Chapter 161

"Quit that crap and sit down already. I don't want to waste my preciously limited battle time with mundane conversations." the teenager who raised his hand at Axel replied.

"Prepare yourself. I'm going to beat your ass so fast that you won't realize what is happening until it is over." Axel said as he sat in front of him.

"We will see that," he replied."Which type of battle do you prefer?"

"I don't care. I can beat you in any situation. Axel said confidently.

"Let's have a duel then. That way, you would not lose a lot of resources even after I destroy you." the man replied.

"Come on, dude. You can do it easily." Adam encouraged his friend.

After saying that, they began to look into each other's eyes to create a connection between their worlds. Axel tried to decide who he would send to fight as soon as the tunnel opened.

"Heaven, show me every creature inside my world above stage seven," he ordered.

Not even a second later, a hundred light screens appeared before him.

The first thing he realized was the number of magical beasts above stage seven in his world. Compared to the number of cultivators, it was many times more.

One of the things that made a smile appear on his face was the fact that there were a lot of ice snakes like the one he had used in the tournament. Clearly, the bloodline of Snowflake had helped them achieve a might the rest of the creatures couldn't compare to.

For a few seconds, he thought about repeating the plan of the last battle and sending a snake like the last one, but he decided to discard that idea. After all, he wanted to test how his troops were doing, and using the same ones over and over would be useless unless he wanted to create a world specialized in snakes.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

"Heaven, discard the ice snakes," he said.

In an instant, some of the light screens disappeared, making it easier for him to choose between the remaining ones.

The idea of using a different kind of magical beast crossed his mind, but he discarded it. Magical beasts were powerful and probably the best option for a duel, but he would like to see what the cultivators were capable of doing too.

After a few minutes of looking around, he told Heaven to discard the rest of the beasts. With that done, he reduced the list to less than half.

After reading a few of them, he soon found one that caught his attention.

It was a man with a scar that crossed his whole face. He was at the peak of the seventh stage and was one of the first cult leaders to declare loyalty to Heaven after contacting them.

There were candidates much more powerful, but he was one of the cultists with the highest cultivation, and he wanted to see what they were capable of, so he decided to go with him anyway.

"Heaven, we are going to use this person. But since he is a cultist, we can't simply send him to the archway, so you are going to pause the world while we fight, so no one notices that he has crossed the tunnel." Axel explained his plan."Tell him that you are going to make him go through a test to see if he is capable of something. I'll let it be your decision."

"As you wish," Heaven replied.

Following Axel's orders, she contacted the cultist to explain the situation before freezing the world. The man, finding himself in a situation where he could benefit from performing well, picked up his best weapons and equipment before he was transported to the archway by Heaven.

As if the space inside the archway broke, a hole suddenly opened from nowhere. The man poked his head inside the hole to check if there was anything dangerous before finally entering.

There he found a tunnel made of pure energy, with another entrance at the opposite end.

From it, a figure appeared.

It was a pale man wearing crimson metallic armor and carrying a long katana. Seeing the cultist, the armored man unsheathed his weapon and began to advance toward his opponent.

Calmly, the cultist advanced toward the center of the tunnel as he prepared for the fight.
