14 – (Season 1) Searching for a blue chicken
After the battle ended, Blue Moon and her party came up to practice arena. Being impressed, Blue Moon asked Sera to join the raid party for Burning Chicken. After discussing the loot split, Sera asked for first rights to any loot item dropped. Blue Moon did not feel comfortable handing over priority rights to loot without a guarantee of winning the first kill for Burning Chicken.
Sera agreed that handing over first loot priority should go to the highest member that contributed to the raid.
Sera asked “Does anyone on your team have healing or buffing capabilities”
Confused, Blue Moon answered “No, we don’t have anyone with those capabilities. Carrot can use basic healing skills but no one on our team can provide buffs”.
Sera introduced Jake's clone. As soon as Jake sat down, he began chanting and a warm sensation blew over everyone like a gentle breeze. Everyone was surprised as this was almost a godly support character. The ability to heal and buff is amazing. Jim purposely did not tell them about increasing the buffs if he synced with Jake. He wanted to keep a hidden ace up his sleeve.
After showing confidence in grabbing the first kill, Blue Moon accepted Sera's condition for first rights to loot. After discussing the battle tactics, the only thing left was to level up. Blue Moon saw videos of teams wiping out at Burning Chicken raid. The main problem after having decent equipment was the average level of the party. Party levels averaged around 10-15 at this time and the raid requirements were suggested for party levels of 20+. The system recommended to have at least reach tier 1 at level 20 to have acceptable stats to have a chance of succeeding. Sera was still level 10 while Blue Moon's team was averaging around level 15.
Everyone agreed to meet back in 10 days when everyone should be around level 20 to attempt at the raid. As soon as everyone agreed, the system notification came and everyone logged off.

The next day, Jim logged onto Champion. He had a plan of what to do for the next 10 days. He needed to look for a blue chicken. People did not know this, but the first raid boss held significance that is crucial for later dungeons stages in champion.
Adam and Jake asked Jim why he needed a blue chicken. They were not aware, but phoenix's were nearly extinct and only one player in the future had a phoenix. Although he didn't disclose the strength of the phoenix, they nicknamed him the immortal phoenix. Very few videos were recorded of the immortal phoenix, but everyone agreed that thanks to the phoenix, killing him was close to impossible.
The only clue that was provided was that he brought a chicken into the raid and left with a phoenix. Rumors spread that he looked for a blue chicken but he couldn’t find one. Jim decided to train in the morning and attend the night market for chickens. After deciding on his 10 day schedule, he decided to visit the practice arena.
Jim decided that building the foundations of his body would serve him well for the future rather than just grinding for levels. While levels are important, honing your skills is how high level players advanced farther.
Jim arrived at the practice arena and stood in the middle of the arena. He had a vague idea to complete his first quest unblocking all of the junctions in his mana body. The system listed the following.

Jim didn’t mind experimenting on how to unlock the other 7 junctions but had an idea to start eyes, muscles and skin. Essentially, he wanted to try body reformation. As the muscle is under strain, muscle fibers would break and be reformed. Jim decided to call his clones to speed up training. One of the benefits of training as a ninja is that clones can assist you in training. While clones don’t normally retain the benefits of training, Jim’s clones are not normal clones. Because their brainwaves are connected through the benefits of brain junction, Jim receives the benefits from the clones. Jim summoned two clones and sent Adam and Jakes ego into both of them. Jake decided to meditate and focus on unlocking the heart junction as it seems like this might be best suited for Jake. Adam and Jim decided to spar with each other. They used a combination of aerobic and anaerobic exercises. As Adam and Jim were exercising Jake was praying and watching those two spar. He realized that after a 10 minute spar with each other, mana would flow from the environment to replenish their mana. Jake stopped praying and walked up to Adam and Jim. At first he thought that the mana was being drawn in from breathing so he told them to hold his breath. However, mana was still being replenished. He told them they could stop holding their breath.
Jake sat down and started praying providing a warm sensation that blew over Jim and Adam. This time he was focusing on where the mana was being drawn through. Jake saw that mana was being drawn through the skin. He could tell by following his own mana that was providing the buff was uniformilay absorbed through the skin. This made sense in some ways. Nutrients can enter and leave the skin. Mana must have similar properties that allow for this to happen.
