In the capital within the Guild Alliance's headquarters, a certain message surprised many players who were assigned as the overseers for the monthly awakening ceremony.

In the coastal city of Carnova, a very remote place that had been in the center of spotlight for six years, during the awakening ceremony they had come across someone very interesting.

The local overseers couldn't figure out just what type of attribute they had awakened. Their class was also something they hadn't heard before. There was even a strange phenomena when they awakened.

The locals suspected some kind of special bloodline or physique's appearance when all of this happened. However they were surprised again when they figured there was no such thing. So they hastily sent the video recording of the entire proceedings to the headquarters and asked for further instructions.

Players in the capital were startled by such news. Their first thought was someone pranking them and when they saw the authenticity from the recordings they remembered the lessons from their academy days. Their expression became grave.

Nobody dared to think it was nonsense anymore.

Blue went back to his room after spending most of the night fixing the issues. He had a solid plan for tomorrow's ceremony. Since there was still some time left he decided to sleep for a bit.

In the morning, he woke up and got ready to commence his plans. After a light breakfast he and Karla left for the city administration office.

In order to not garner any attention or minimize it at least, he wore a bucket hat. It was given as the return gift for the bracelets. The pair thought he very much liked dark color in dressing styles so they bought the same color to suit his tastes.

He indeed liked it.

On the way he saw other mortal humans going in the same direction with the same destination as them. Karla would greet and talk with a few of them from time to time whenever she saw an acquaintance or a friend. He just stood beside her silently.

In front of the office building it was very crowded. At sharp ten, some players appeared and a wrinkled face explained the procedures to these young adults. Blue tried to remain obscure but even with nearly half of his face covered there were still some who kept glancing at him curiously and tried to get closer to him to get a good view within the crowd.

He took a deep breath so as not to show annoyance on his face as he remained still like a statue. Thankfully he didn't have to suffer for long as the wrinkled face player divided them into nine groups and led them inside the building. They went down to an enormous basement.

He figured this must be the aether-rich spot they would have their ceremony at. The faint aether in the surrounding was a dead giveaway. Of course, he also showed a fascinated expression to fool Karla who looked at him or those who were still gawking at him.

He suspected the Sculpted Form, Center of Attention, Opposite Sex Allurement and Scent Pheromone physique abilities as the main culprits right now. If even with his face half-covered couldn't keep him low profile then his new plan for his new life was more in line with his abilities. His new plan was quite simple.

Blue gritted his teeth and decided to take a risk. He appraised everyone in the basement. Those players were unable to detect anything when he did so. He almost breathed a sigh of relief but continued being impassive. He confirmed another thing about the system, as long as the existence level hadn't exceeded more than 1.11 compared to his level then appraisal won't fail or be detected.

With his new 0.14 level the limit was 1.25 from now on. These players obviously didn't reach this limit. Levels from 0.63 to 0.67 were common among these players with the wrinkled face player being as high as 0.72 single handedly. But what if he bumped into higher existence levels that exceeded the limit?

The academy was bound to have such players. He suspected that only two possible scenarios would unfold. The appraisal fails and he remains undetected or appraisal fails and he was also detected to have done something.

He further cautioned himself.

The wrinkled face player said some more things and finally told them how to awaken through the orbs in those tables. He suddenly looked at him and narrowed his eyes as if in contemplation.

Blue certainly noticed it but he remained nonchalant and stood like a statue. The plan was about to begin.

"You, step up and head to the table."

Wrinkled face player ordered.

It stunned Karla beside him. Other young adults paid attention to him. The remaining players had a look of interest in their faces.

Blue nodded his head and went to the table as he placed his right hand to follow the previous instructions.

As he went forward, he had already figured out why he was suddenly singled out in this ceremony. His physique abilities had been passively influencing others and it took a bit more time to work on the players. His body was still unawakened so the fact that his physique was able to influence the awakened players albeit with some extra time added made him reevaluate his physique.

"This Obsequious Charm physique is also not to be underestimated, huh?"

He said in his mind as he sensed the aether within the orb. This orb was actually an Aether Crystal used as one of the common currencies within the Endless Void. Aether Crystal was the most low value currency in circulation but it could help in a mortal human's awakening regardless.

The moment he placed his hand on it he instantly sensed the aether inside. Given his previous life's experience this was a matter of course. Now if he tried to make the Aether Crystal glow then it would follow his command by stimulating itself to produce light. The light produced would show the color of the attribute he had affinity with. Because the body's aether vein remained unawakened but a rudimentary aether sense had been awakened prior, this would then cause a chain reaction and send the aether within the crystal to his aether vein involuntarily.

Thus completing the awakening.

Blue remembered the two minutes time limit. He could have made it glow within the first second but that would be very suspicious. He indeed wanted to be high profile but not if it would lead to unwanted suspicion. So he waited for ten seconds and then made it glow.

In his past life he had an extraordinary attribute, Frost Flame. It was a variant of fire and ice attributes. Because of this Frost Flame attribute along with the grotto-hell as his birthplace he poetically named himself Azure Limbo.

He wondered what attribute he had an affinity with in this life. He had the best comprehension of Frost Flame attribute within the whole Inner Area so the aether awakening may mirror it or the original Blue's aether attribute affinity may prevail this time since he was in his body after all and it could be none of the above as there was still a system residing within the depths of his soul that may create a variable.

Aether was very mysterious. Its fickleness would only astound oneself the more they had comprehension of it.

Just like now.

The orb glowed in the color of white blinding the surrounding as the basement shook violently. There were a bunch of illusory figures that appeared above his head out of nowhere.

There were the scenes of an emperor commanding his imperial court, a general riding his warhorse as he rallied millions of soldiers, a violent battlefield where there's mountains of corpses and rivers of blood, the world ended with the explosion that shook the surrounding void, the creation of lifeform, the destruction that followed suit.

A rain of blood falling from the sky, a scholarly old man waving his hand towards the heaven to dispel the bloody cloud saving the common folk from untold suffering, there were scenes of planets colliding with each other, meteor the size of a continent raining down, terrifying beasts waking up from slumber as they raised their head the size of a galaxy, figures clad in light and sitting on clouds were weeping silently, a flood so enormous it engulfed a nation…

Blue stared at these scenes with a dumbfounded expression.

"These are visions! Visions that would appear after an aether vein awakening was—"

He stopped thinking till that point as the previous rudimentary aether sense had transformed to become a proper aether sense. His sight changed as he witnessed the aether in the surrounding.

His face paled in horror as the worst case scenario he had dreaded for a long time really became his reality.

"Outer Area!? Why? Ahhh, I am dead!"

He screamed inside his mind while using immense willpower to not start crying in despair at that very moment. His bucket hat managed to conceal much of his expressions of horror but it was unnecessary as almost everybody in the basement were gawking at the visions above his head.

The players had their mouths agape. The young adults looked around in panic as the earthquake still hadn't stopped after a minute. They feared the building would collapse at their head at any moment. Karla had her mouth in "o" shape as she instead stared at him with wide eyes.

Maybe she noticed his horrified expression?

But he didn't have time to pay attention to those insignificant stuff as he was urgently trying to stabilize his breathing to calm down the terrified heart that was beating so violently that he feared it might just explode at any moment. It took about a dozen seconds to get his bearings back.

Fortunately the visions were still going on that stole others attention away from him.

About five minutes after the orb glowed the basement finally stopped shaking and the visions subsided.

Silence.

That was the mood within the basement now. Instead of panicking voices or frantic shouting one might expect after such a long earthquake and illusions it was quite contradictory.

The wrinkled face player pointed at him with a trembling hand and ordered him in a shaken tone,

"Y-you! Stay right there. What did you do? Speak truthfully or you will suffer the consequences!"

"... Sir, I tried following the instructions for awakening and then… this… "

Blue replied in a frightened voice and behaved as if he was deeply shaken by all that happened. Obviously he was pretending.

Though the plan derailed a bit and he had to dread over the world's location from now on but he still had to salvage the situation right now or his new plan will keep going haywire later.

The wrinkled face player looked at the other players as if to ask for their opinion on what to do now. They then started a small discussion and finally made a decision.

"We believe that you might have a special bloodline or a physique. There needs to be further testing so you will follow me and cooperate from here on. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir."

He showed an obedient behavior at the wrinkled face of the player's urgent tone.

Karla also revealed her identity as a family member and asked for permission to follow him. The wrinkled face player rejected instantly and said this was an awakened personal matter so she as an unawakened couldn't be involved even if she was part of his family.

Karla then said,

"Please let me be the next to try to awaken. I will wake up and then follow him."

The wrinkled face player became impatient and was about to reject her but Blue suddenly spoke for her and requested her approval.

The wrinkled face player thought that this was a good chance to impress the owner of a special bloodline or physique so he showed a magnanimous expression and approved of her request.

She didn't disappoint.

After half a minute she was able to make the orb glow in a light blue color stunning the players again as they couldn't figure out which aether attribute this color represented. The white color glow he had shown prior was suspected to be an ice attribute since white represented ice.

They concluded that it must be an extraordinary attribute since the glow was so bright that it was literally blinding but illusory scenes along with the earthquake made them doubt their speculations. There's also the matter of a special bloodline or physique being involved.

The blue color represents the water attribute. Deep blue, light blue and similar variations however represented an extraordinary attribute but which one was it exactly they couldn't tell for now.

So Karla also tagged along with him.

Blue then remembered that he would also need to properly understand the class he received along with the attribute just now.
