● Aether levels have reached the nominal levels. Beasts will now begin inhabiting your world and spawning more frequently in areas of higher aether density with more variety in ability and strength.

● Populated areas are not locations in which beasts can spawn as users take the ambient aether.

● Dungeons and cores will spawn at higher rates and can move toward sentience creating trapped Dungeons. Caution! Trap Dungeons will award any item(s) it has devoured, but be warned they are incentivised to kill every user that enters as they grow through infusions of aether.

● The rifts will now stabilize allowing for travel between rifts when appropriate conditions are met. 5 local solar cycles until full stabilization achieved.

Kyrain read through the system message and was shocked by what it all could mean. He would have to sit and think it through a little more later.

He stepped through the rift and took up his job transporting users to the battle lines.

- Meanwhile: Emergency meeting of the Numbered -

"Finally! Our plan for the seal on Eden to be undone is complete. It has taken us thousands of years, but it is done." Said number 1 behind his mask.

Before the rifts a group of secret people who controlled the happenings across the world in secret worked tirelessly on a plan.

Number 1 controlled all the conflicts and wars across the world. Civilizations rose and fell based off what he needed and what he was ordering done.

Number 2 controlled all the media and flow of information. It was his responsibility to make sure the people never unified to find out why things were the way they are. The numbered didn't need people snooping and getting into things.

Number 3 controlled the underground. Every single illegal transaction fell under her jurisdiction. The other three expected things to happen under her gaze including the removal of people and other nefarious acts.

"Indeed. The next phase can begin with the impending invasion from the other side. We will need to prepare." Number 2 said.

"We need to push this entire world harder to get stronger. With the revelation of an empire on the other side of this rift being notified of our status and the people knowing of the empire, we need to prepare for war if we are to maintain our hold." Number 1 said.

Number 3 raised her masked face up and tilted her head.

"I have paths that the guilds have begun to categorize and push out that are to be limited or even eliminated as they are used only for acts of depravity. I maintain them in the underground for things like this. I will begin pushing them to assault the countries." She said.

There was silence for a moment.

"Yes, I think supreme adversity works wonders on a population. We will need to make sure we keep our places and restoring our previous power." Number 1 said.

He continued to elaborate. "We need to make sure we keep on top. We knew the general population would have majorly powerful people when the system restored finally on this planet it could be a problem with us so weakened from lack of aether for so long. 2, is there anything we need to keep an eye on?"

Number 2 paused for a moment looking at some reference only he could see. "Each country has their elites and front runners. East Asia has the annoying sects that the traitor Number 4 created with them training harshly to unlock human potential through cultivation of what little aether concentration there was before." He said

"Have we located Achilles? I refuse to call him number 4." Snapped number 3.

"No luck. It does make sense considering who he is and how he was somehow able to convince the world that somehow he of all people could be killed by an arrow to his leg."

A throat clearing came through.

"Number 4 is inconsequential at this point. He will be nothing but an elite compared to the others. He can be killed like everyone else especially now. I like the plan of pushing for higher conflicts. 3, put that into action.

I think a cultural theme would be good for this. Focus on the major powers. For Asia we will need some power, release the Russian necromancer. For Europe, I think we should release Morganna. I think it would be amusing to see an English legend let loose across the world. With Merlin and Arthur gone from this area of the multiverse it should be fun. Slam north america with the ripper. They don't have any legends really there, but the ripper would do nicely.

For South America let's send Mictlan. He has been wasting away for long enough. Australia....oh let's just send a couple bunyips. A classic." Number one said.

Number 3 shook her head.

"Something to say Number 3?" Number 1 asked.

"Rasputin, Bunyips, and the Ripper I can understand. Morganna will be super distracted. She hates Arthur to this day. She will leave straight for the Serpent Empire to try to kill him again. Mictlan....what safeguards do we have that he won't take a rift and go straight for Kukulkan in the royal lands? The last thing we need is personal attention from Ouroboros and the other Elder dragons." She said.

"I forgot about that feud." Number 1 said. "It makes sense since Kukulkan destroyed his feeding grounds and nearly destroyed him in the same move." Number 1 continued.

Number 2 spoke this time. "A solution perhaps. Gilgamesh. He has been content to exist in Lemuria beyond the ice wall. Perhaps we could entice him back over here to monitor Mictlan."

There was a snort of laughter.

"There is little chance of that. He loves the women of Atlantis and will be hard pressed to leave them." Number 3 said with a laugh.

"He can be enticed, besides making the intercontinental trip to the one next to Lemuria must get annoying. He has not been in the Eden lands since the flood. Once his kingdom was destroyed he didn't much care to remain here, but since the openings were here and the multiverse seals were placed here, he could definitely be made to come back now that he can gain power again from cores of monsters as they begin to push into the S rank as they were once long ago and as for Morganna, I know the green knight still lives he takes on different identities and lives with the general population. He should be gaining serious power back from his time with Arthur, have him keep her from escaping to the rifts." Number 2 clarified to the smug number 3.

"Then we have our plan. Number 3, push those users we have discussed. Number 2, you are responsible for Gilgamesh and I'll find the green knight. See that they keep a close eye of Mictlan and Morganna, but mostly the former. I cannot stress enough how much of a problem having Kukulkan return would be."

The screens went out.

- Meanwhile Imperial Palace -

A well dressed man in purple and silver prostrated himself before a massive throne with light blue aether swirling around obscuring the being who sat upon it.

"My Eternal Emperor, we have recieved a notification from the system that the seal on the land of Eden had been lifted. The rifts will stabilize again in 2 of our solar cycles."

There was silence in the black shimmering throne room that was speckled to look like a starry night over a glass-smooth watery surface.

"It is of no concern to me. The only reason for that world to exist was for the garden itself. It has been sealed off from all beings by command of the Ruler of Heaven Himself. The beings that were sealed there may be problematic when they come over. Monitor the comings and goings of that world and let me know if there are problems." Ouroboros said with a slow, deep, voice that seemed like a deep chested growl.

"Send an imperial knight and a legion with him to subjucate the planet and add it to the empire. We will figure out a ruling family later." He continued.

To the side of the throne room, someone became very excited about the news and left in a hurry to prepare for a trip to the new frontier.
