Clara just finished attending today's compulsory subjects.

Going by her usual routine she should have been making her way to the aura attribute theory lessons now which she always chose every six months but today she didn't do so.

She was in the recreational clubs premises right now. Her sister had urged her to join the club along with her. She apparently felt kind of lonely when Blue was out tending to the aura beasts without accompanying her.

She couldn't help but feel a little bitter.

Just what happened to her little sister after getting a man? Now she had been put in a priority for when she felt bored, that's all. Was this the same sister who couldn't sit still without talking about every single detail of her life? Regardless she didn't mind though.

As long as she was happy with him.

Because of Karla's insistence she didn't choose the aura attribute theory subject this time when the time limit for the previous session was up. By getting into contact with teacher Nicole, she also joined the Beast Racing club, causing a secret celebration among the club members and a sigh of relief from the advisor.

She had to say this club's previous performance had made her prejudiced on joining it but when she heard that Blue was dedicated to make this club reach its peak she also thought to give him a hand. He was a family, after all. There was just something about him that radiated a good feeling like basking under the sun.

One really couldn't hate this guy. So she joined along with Karla and had been helping the club since.

After entering the main building, She caught the sight of Karla who's mood was a bit gloomy. She became curious and couldn't help but ask what's wrong with her now.

Her reply left her shaking her head tiredly.

"Karla, I don't mean to be nosy but you also need to understand that he needs to focus harder so that he could get the first place in Paladin class. With you around it will naturally be a bit difficult to completely focus on the aura refinement method."

Blue listened intently as the topic of void history was introduced by Edward,

"Earlier we mentioned the other three cosmic empires. Now that all of you have some understanding about the union let's talk about some history outside of it. The name of the other three empires are Holy Beast Nation, Netherworld and Tian Dao Continent. Indeed, they don't have any semblance to a stereotypical empire's naming sense just like the union."

"These three empires have different civilizations with various races within it. Now, since all of us are humans, let us talk about another branch of the human race. Unlike us from the union who would typically advance and retreat together with other two domains in front of outsiders they however are so rampant throughout the void that at one point in history the Holy Beast Nation's Inner Area was nearly conquered by them while they successfully held off the intervention of other empires."

"If not for the two calamity races sensing a gap in their empire's crucial security measures thus frantically attacking them from the rear the whole universe's geopolitical structure would have shifted permanently. During that conquest on the Inner Area even the Core Areas of all the empires got involved as they focused on deterring each other without properly interfering. Or so was recorded in history."

"The one who caused such mayhem is the dominant race who lords over the Tian Dao Continent. The longevity human race who pursued immortality to attain dao, the path of all things. The cultivators who cultivated the spiritual qi, we know as aura, to grasp the fabled immortality. A polar opposite of us players."

Edward's speech greatly baffled the students as they couldn't help but question if immortality was truly even possible and yet their entire civilization centered around pursuing it. Isn't this foolishness? Then they remembered that the esteemed Grand Duke Arthur, the founder of the path of player, was still alive and ruling this domain. Maybe it was actually possible or so they subconsciously thought.

Blue wasn't even phased from knowing about them who he even personally dealt with in his past but still acted along for now. They surprisingly called the abyss spawn names like heart demon, inner demon or just demons and devils. Other races in the void also had their own naming sense about his race.

"They even call us one of the calamity races instead of the void-kin race. Abyss spawns from the Abyss being one of the two branch races of void-kin also got dubbed as such. Well, I have been stuck as a human in this life so my past life's actions against the races of the four empires if summarized was indeed akin to being a calamity on them. Heh, both branches of the void-kin race had evolved and developed in such a way that without harming other races we would stagnate on our paths. We are just being ourselves, you know?"

His true mentality as an abyss spawn was a matter of great relief for him in this life as he would surely dread treading in his plans that were stained with evil from a human's perspective constrained by morality and ethics.

Anyways, he put a stop on his stray thoughts as his Premonition ability grew stronger,

"We also need to talk about the culprit who kicked off the conquest at that time. It was a cultivator named Bai Hua. She apparently wanted the phoenixes from Holy Beast Nation as her exclusive mount instead of those residing in the continent so she had the desire to capture them and bring them in her sect. She thus attacked them with her entire sect's might in the very first year of her term as the new sect leader. This incident later on coincided with other top cultivation powerhouses' many interests so it snowballed into a massive invasion over the years."

"This war greatly damaged the very roots of the nation while the continent suffered minor injuries from the rear attack of the calamities that was halted because of their decisiveness to abandon the ongoing campaign. All the four empires had the general stance to prioritize their defense against the calamities regardless of any immediate benefits in front of them. We will talk about the calamities at a different time. Now let's focus on the union's action at that time."

Edward continued teaching them about this particular part of void history without noticing a certain student's shocked expression that lingered for a few seconds before being calm as a lake.

"Again? Who the hell is Bai Hua? I am absolutely certain that it was a man named Bai Xuan. He wanted to capture the dragons, not the phoenixes. The discrepancies are no longer just targeted at the union but… the entire universe?"

His Premonition ability had deactivated after learning Bai Hua's history. He noticed that Karla's attention on him had exposed to her the slight moment he lost control over his expressions. Though a blunder but it was a manageable one so he wasn't concerned about it.

The reason why he lost his composure was for a possibility he thought of,

"This is definitely the Jester's Domain and other places are also the same from what I heard. The only difference was the change in identity about those historical figures. Especially the number of female figures who stood at the top or were influential had increased in number proportionate to the male figures decrease. So…"

Blue had pieced together the clues and found the truth.
