"Ha! Beautifully done." He said as he stared at the still water that appeared to be endless. "A true work of deception. Even I can agree."
"So this is the rumored Amazon island?" He asked himself. "I wonder how I shall get in."
He wondered how he could trespass into the world of the Amazonians, yet from where he stood, he couldn't see a visible island, or land, but he could sense it.
"After all my travels in this new world, new universe, new multiverse... This is where my journey has led me." Loki noted as he caressed his chin. "I hear that there are lots of women here. I wonder if their beauty rivals that of Earthlings."
"How shall I do this?" He anticipated his plan. "Mischievously, of course. Let me make myself their god."
---
"All done." Doctor Strange observed as the process of merging the conscious completed. "Why does he harbor resentment for my actions? He had done the same thing to me, not that I complained."
"I guess it's time to right his wrongs and really fit into this new world." He thought to himself. "But first, I have to defeat Lex and possess all those mystic artifacts. Then realize the Destiny of Prime."
He opened a portal back to where his fight with Lex had been. "I wonder how much time has passed since I was back here."
The sky was dark, and the night had set in. City lights glimmered from the distance as he levitated in the sky. The breeze was cold and gentle, but the coldness didn't bother him.
His chest heaved slowly as breathed in and out.
"Reconstruction." He cast a spell with the Eye of Agamotto, allowing him to project the events that had occured since he had left the area by rewinding the time.
The images showed his fight with Lex and his escape. Lex had then hesitated for a moment before flying towards the setting sun. The sky remained still after that, with insignificant incidents, such as birds flying across.
Doctor Strange fastened the projection.
"I thought the OmniSight Aegis would have immediately captured Lex into it's confines." He wondered as the mundane events around him hastened. "Could have my spell failed."
"My magic never fails." He reaffirmed. "I'm the true Master of the Mystic Arts."
"But what happened to the OmniSight Aegis?" He wondered.
He opened the minimap of the OmniSight Aegis. "OmniSight Aegis Giganto."
The map became a huge globe with a diameter equivalent of his height. But it was not the same map he had been used to observing from the quiet confines of my conscious.
"There is no magic barrier?" He wondered. "How so?"
He revolved the globe in all sort of ways as he searched for traces of the OmniSight Aegis.
"I had instructed it to confine Lex and the relics by minimizing its scope to this particular part of New York, acting as the barrier it was. What happened?" He was a bit perplexed. "It's nowhere to be seen. But that is really strong magic. It can't disappear just like that."
But little did he know what had actually happened. Since he was still deeply rooted to the Collective Conscious unknowingly, his magic had connected to it, and influenced the behavior of the OmniSight Aegis.
Suddenly a stray light like a comet shot through the giant globe, and he spotted it. But it wasn't coming from the globe, and he minimized the OmniSight Aegis Giganto. It was his earlier projection that was showing the comet passing.

He didn't know why, but at the back of his mind, he could hear three words as the light fell from the sky. "Relics, Power, Lex Luthor." (Collective Conscious)
What was that all about? The desire was seemingly growing more as the time and the comet passed.
Then all of a sudden, the light stopped just at the position Lex was before he had flown of. This was no ordinary comet. Comets don't stop in the sky.
Comets don't have a human shape.
Comets don't look around.
Comets don't sense magic and spot you hours after they had appeared.
Comets don't change the past by altering your time projection and moving closer to you like that with an curious look.
They don't reach their hand out, tearing through the fabric of time, and try to touch you.
They don't, touch you... They can't... They shouldn't!
Doctor Strange panicked a bit and hovered backwards. What was that? It could somehow interact with his display, but from the past?
It's form slowly began to grow out of the illusion, like a zombie taking a peak from your TV screen. You know better that to sit there and keep watching. A zombie apocalypse is imminent my guy, an you gotta react quickly. Find that go-bag with the supplies. You know where the axe and the baseball bat is, right? Even if they were family, you have to...
Ooopss... You never prepared! You should have believed.
Curious, but not wanting to see where this was going, Doctor Strange starting dispelling his reconstruction spell. But it wasn't working, and the "zombie" kept on peering and taking form outside the illusion.
But suddenly, a bigger diagram passed through the projection as Doctor Strange frantically battled against his magic. Had he opened the gates of hell or something?
The diagram projection that appeared was enormous, such that you couldn't make out what it was, and this seemed to distract the "zombie", giving Doctor Strange an opening to reclaim his control, and he shut down the Eye of Agamotto.
"A mystical threat that can tear through the fabric of time." He noted. "It seems that things are about to get interesting."
"Of course you had to be in a place like this." A female voice startled him from behind, but he instantly realized who it was.
"Kara Danvers." He said. "That's a catchy name."
Supergirl hovered just behind Doctor Strange with a curious look in her face.
"Why do you always have to be in the middle of bad situations?" She asked. "Can't you be a clearly defined good hero for once."
"Good and bad, that's just relative. No one can be the true judge of that." Doctor Strange replied. "What have I done this time?"
"Why do I get the feel that you are somehow involved in what's been happening to our powers?" She asked. "And that plane that was about to crash? I saw you projecting it in your... Mystical experiment. What are you up to?"
"So that is what it was? A plane." Doctor Strange replied. "And I'm guessing you saved it?"
"Yes. I was lucky that my magic came back to me in the nick of time." Supergirl said. "What are you up to?"
"Powers?" Doctor Strange wondered. "What do you mean? Did you somehow lose them or something?"
"Why are you acting so oblivious? I know you are involved somehow. I can feel it." She said. "Even though we need your help."
Doctor Strange's mind was racing for a bit. That dampening energy he had felt in the air a while back. Could it be?
"Did you somehow lose your powers?" He asked her.
"For several stretched moments, yes." She said after a brief thought period. He was genuinely unaware of that. But she couldn't dispell her thoughts of him completely. He was still untrustworthy.
"Are you sure it had nothing to do with the Nthirium crystal you took?" He asked.
"At first, we thought so, but then, it seemed to happen to other super heroes." She said. "The Nthirium crystal isn't that catastrophic."
"Anti-magic." Doctor Strange thought. This was still all new to him, and strange. That was a troubling subject, and it should be treated as a high-level mystical threat.
"Lex Luthor's plan might be reaching it's climax." He said to Supergirl. "He has more anti-magic artifacts, and he must have found a way to take away superhuman abilities using them."
There was a possibility in that, and Supergirl noted this.
"I will put an end to his scheme." Doctor Strange said. "That's a mystical threat I cannot let to continue existing."
He opened a portal as he said those words.
"Oh. How rude of me." He apologized, sort of. "What did you need help with?"
"The Nthirium crystal," Kara started. "Can it be used to dispell of Superman's comma situation?"
"Superman." Doctor Strange thought. "The guy from the explosion in Gotham and Razake's revered hero."
He still couldn't understand most of Razake's behavior. These were supposedly his heroes, an he didn't take the time to establish a particularly good rapport. And what was he really planning? Especially with the Ultimate Spell.
Doctor Strange closed the portal to the Sanctum and turned to face Kara again with a concerned look. "He is your cousin, right?"
"Yes." she answered while hiding her true emotions. She couldn't let herself breakdown.
"I think I can help." Doctor Strange said. "I can use anti-magic to remove the mystic energy coursing through his conscious."
