she must be around the same age as Starlight.

Thinking that I had found Starlight, I walked towards the table where they were sitting. When I got close, I shouted, "Hughie."

Hughie turned around upon hearing me and looked at me. His expression quickly changed to one of panic. It seemed that he didn't want to see me right now.

Ignoring his expression, I walked up to them without asking for permission.

As I sat down, I extended my hand to the blonde girl, "Hello, I'm a friend of Hughie, and my name is Derek."

The girl hesitated for a moment, looking from Hughie to my hand, and then reluctantly shook my hand, saying, "Nice to meet you, I'm Annie."

After the handshake, I turned to Hughie and asked, "Where's Butcher?"

"I don't know," Hughie replied without hesitation.

I nodded and continued to survey the restaurant. Apart from the blonde girl next to me, no one else could be Starlight, at least among the people I could see.

I turned to the blonde girl and asked, "Are you Starlight?"

The girl remained silent for a while upon hearing my question, and Hughie was clearly sweating. Seeing that I was ignoring him, Hughie started talking.

"Butcher implanted a tracking device on you, and we know that you've been killing superheroes wherever you go," Hughie said.

Hearing this, I couldn't help but lose my smile. When had they planted a tracking device on me? I didn't feel a thing.

Various thoughts raced through my mind as I tried to figure out when they might have planted a tracking device on me.

My clothes were burnt, so they couldn't have attached it to me. If it were attached to my special clothing, I would have noticed when I turned my outfit into a wristband.

The only remaining option was that they had fed me the tracking device. I had dined with Butcher twice since I met him, and I hadn't paid much attention to the contents of the meals.

This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version.

"It seems that Butcher is more cunning than I thought," I said, my expression now serious.

Seeing my lack of concern, Hughie attempted to threaten me, assuming that I was worried about my identity being exposed.

"If you don't leave this place, the whole world will know about it," he said.

Starlight, who had been standing beside us the entire time, glared at me and looked at me carefully.

Seeing both of them, I smiled again.

"Do you think I'm afraid of my identity being exposed? Nobody in this world can harm me, and you know it," I said and stood up.

As I rose, Starlight unleashed a beam of light at me. The impact of the light made my new clothes burn, and I was sent flying backward through the restaurant window, landing in the parking area.

I activated my wristband to put on my clothes and stood up. When I looked ahead, I saw Hughie trying to get Starlight to leave the restaurant.

Starlight refused, and she walked towards me. When she approached me, she fired another light beam at me.

This time, I was prepared, and I only took two steps back. I saw that my clothing had been damaged due to the heat from the light.

"I'll need to get new ones."

Not caring about that, I focused on my clothes, which caught Starlight's attention. Annoyed, she launched a more powerful attack than before.

As the light beam came at me, I raised my arms to minimize the damage. The beam hit my arms and exploded. I was pushed back several meters by the force of the explosion.

I got up from the ground and looked at Hughie, who was trying to force Starlight to leave.

When she refused, I noticed that her range was higher than mine, making it a bit challenging. I could have easily killed her with my chaos blades, but challenging fights were better for my development.

I got up and ran towards her at full speed. She responded by firing another light beam at me. Although it hit me, I continued running. I finally reached Starlight.

I grabbed her by the neck and hurled her back into the restaurant. With the force of the throw, she crashed through the restaurant wall and fell inside.

Seeing this scene, some people in the restaurant got scared, while others pulled out their phones to record.

I approached the restaurant and went inside. When I entered the restaurant, Hughie stood in front of me, saying, "Please stop."

I didn't say anything and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him off the ground. He struggled for breath and tried to break free, but I didn't let go.

Just when he was about to suffocate, the restaurant's lights went out, and Starlight got back up.

Starlight's body was glowing. She looked at me and extended her hand towards me, sending a beam of light at me.

As the light hit me, I let go of Hughie, and the impact sent me flying meters away.

After her attack on me, Starlight fell to one knee. Her defense was weak, and when I threw her, she got seriously injured.

Starlight had given her all in this attack and was exhausted. Hughie quickly rushed to her side, supporting her by holding her arm.

"We need to get out of here before Derek arrives," he said.

As they were about to exit the restaurant together, they saw Derek in front of them. His upper body was scorched, and there were small burn marks on his chest.

"Don't be in such a hurry," Derek said.

As Derek approached them, the wounds on his body began to heal. Starlight pushed Hughie and said, "Go from here."

Hughie refused and protested, "Go! You're in my way!"

Upon hearing these words, Hughie nodded and ran away from the scene.

"I assume you knew you couldn't beat me," Derek said.

When Starlight heard these words, she ignored them and turned to Derek.

"Why are you hunting down superheroes?" she asked, clearly trying to buy time.

Derek knew that the girl was trying to stall, but he didn't care.

"It's not a personal matter, just fun," Derek replied.

Besides the fun, there was also a mission reward, but he couldn't tell that to Starlight.

"Enough talking," he said, and he launched an attack on Starlight.

Starlight fired beams of light to slow him down, but they had no effect on Derek. Derek closed in on Starlight and delivered a powerful punch to her ribs, causing her to cough up blood.

Derek didn't stop there; he grabbed Starlight by the throat and slammed her to the ground. The impact caused the ground to shake and crack.

Derek looked down at the helpless Starlight, her spine likely broken, in a vulnerable state. He raised his foot and crushed Starlight's head.

"No!"

As he crushed Starlight's head, a scream came from the side, and before understanding what was happening, Starlight was hit by a sudden force, sending her flying and crashing into a nearby car.

It was a swift blow, but it lacked the power to cause significant harm. It merely made Derek's head spin for a moment.

When I looked ahead, I saw a man in a blue superhero costume.

*A-Train, he's finally here,* I thought.

At the moment, he was not paying any attention to me and was looking at the headless body of Starlight on the ground. His face displayed disbelief and panic.

I seized this opportunity and summoned the chaos blades. I swiftly hurled the blade in my right hand. The chains of the blade extended, increasing its range, and it precisely cut off A-Train's legs.

As his legs were severed, A-Train screamed in agony and hurled curses at me. With the chaos blades in my hand, I walked towards him. When he saw me approaching, he used his hands to push himself back.

"You're quite foolish," I said with a smirk.

In this world, there were only two people who could escape from me. One of them was Homelander because he could fly, and the other was A-Train. A-Train was incredibly fast, and he could easily get away from me.

"Don't do it, I don't want to die!" A-Train pleaded.

I paid no attention to his words and instead looked at the system windows in front of me. After killing Starlight, my next target was clear, and the next one in my sights was A-Train.

"Even if you don't want to die, it seems like someone wants you dead," I said, and I plunged the blade into his chest.

As I stabbed him, hellfire spread over him and engulfed him in flames. Judging from A-Train's screams, this process seemed excruciatingly painful.

The hellfire quickly consumed A-Train, reducing him to ashes. As I killed him, a new system notification appeared in front of me, showing my next target.
