Over the next couple of days, Kyrain got better and better with his path. He still didn't have quite the control of his path like he would with the system, but his understanding improved so much more.
He grew more accustomed to the sense of wrongness and attributed it to the antimatter itself. It literally did not belong in this universe and came from the beyond. However, he was able to improve on the flow through his new understanding. He had felt that it was mostly chaotic as it spewed forth from the Wellspring within himself. He focused it and forced it to move in organized lines into himself and turned the chaotic bundles into super highways of antimatter in a manner of speaking.
As the increased flow allowed immensely more antimatter into his system, it slammed into his channels and forced them to widen to take on the extra burden and strain. He was stuck in one place the entirety of the day as the growing pains ravaged his entire body. As more and more antimatter was moving around him, it continued as chain reaction which now allowed him to control more and control it easier. He reached to his well and pulled even more and expanded the Wellspring using his increased capabilities.
He didn't know, but he was sure he had gone up a tier based on how easier everything was and how much more powerful his body and mind felt. His body had fully healed by the end of his impromptu meditation and path session so he was ready to get back to his mission.
Kyrain moved for a few more nights trying to find any more Syrain forces, but to his suprise they were gone. He could only find trace remains of camps and trash left behind. He moved up and down the border between Syria and Israel looking for any trace of soldiers. He was thorough especially with a shadow of his aether sense back in action helping him see further and check more closely. Nothing escaped his attention.
Kyrain didn't mind Israel, but was suprised by the landscape. He expected it to be rocky and desert like he always saw in the movies, but no. Sure it had its rocky arid locations, but also had it's extremely lush and beautiful country sides that he wouldn't have minded living at all. He liked the fact there were no sky scrapers, cars, or any sort of electronic technology save for his phone which had a dead battery a long time ago.
Kyrain checked his map against local landmarks and began to navigate his way back to Elisha which took him a couple more days at a steady clip using his new power. As he walked back in, he found the man standing and seeming to teach younger men who seemed to be enraptured by everything the prophet was saying.
Kyrain said down on a rock behind the group and listened. He was unable to understand anything, but that was hardly a downer. He was back in time during the days of one of the legendary prophets and actually watching him teach. He began to think about it a little more that if he could direct whatever happened to him a little better, perhaps he could try for 30-32 AD. He was pulled out of that thought by the sound of footsteps as Elisha approached.

"You were successful. The king has had his spies out non-stop looking for traces of the Syrains, but has found not a single one." Elisha said with a smile.
"Even if I did succeed, you and I both know that the king will return to his calf worship and Israel will return to its old ways. That means the Syrains will return." Kyrain replied looking calmly back to Elisha.
"As God wills." Elisha replied.
"If my task is done, I'd like to go home. Nothing is known about the savior in the book of kings and I think there is a reason for it." Kyrain said.
"Head to the river. Fully immerse yourself seven times." Elisha said as he looked at the murky, muddy, dirty Jordan river.
Kyrain grimaced. He wasn't a fan of being dirty, but he knew better than to argue.
"It's been a pleasure Elisha. I wish you well." Kyrain said as he got up and began to head to the river.
"Before you go." Elisha said walking after Kyrain who turned and faced him. Elisha reached out and grabbed both sides of Kyrain's head and forced his head down to the shorter man.
"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace." Elisha recited the ancient blessing and kissed the crown of Kyrains head.
"You will find it useful later." Elisha said as he turned and headed back to his students who watched the exchange.
Kyrain paused only for a moment more before he went down to the Jordan. He stepped into the water and headed out to the middle, but frowned. The water only came up not even mid-calf. With a sigh he laid down and still wasn't completely under. He had to dig down more and eventually he got himself a small trench in the river bed where he laid down and was fully immersed.
He got up and down six times, then on the seventh he fell and hit concrete.

He saw the notifications and was about to open them when the sound of gun shots was heard above him and an impact hit him.
It wasn't a gun shot, but a hug from a girl. He looked down and saw the familiar silver hair of Nyx.
"You time traveled some how." She said looking up at him.
"Yeah, but let's finish this before we talk. I have a lot to tell you." Kyrain said.
They took two steps, but half of the building collapsed and the shooting stopped.
They were about to rush up and assist when he heard the emergency program alert go off on Nyx's phone.
She pulled up the notification.
"Threat detected that exceeds level 5. All personn are to report to local guild halls for briefing. All level 5 hunters are to report immediately for assignment.
Guild masters and Wardens are also being placed on emergency notice due to extreme threat. Once threat has been evaluated for hostility more information will be released."
There was a heavy drop as a man in tactical gear was dropped next to them and squirming followed by a massive man in heavily reinforced armor dropped next to him and pinned him down until cuffed.
"He needs to go to Quantico. That's Brandon Newland." Josh Dusen said with a satisfied smile before pulling his phone and reading a message they were sure was similar to the one they got.
