21 – (Season 1) Season champion ticket

Day 4

Jim was excited to practice all of the new skills that he obtained. First he experimented with mana domain. He noticed a 15% decrease in stats for anyone that was not Jim. He was still aways from perfecting a mana domain let alone awakening one. For a mana domain to show its strength, it must be paired with a elemental law to truly show its force. However, that was not the only way to strengthen your mana domain. Certain domains were not element related and focused more on environmental changes. Some players were able to change the landscape around them to their advantage such as metal, explosives… Jim was able to only activate a regular mana domain but was not able to add any laws or specialty domains. However, this was still a benefit as the mana domain was not specifically only useable by Jim. He noticed that since he unlocked the brain junctions all clones share the ability to create a mana domain.

Jim tested this by summoning Jake and Adam. All three people stood 24 feet from each other creating a triangle shape. Each person exuded a 12 feet circular mana domain; however, it was not a perfect circle and someone could attack just outside their range. As all three personalities walked closer to the middle, once they were within 10 feet of each other, the mana domains collapsed and merged into one large mana domain. It was now 50 feet wide. This doubled their original size from the 24 feet triangle coverage they started out with. Additionally, the domain penalty increased from 15% to 25% for all stats. This was an interesting idea they found out by luck.

After practicing the mana domain, Jim wanted to try using his new talent intuition. He had Jake and Adam attack him while seeing what intuition could do. Jim could see a couple of seconds into the future. He saw Adam swinging his sword down vertically and Jake was throwing a middle kick. Jim was able to see this 5 seconds before it actually occurred allowing him to step back to avoid both the vertical slash and middle kick. Jake and Adam was surprised to see this. After Jim got used to using his intuition, he wanted to try supersensitivity and hyposensitivity. First he closed his eyes to try hyposensitivity. All of his other senses were heightened which actually would synergize well if he didn’t have to move and just provide buffs to the team. Then he tried hypersensitivity by providing additional mana to his eyes. He could see the mana in the air. Even though he could already see the mana structure in the environment, using supersentivity allowed him to find weaknesses in the mana structure. For example, he found a spot in front of him where the mana in the air was unstable. He used his mana to snap a molecule in the air causing a stream of air to pass by him. This gave him numerous ideas for use for traps.

After practicing for hours a timer started counting down from 30 seconds. The system notified him that there was only 30 seconds left. Jim was not in a hurry and waited. This was an important moment as word got out in the future that if you did not pick any rewards within the allotted time, the system will give you a hidden reward that you would not normally be able to obtain.

You will be transported to a dueling arena. There will be a dueling opponent from a different galaxy and the winner of the fight will be rewarded a hidden reward.

As soon as Jim read this, he was brought to a dueling arena. Across from him stood a creature that he has never seen before.

Jim said “Is that an elf”

Suddenly the elf announced himself Hidden Cloud. Jim responded by announcing himself as Sera. Suddenly, an announcement was made that the fight will start in 5 seconds.

Both players entered their fighting stance. As soon as the bell rang both players started dashing towards each other. Hidden cloud activated a mana blade which shocked Jim. It took him an ancient legacy skill and his own techniques to create a mana blade but Hidden Cloud was able to use the mana blade as if he used it all his life. Jim activated his mana blade and both blades collided. Jim’s blade was losing as Hidden cloud mana blade was slowly cutting into his blade. Jim noticed this and loosened the grip on his mana blade to pull Hidden Cloud toward his off balance. As soon as Hidden Cloud stumbled, Jim delivered a middle kick to create some distance.

The elf was impressed and said “It is amazing that you have a mana blade. Only a few people in my clan have this ability at a young age”.

Jim was relieved as he thought all elves have the ability to create mana blade. He responded “I worked hard to create this skill by myself”

The elf was shocked that he created this skill. He has never heard of anyone creating this skill as it was usually taught by the elders. Hidden Cloud took note to remember the name Sera.

The elf said “If this is the extent of your abilities, I suggest your forfeit”

Jim responded “I suggest the same to you”

As soon as Jim said that, he created a mana blade with his own mana. Jim dashed again toward Hidden Cloud who was prepared to receive him.
