Day 3

Jim browsed the forums of Champion. Nothing interest was posted since yesterday. People started posting more videos about strategies to clear the Burning Chicken Raid. All the videos had the same issue, no one was able to go below 75% health for the boss. This was expected as the boss was the first boss of the game. Jim kept getting messages about getting exclusive meetings about his training videos that were posted earlier in the week. He ignored all of these messages and logged onto Champion.

As soon as Jim logged on, he summoned two clones and placed Adam and Jake egos into them. Their first plan of action was to disguise themselves as a chicken. They wanted to check the cave where all of the chickens slept in. They found a chicken nearby and killed it with a swift blow with the bone. After the bone absorbed the blood, chicken meat grew on the bone and everyone took a bite out of the chicken.

Soon after, all three bodies turned into a chicken. The three chickens started to walk towards the cave. There were a couple of chickens in the cave, but nothing was out of place. All three chickens seperated to search the cave. Other than nests made out of twigs, Jim and the others did not find anything.

Adam and Jake was able to find a separate part of the cave. They decided to check out the last part of the cave. As they were about to turn the corner, a flock of chickens blocked them. In their native language, they asked what Jim, Adam and Jake were doing there. Adam lied and said they left something here. The group of chickens said they can only enter the queen's chambers after bringing in a substantial offer of food. Out of curiosity, they asked what kind of food the queen prefers. The chicken bodyguards replied with “Stinky Bugs”.

Adam, Jim and Jake looked at each other and nodded in sync. They said they will return with the food. They left the cave and entered a different empty cave where they canceled the chicken transformation.

Adam said “Really, they want to eat stinky bugs”

Jake said “You should not judge other people Amithaba. But yes, eating bugs might be appealing to animals. If they wanted stinky bugs you should consider fermenting the bugs with beans. That would really make them stinky”

Jim said “That's not a bad idea”

Jim decided to try fermenting bugs in beans but then he thought about fertilization, what if he ferments the bugs in poop. He needed large quantities of poop. Jim asked the farmers in town if he could take some cow poop. The farmers didn't really care, they just said that he would have to collect it himself.

Jim wasn't aware, but not all farmers were npc. There were some players learning to farm. They couldnt believe that someone wanted to buy cow poop. They took some screenshots to post later. Jim was working under the hot sun making the poop smell worse. After collecting 20 garbage bags worth of poop, Jim stored the poop in his inventory. Now he needed the other ingredient, bugs.

Unfortunately, there were no vendors for bugs. He needed to collect bugs by hand. Jim took his sword and started hunting for bugs smashing their heads. Jim, Jake and Adam spent the whole day collecting bugs. Once they collected all the bugs, they distributed them between between the 20 bags of cow poop and stored them back into his inventory. Soon after, Jim logged off.

Day 4.

Blue Moon and her team were working constantly to search for groups of monsters to level up. She was hoping Jim is leveling up as well. She was dissappointed that he didnt join her group to level and train together.

Blue Moon said “Maybe next time, he will join us”.

Meanwhile Jim needed 5 days for the poop to ferment the bugs properly. While he waited, he went back to the training room. Instead of training his muscles, he thought of Blue Moon and her abilities. One of his junctions listed eyes as a pathway. Jim needed to think of a way to break that junction. The problem was mana already flowed through to his eyes. For Blue Moon, she had very little mana in her eyes, yet she was able to significantly pump mana to her eyes giving her additional abilities.

Jim said “what if I close my eyes”

Jim tried to close his eyes, but the light was still shining brightly in the training room to his eyes. He noticed that he couldn't cut off mana to his eyes.

Jim said “If I can't cut of my senses, I need to change my environment”

Jim left the training room and bought a long tube to breather air through. Jim summoned a clone to hold the tube line above water for air. Jim started swimming under a lake and look for a dark cave. Jim quickly found a cave. As he thought, the cave wasn't dark enough. He could feel his senses getting muddles but he could still tell his sense of distance.

He stopped after a few minutes and resurfaced. This wasn't working as well as he hoped. He went back to the practice arena and worked on strengthening his muscles. This went on for 3 more days.

Day 9

Jim went back to the chicken coup and transformed into a chicken.
