Blue observed the holographic list displayed on the air as Julie kept on describing the rewards and its specifics. His eyes glowed as he saw some of the resources he needed urgently appear on that list.
All the students were even more gleeful than him as these young adults ignorant of affairs in the void found everything there earth-shattering from their perspective. It wouldn't be wrong to say that if they were given an aether crystal and told that it was some supreme treasure valued by even Grand Duke Arthur himself they would probably believe it.
He had found three rewards in that reward list that he instantly decided to aim for in this event.
First, the reward for placing first place in the party ranking was a Violet Ingot. This ingot was extremely suitable for the growth-type bident he had planned to handmade in this life. His previous bident, a precious Artifact of third epoch with a Artifact Spirit awakened in it, was no longer suitable for him to wield publicly for obvious reasons.
With this ingot he would only be left with the need of one last ingredient that would finally make a suitable weapon for a “human” player to possess in others eyes.
Second, the reward for eliminating at least three opponents personally was a dozen Sublime Dye packets. For every increase four more packets will be added at the final tally. This was also a necessary resource he had been in need of and as his luck would have it these dyes appeared in his hands reach. Alongside the bident he also needed a suitable growth-type armor that was eligible for his current self. He was absolutely adamant on not compromising in the matters that related to his future safety.
His previous armor, a fourth epoch Artifact close to awakening an Artifact Spirit, needed to be remolded for his human self. An Artifact that has a spirit and that hasn't got one was a pivotal benchmark on the powers that it possessed. His Compass of Fortuity was a fifth-rank Artifact with no Artifact Spirit and only a singular element power present in it as its potential hadn't been fully unleashed for only being in existence since previous epoch.
Above fifth-rank were fourth-rank, those Artifacts of fourth epoch with close to having their spirit awakened and already possessing dual elements powers in it, his previous armor was of this rank. With this pattern the third-rank were of third epoch and with an awakened Artifact Spirit in it. Naturally, it had triple elements power in it which was why his previous bident was the most valued treasured weapon in his subspace.
Above the third-rank were second-rank and first-rank but even with his status as a top powerhouse such Artifacts were out of his reach. He was certain that only core denizens had such private wealth. Anyways, with the Sublime Dye packets he could start working on that armor but the problem was that unlike the bident he needed a lot of other resources and ingredients to mix with that dye so it could only be put off for now. Blue consoled himself by saying inwardly,
“At least it would be collected at this early stage.”
He needed three dozen packets for the remolding and of course, since there was an option to be able to receive more with higher elimination numbers he would gladly utilize it to keep a free stock of it in his inventory. So he needed to at least eliminate nine mages personally.
Third, the reward for completing sub quests with over seventy percent grading for at least three times was a one hour long Permission Ticket for special facility private usage. For every increase another ticket will be added to the tally. This was actually a very good reward for a newbie player like them and even for Blue this held much allure.
After having trained for a month he had only increased one class level thus making him a level 15 player. Such slow progress was unavoidable as higher the level the longer it takes to refine the aether vein. Not to mention, he can't keep leveling up rapidly by insane combat by using his true attainments so he could only follow the top prodigy's expected progress.

This month he also didn't get any marvelous opportunity such as being able to train in the Mountain of Triumph which had a boosting effect in gaining experience to level up the more you trained there. At his level he would have started ascending the mountain to get further benefits but obviously such a thing was unavailable as it was reserved for the ordeal set to be held at later months.
The present lessons of terrain adaptability held minimal effect for his level but it was significant for other students who finally reached the Second Skill Unlocking stage or got somewhat close to Third Skill Unlocking stage. He had stood far apart from their low level that's why his leveling up was akin to a snail's pace now.
Anyways with those Permission Tickets he could enter into a time accelerated special facility for combat class to fully enjoy one hour of refinement that would turn to at least more than six hours inside there. With more tickets he might get to keep this grind active for two to three days in a set routine without missing out on compulsory subjects lessons.
This was bound to result in a level up.
So these three rewards of Violet Ingot, Sublime Dye and Permission Ticket was his main goal in this event that he must get for his future plans. On the agenda he now had to get his Azure Sun party first in the rank but since his party already was first ranked he now had to focus to maintain this status quo, he also had to eliminate more than nine mages personally and complete more than nine side quests with over seventy percent grading.
With the general plan set, it was now time to take action.

Julie finished her speech and instructed the students to enter the map.
The non-combatants entered first before the map changed again to the one where combat students were to compete for a week. She kept her eyes focused on student Blue's party as she saw their figure enter the map by leaping off the floating platform.
In the map for the combatants the four hazardous biomes were called Stormy Ocean, Sizzling Desert, Thundering Rainforest and Frozen Mountains. The central plains was the only safe place devoid of any danger but it was also the end goal so it was certain that no matter which biome student Blue found himself in the difficulty was nearly the same everywhere.
She, however, being the vice principal had additional information and the authority to tweak it so he could have a relatively easy time without appearing overstepping in front of those mage teachers. Now that he was about to become a valuable asset for her House Auburn this type of consideration was acceptable but that being said, she had decided to not interfere in any way.
This event was a good way to check his progress this month. Even though she had gotten all the information about his three attainments and levels from the status window, observing directly of his practical actions was accurate to gauge his development. The fact that the many parts of the event had a heavy luck element involved was also a plus factor to check the inherent luck he possessed.
A player's, or any being's, future achievements and potential could be surmised by the amount and quality of fortune and fate they inherently possessed since birth. Some people would see a massive turn in it by encountering a massive fortune such as a top powerhouse’s inheritance thus leaping into the categories of those with inherent boundless potential but of course, such cases were increasingly rare as most didn't had the initial capability to be able to keep the inheritance from being snatched by others.
Student Blue, on the other hand, seemed to possess great luck and fate as the very fact that an outer denizen like him was able to get her attention and favor was a glaring proof. It was even more satisfying that he had a good personality and a righteous mindset that was appreciated by her grandfather.
So Julie always had kept a keen eye on his movements in the academy especially since the last tragic incident.
Now she wanted to see his performance for the next twelve hours. Inside the map was one week but outside was only half a day. As the exam began at sharp ten in the morning the event will end at ten in the night. Usually her grandfather would skip the exam as soon as it had begun and return to his office promptly but now he had deviated from his usual routine to see student Blue’s performance.
It seemed that just like her, the strict grandfather was also keeping an eye on him.
