Her mother didn't say anything and went back to her room.

Karla also didn't linger around as she urgently needed to take a shower to wash away his traces inside her. Though she swam around the sea for a bit before coming home, her mother's oddly interrogative behavior alarmed her. She truly felt that a mother's instinct was hard to deceive.

Before going to the bathroom she messaged him to inform about her suspicion in detail.

He showed a surprised expression. Laura stood up and stared at his eyes for a moment before she replied,

"Yes, indeed. I heard from Karla that you two were on the beach earlier. What happened to the 'body purification' thingy?"

"Oh, she hasn't properly explained to you then. The thing is you need sunlight to get the medicinal bath to work on your body. So we went there to complete it."

"Wait, what!?"

Her eyes went wide as she questioned frantically,

"Are you telling me that Karla was taking a medicinal bath in the middle of the beach in front of strangers?"
