Karla stared at the blond hair girl in front of her with great wariness.
She was surprised to be called out by her the moment she entered the clubhouse with her boyfriend. When she was invited for private conversation to resolve their misunderstanding she instantly understood that the matter would revolve around her lover. She thus agreed and skipped the club hours for today.
After going to a place much suitable for it their conversation began with her starting,
“Listen, Luna. I am well aware that you have a crush on my boyfriend and plan to go further but let me tell you that as long as I am his lover there's no chance of it happening so it is better for you to give up early.”
She straightforwardly stated her intention to Luna without beating around the bush. She very much preferred to talk about the real issue instead of mincing the words to leave it to chance whether the other party was keen enough to understand the meaning. Fortunately for her, Luna also had no intention of wordplay as she replied,
“Is that so? Whether I give up on him or not is my personal matter so you don't have to trouble yourself over it. Today's conversation won't be focused on that. Do you even know what he told me yesterday?”
Karla frowned a bit as she wondered what he might have said to her to make her mention it now. She had a suspicion that today's sudden “private conversation” or whatever was initiated by her because of what had happened between Luna and him after they went with teacher Nicole yesterday.
“I don't know. Stop being mysterious about it. It is probably the reason why you are so upfront with me.”
“That's right. It is indeed that reason. He apologized to me yesterday because of you. You have nothing to say for it?”
She revealed with a bit of an angry expression on her face. Karla's frown got deeper and she asked in a skeptical tone,
“Because of me? Why would he apologize out of nowhere? There is nothing to feel sorry about you. Stop with the lies.”
“Heh, why would I need to lie about such a thing? After all, because of your rude behavior for the past two weeks he obviously felt bad for me. Did you really think of him as someone ignorant of your actions? Hmph!”
“...”
Her emotion became a bit resentful towards Luna. Did she get her here just to gloat how she received an apology from him? That being said, she also felt angry at herself for causing him to say sorry to this wench just because of her.
Based on her understanding, though he was a bit dense about those hyena-like girls, he was keen on matters that pertained to those he cared for. So him feeling bad because of her rudeness to Luna was not something out of the question.
“So what if he apologized to you? I will properly talk with him about this. Does that give you the right to covet him though? Stop dreaming too much!”
“You are too preoccupied over the petty things that you still failed to notice the main issue. Are you stupid!? Do I really have to explain everything?”
“Hey! Watch your words.”
“Listen carefully so you could get it inside that hollow skull of yours. He is feeling stressed because of you. Your behavior is hurting his mental health yet you still do the same thing everyday. You don't care about him enough! That's why he had to even apologize for you.”
Her stern words hit Karla like a lightning bolt as she widened her eyes in realization. However, she quickly recovered to her calm expression since she didn't want to give even the slightest satisfaction to this wench for hitting the nail. She stubbornly insisted,
“That’s your own opinion. How do you even know that I don't care about him? My love for him is deeper than you could ever imagine.”

“Yeah, keep saying that. One day, you will end up hurting him so much that he will lose his smile. I am seriously warning you. You better get your act straight for if such a day ever comes then even if I have to break the academy rules I swear that I will make you dearly pay for it.”
She hissed at her with unconcealed scorn as if she was a toxic individual who only served to harm him. Karla became livid at being so openly threatened by her yet she didn't retort as she obviously knew that Luna was being sincerely concerned about him. This made her feel bitter and self-hateful within.
It was indeed true that she had ended up ignoring how he might have felt because of the rudeness since from his perspective his girlfriend kept behaving this way to a party member he found and formed the Azure Sun party with. It was even worse that all of this started after he had invited that party member in the same club as him.
Given his personality it must have felt to him that he was partly to blame for the current situation.
Karla concluded while looking at Luna with a complicated expression. In truth, earlier she felt no regret for having behaved that way as she was concerned with the thoughts of defending what belonged to her. Now that she got face slapped by Luna and accused of not having cared for him she was both enraged and regretful at the same time.
Turns out, she wasn't the perfect girlfriend she wanted to be for him.
“This wouldn't have happened if you kept your hands off him. All of this started because of you. Don't you blame me for everything!”
“Wow, well done. Now that you're proven otherwise you blame someone else. I wonder what he even saw in you.”
“Am I wrong to blame you!? Tell me then. Without your involvement would the present situation ever unfold?”
“Even if it was some other girl you would have still hurt him because way too many first year students have a crush on him. This situation would still unfold, so yes.”
“THEN WHAT ARE YOU TELLING ME TO DO??”
Karla shouted at her in frustration as she got face slapped again. She indeed kept getting reality checks of how she could never avoid hurting him. His fans and admirers were enormous in number and the amount of girls gunning for him was big enough to give her despair. Truly, just what should she do?
“Stop shouting at me. You should have been a bit more tolerant and all of this could have been avoided.”
“How dare you!! You are telling me to watch on as you make a move on my boyfriend!?”
“That's right.”
“Nonsense! I will never stand still while girls like you are trying to harm him like this.”
“Harm!? What harm did I cause him!? You are the one speaking nonsense!”
They kept bickering like that back and forth but before they knew it, hours had already passed yet they still haven't reached a conclusion. Both of them felt a bit out of breath from the sheer stubbornness they experienced from the other party.
“Sigh... I will compromise.”
Seemingly having reached her limit Luna was the one who gave in and proposed a compromise.
When Karla heard her proposal, though reluctant, she still agreed as it was the only way both of them would know peace.
Truly, her boyfriend was high maintenance.

Blue picked up Karla and headed home after bidding the other club members farewell. Luna was absent which gave him some clues to what type of conclusion they might have reached today.
On their way home, he asked her curiously and with a bit of “hope” mixed in it,
“Have your misunderstandings with her resolved now?”
Karla didn't say anything but only nodded yet the reluctance in her eyes was noticed by his sharp perception. It seemed that it was a victory for the reincarnator but the “girlfriend” didn't lose by that much.
“As long as it’s fine.”
“I am sorry, Blue. I heard from her that you apologized because of me. I have ended up hu—”
She didn't get to finish her sentence as he put a finger on her lips to hush her before he shook his head a little to “reassure” her,
“You shouldn't overthink. At best, I was a bit troubled, that's all.”
His finger got kissed by her soft lips before being shoved in her mouth from her playfulness. She hugged him from the side while staying silent as many thoughts swirled in her mind.
He was sure that she was thinking back to the result and weighing about how much she got to keep without being infringed upon her crucial rights such as his “first” lover and the “priorities” it retained. To her inner calculations he naturally feigned ignorance and displayed his usual self.
He let her be since he was the “dense” guy after all.
