Clara quickly ended the call before her mother could lecture her about her behavior. She had a bitter expression on her face now. She pondered aloud,

"Now both mom and Karla have such a good impression of him. Just who is he? If he was really such a guy to make them choose him out of others then how come he was still at the orphanage when he was close to an adult by now? If he is so praiseworthy then shouldn't he have been adopted by others way before mom? I have to talk with him to see what's all this about."

She had a suspicion that this Blue guy might not be as simple as her mother described. She would make sure to thoroughly interrogate him when she had the time later. For now she had to quickly go to the training grounds lest she gets her points deducted for lack of discipline by running late. She exited her room which looked more like a luxurious hotel room than a student dorm room.

She was given an apartment room on the four floor tall luxurious apartment for performing excellently in the entrance test. Most of the students usually lived in a dorm together in a four person group. Her status in the academy among the students was very high for performing well on the very first day. The academy divides the students into those who had high potential and those who were average or below.

A solid hierarchy had already formed on the first day.

She also managed to attract the attention of many teachers in the midterm test of her first year. She had the qualifications to graduate in the first year by taking a different final exam than others but she postponed it nonetheless. She gave the reason that she wanted to learn a bit more before graduating. Her big brother's deed was very vivid in her memories. She didn't want to follow his steps and ignore her family.

Thus she actually waited for Karla to enroll in the academy and graduate with her as the same batch when she would eventually take that exam. Both her and her brother being a genius she had confidence that the last one in the family would follow suit.

Clara's hope would have been dashed if she couldn't even become awakened but she was certain of her sister's success. Why so? It actually had to do with the events after she awakened an extraordinary attribute. She never mentioned this to the academy or her family for that matter. After she awakened her eyes had become completely purple and everyone seemed to think it was a result of that attribute's peculiarity.

However she could now argue that they were false. She had noticed that after she got her aether sense she could see certain numbers on top of others. She was first startled at this but was able to perfectly fool others by staying calm on the surface.

After experimenting for four months she figured out the meaning.

Anyone who was weaker than her in strength would display a number of probability over their head. As for what type of action that probability number represented, it actually depended on what she wanted to know of.

An example was that she wanted to know if that person would say good morning to her tomorrow then the probability number would change and show the chances of that action happening out of hundred. A hundred being absolute certainty and anything below was subjected to change but zero meant there was no chance of it happening. Higher numbers still had a good chance of being accurate though.

She called it Prediction skill.

At first she could only gain one prediction result per day. If she tried again then the prediction would fail regardless of the insignificance of what she wanted to predict and a severe headache would assail her making her feel as if her head would explode at any moment.

After the first few times of painful experiment she cautiously used this skill and now after two years the limit had increased to six. Though there were some more conditions when prediction was bound to fail, it didn't hamper her excitement for gaining such a skill completely unrelated to her class.

With this skill, she had predicted Karla's success and it was a 100% probability. She also predicted if she would be genius enough to take the final exam within a year and to her sheer joy it was another 100%. At that time she just wanted to scream and boast to everyone how her entire family was a bunch of heavenly prodigy.

Of course she didn't. She also realized that given their current background and her brother being unfilial on top of that, too much attention would cause certain types of people to have malicious intentions towards them.

Thus she kept the matter of Prediction skill a secret from even her family since she wasn't certain if her calls were under surveillance to enforce the contract she had signed after passing the entrance test. She also pretended to have average results so as not to worry her mother over the reasons behind postponing graduation.

After she reached the training grounds other students glanced at her with either a respectful or envious look on their faces. Even the teacher of that period known for being bad tempered treated her as if she was a rare treasure.

Other students could only swallow the bitter feeling welling up inside them.

His existence level had a significant increase from the puny 0.01 to 0.14 in a single night. He had a rare pleasant smile on his face as he finally saw some progress. His immediate concern had been solved with this. He could now stand before any players without much fear.

However there were still many methods he was aware of that could expose him. On top of that his current plan required him to be high profile so there was a chance of encountering troublesome people who couldn't breathe without making others life difficult.

Since there was a chance of being disturbed at a crucial moment he had to move to his former base. Thus he gave them some excuses and informed them he would come back in the evening from the orphanage that he "dearly missed".

It had to be said that Blue's schedule was jam packed. Not only did he have to make many preparations before the awakening ceremony but he also had to come up with a proper plan to tackle the first main mission he got at lunch yesterday after he praised Laura.

Sure enough this Blessed Womb physique was very important for the system as both the first main mission and side mission was related to her. However he would properly check on it at a later date as he wanted to focus on the task at hand.

After returning to the orphanage where everybody had been corrupted he went to his former room where he stayed for six years and started taking out stuff from the subspace.

He had marked out six weaknesses that could expose or hinder him and three priorities that he needed to work on after mitigating it.

The six weaknesses were very grave for any of his future plans and activities.

First being soul searched. One's soul was interconnected to the brain's capacity of storing all information and thus could be searched with a certain height of strength and specific methods. Of course if someone wanted to soul search it was regarded as either a last resort or the suspect being unimportant so the consequences were negligible. Any soul searching had a high chance of making the searched party mentally impaired or harming the soul thus making them crippled.

Second was a blood test. One's blood could contain information that would indicate the individual possessing a certain type of bloodline that grants abilities to them after fulfilling conditions. A mortal human with any rare bloodline would be under immediate attention and subjected to intense investigation. That blood could also be used for harm as there were cases where a single drop of blood was used to kill the unsuspecting individual.

Third being a gene test. One's body contains information that could be derived from any part of the body if certain equipment or abilities were used on it. It could be used for either a harmless investigation or for malicious intentions as the connection with the main body could be utilized through many peculiar means to get what the other party wanted.

Fourth was mind reading. One's mind was the doorway to the individual soul that governed the thoughts, intentions and wills of that individuality. After reaching a certain threshold in both strength and aether comprehension one could read the surface thoughts of others and later it even becomes possible to read all the thoughts of people weaker than you or those that didn't have any countermeasure to shield their mind.

Fifth being elemental methods. One's fate could be and foretold at certain extent by special methods or other means, one's action could be rewind or foreseen by temporal abilities or being strong enough to peer into the time's river surface, one's location could be tracked or retraced by the aether imprints left on any space that had been traversed as long as someone had spatial abilities or means dedicated to such nuances, one's actions or future achievement could be scrutinized by roughly calculating the fortune of the person through luck specific abilities or methods. The profoundness of primordial elements could be someone's downfall if they had no contingency against it.

Sixth was the hostage situation. One's social life would always lead to having a special few that could be targeted by others to harm them indirectly by somehow ruining their relationships, extracting vested interests or making a meticulous scheme fruitless. Such a situation was akin to taking hostage that person's freedom of action. If preemptive measures had not been taken then only hardship awaits.

On the other hand, the three priorities were most important for his new life to be a success.

First was personal strength. One's strength was enough to carry weight on their words no matter how much nonsense they sprouted. Preserving one's life in a dangerous situation, deterring enemies, accumulating wealth and finally being able to keep that wealth all depended on strength. Second being social status. One's social status naturally determined how much adversity and goodwill they would get throughout their lifetime. Without a strong and influential background, being turned into someone's pawn was a matter of course. If one has not been born with such a head start then the efforts in making acquaintances, connections, friends, partners etc would have to be prioritized.

Third was reputation. One's reputation was something made after they had gone through much in their life. But if someone doesn't put in the early efforts to a stable foundation where their reputation would flourish then even with a lofty social status and tremendous strength one would keep facing obstacles on their way.

With the general plan laid out Blue started on the matter of soul search.
