08 – (season 1) Secret Talent
As Jim looked at his profile, he saw the talent section split into 4 separate personalities. Each personality had their own talent profile. Five of his personalities were blacked out as they rarely ever interacted with Jim, Adam, Lucifer, or Michael.
Talent profile
Jim – Mana manipulation
Adam – Blood affinity
Jake – Buddist Affinity
Lucifer – Darkness affinitiy
Michael – Light affinity
Jim was surprised and impressed at the same time. His alter egos Adam and Jake have secret talents he has not heard of before. However, he has heard of Lucifer and Michael’s affinity. Light and Darkness are some of the major Elemental Laws of the world. They rank highly in terms of applicational use of skills. This is a great gain for Jim, however, lucifer and Michael’s personalities are in constant bickering at each other and would always cause headaches for Jim. Its probably better not to call on them until I reach tier 6.
From his memories, the first 4 years before the Olympics paved the way for players to be known throughout the world. Players would still gain fame after the 1st esport Olympic held by Champion, but they weren’t as frequent as they used to be. Therefore, having a strong foundation in the early stages of the game and monopolizing on the season end tournaments will probably have the biggest impact on the game.

As Jim thought more about what he had to do, his head was overwhelmed. Soon after Jim logged off and went to sleep.
In the morning, Jim logged on to Champion.
Day 4 traveling to Slime Kingdom
As Jim logged on, he didn’t get a chance to test his water sword wave concept. As soon as he logged on, he looked for a source of water. After killing more monsters, he found a small stream.
Jim started by first manipulating the water. He had trouble trying to directly hold onto water as it was continued to fall out of his hands. After practicing for a couple of hours, he was able to levitate a small stream of water and extend it to six feet.
Next, he combined the mana frequency in the air while coating it with a crescent water blade shape. No matter what he did, he was unable to hold the water shell and control the frequency of the blade.
“No wonder the sword wave is a tier 3 skill. Trying to replicate it without learning the active skill is a challenge.”
Maybe I should reverse the order. I should be able to use sticks and rocks to act as a medium and circulate my mana around it. This should be useful until I reach tier 3 or 4.
Jim practiced by grabbing a couple of rocks and throwing them at goblins. The rocks were imbued with his mana rotating in one direction. The rocks were able to piece the skin of the goblins easily. After throwing rocks three times, Jim noticed that half of his mana was already gone. He quickly found the issue and used the mana around him to move in a direction. Unfortunately he was only able to focus on three to four rocks maximum. If he used his own mana, he could only definitely throw a dozen rocks at a time, but it would consume a lot of mana.
Jim was able to use his own mana to spin in one direction on his sword for close combat and throw objects such as rocks for ranged attacks. He was unable to use the mana sword wave concept for now, but he wouldn’t give up. In fact, he enjoyed the challenge and different possibilities of using mana.
Before he realized it, Jim was already at level 10. The system notified him that he can change it class now. As expected, the ninja class was available and he chose the ninja class.
