Description:

The Swordsmith is one of the various evolutions of the Blacksmith. This class specializes in weapons, mostly due to evolving the Intermediate-tier class while focusing on the STR status value. Swords in general are even easier to make for a Swordsmith, hence the reason for its name compared to the likes of "Weaponsmith" or something similar.

To become a Swordsmith, the smith in question has to develop their attribute skills with a focus on the Metallic and Construct categories. This makes it more common to see Swordsmiths using the Smelt or Steel attributes, as they both belong to both categories, but it is still possible to replace them with attributes such as Wax, Mirror, or even Music (all members of the Construct category) + attributes such as Metal, Silver, or Gold (Metallic attributes).

Other than that, a Swordsmith can forge any weapon and are even granted some skills that allow them to test their weapons out in the field. This makes them one of the few Crafter-line classes that can be somewhat useful in direct combat, but it's nothing compared to other Advance-tier combat classes.

The class does also not provide any decline in stat-growth, so that other, more related status values can grow even further, as a Swordsmith will take inspiration from any possible sources, even in the arts of curses and magic. That, and they need a high RES value so they can withstand the high heat coming from their forge while making their swords. HP and SP are also good stats to train if you wish to master this class.

Unlocked skills:

Unlocks from having Swordsmith as the Main Class: [Weapon Trial Lv.1] Unlocks at Lv.1: [Weapon Maker Lv.1] Unlocks at Lv.1: [Smithing Hammer Lv.1] Unlocks at Lv.10: [Workshop Creation Lv.1] Unlocks at Lv.20: [Tin Smelting Lv.1] Unlocks at Lv.30: [Smelt Seal Lv.1] Unlocks at Lv.40: [Occultal Sword Lv.1] Unlocks at Lv.50: [Vulcan's Weapon (False) Lv.1]

* [Weapon Trial]: A T2 skill that acts as a "Proficiency"-type passive effect that allows the user to equip and gain all abilities of any weapon they like. However, this effect does not provide any extra abilities, as is common with these types of skills at the 2nd tier and higher, so it is just to test out to see if their creations are up to standard.

* [Weapon Maker]: A T2 Crafting Skill that allows one to create weapons. The class' bread and butter, and an evolution of the [Weapon Creation] skill.

* [Smithing Hammer]: A passive T2 skill that is an evolution of the [Hammer Proficiency] skill. It allows one to equip hammer items while also giving the items a bonus when using them to forge new weapons. This skill belongs to the Construct and Metallic categories, so it will gain any bonus effects from skills that enhance either (or both) attribute categories, or even from effects that only affect a single attribute from either (or both) categories.

* [Workshop Creation]: A T1 skill that is commonly found among Magician-line and Crafter-line classes. When activated, it enhances the field around the user, creating a "workshop" that enhances the effect of creation-type skills (even non-Crafting skills). One can evolve the skill to match the crafting style of any related class they have, such as evolving to enhance forging capabilities through the Swordsmith class.

* [Tin Smelting]: A T2 Crafting Skill that allows one to melt metals. Despite it looking like it belongs to the Smelt attribute only, it is a multi-attributed skill belonging to three categories: Heat, Metallic, and Construct.

* [Smelt Seal]: A T2 skill that belongs to the Smelt attribute this time around, but it can evolve to adapt to any other Metallic and/or Crafting category attribute later on. The skill's effect is to "seal" the powers of a raw material into their creation. Take a dragon's fang, for example, and seal it into a sword, and voila. You now have a sword with the sharpness of a dragon's bite. Talented Swordsmiths may even cause an effect to generate a phantom dragon to bite into the target when you stab them with the said sword.

* [Occultal Sword]: A T2 Crafting Skill that is a must-have if one wishes to forge Holy or Demonic Swords. Trying to create either type of weapon without this skill, or a derivation of it, will lead to the creation process failing.

* [Vulcan's Weapon (False)]: A T2 Crafting Skill related to an otherworldly god. It vastly enhances any creations made through the act of forging and will grant an additional bonus if the item created is any weapon-type equipment. The skill will lose its "False" trait upon evolving to its T3 variant.

Flint's comment: The fine thing about this class is that you're not limited to only forging swords or weapons.

Bloom's comment: Are you sure? My arms still feel like jelly after hitting that gong. It sure felt like a weapon to me.
