(Flap flap)
I flapped my cloak body and ejected from the loser's shoulders. First, it had taken me to absorb the energy shield that was surrounding me. The shield had been subduing my magic, making Felix unable to detect me.
I then used this energy to break the shield around me, and hover away as Lex aimed to execute Felix.
But I couldn't let that happen just yet. I needed Felix alive.
Hovering a little further from the dual, I started to amplify the energy pulsing through my threads. I could see Felix's face turn from that of fear to that of surprise, and then tinged with a glimpse of hope.
It was his lucky day anyway. I was about to save him.
Lex on the other hand was taking notice of the Cloak levitating all by itself a step away from him.
"Relic?" He thought to himself. "I will take it as soon as I'm done with this pathetic excuse of a sorcerer."
His left hand was holding Felix by the neck, and he began to lift his right hand to land a devastating attack. He didn't expect me to be a threat.
But my attack was ready, and I intended for it to be a one shot - no second chances. I didn't want to fight against Lex and his suit, not fully knowing what my limitations as a Cloak were.
Just as his palm unfolded on Felix's face, I unleashed my mystic attack.
First, I condensed the energy flowing through my threads and concentrated it to a singular area, producing an aura of Eldritch energy before me that formed a hand with the palm unfolded.
Lex and Felix took notice of this instantly, as the transformation wasn't subtle. Before them levitated a cloak with a magic palm facing towards them.
Attempting to capture Lex using Crimson Bands, or throwing a projectile towards him would be futile. That was because he could easily block the attack using anti-magic. I had to be clever.
Guiding my fingers to form a circle, I traced more Eldritch energy to form an oval shape and unfolded my palm again, pushing the circle to where the two "sorcerers" stood.
I then focused my thoughts to the form of the circle as it traveled towards Lex. Lex, on seeing this, unleashed his attack on Felix, sending him flying away to a corner of the room. His attack was however not fatal, since he had disrupted the magnitude of his attack so as to counter my magic.
Now was my chance to truly execute my plan. As the Eldritch ring projected towards him, I split it into two, and another headed for Felix, who was landing on the wall.
The form of both rings grew larger in a matter of milliseconds, as Lex erected his anti-magic barrier. I just had to hold this a little longer until my plan actually worked.
The rings then formed portals, both to different places, as they reached their maximum diameter. The ring tracing towards Felix quickly absorbed his form into the portal before he could react. It also absorbed a circular chunk of the wall before it closed, leaving traces of Eldritch energy.
But as for Lex, the anti-magic barrier he had erected managed to dissipate my magic, and it vanished with a green flare. But I had achieved my goal, and Felix would be in the confines of a special chamber in the Sanctum, where I could get to him without a hassle. That way, I would easily retrieve the Scroll of Dimensions (maybe through torture if he didn't take the easy road).

"So, you can do magic, huh?" Lex asked as he raised his eyebrow. "I wonder how that works."
I retracted my Eldritch arm slowly as I thought of my next move. Lex had already accomplished what I required him to do. He had gathered lots of Relics from this DC Earth, and among them could be those invaluable to me - the Scrolls of OAA.
I didn't completely understand what his grand schemes were, because other than stealing, he hadn't launched any world threatening attack. But he was clearly up to something.
I had heard him say that he would be the most powerful person. That was not far from his usual villain schemes, but now that he had elevated this far in the mystics, I couldn't help but wonder if he would be successful.
Nevertheless, he had become a mystical threat, and this was the best time to put him down. Only problem was, I was the Cloak of Levitation, not certain if I could battle against anti-magic.
But I could open portals. Which meant that I could open one to the compound where I had left Doctor Strange. Hopefully, he would have unlocked his chakra again and we could reunite, and defeat Lex Luthor.
That was better than engaging in a vain fight with an anti-magic user.
Quickly, I moved aside, effectively dodging Lex's energy beam that he had unleashed towards me. Using my Eldritch arm, I guided my arm to create a portal that opened to the grounds next to the hospital building. All it took was one swirling motion, and the portal formed.
But he was not there, although I could see faint spots of blood on the grass. Could someone have hurt him?
As I thought about this, I momentarily let my guard down, and Lex's attack caught me off guard. He grabbed me with an enormous magic hand and pulled me towards him. I could feel traces of both magic and anti-magic in the hand as I flapped to get out. His grip was tight.
But my Eldritch arm wasn't caught by this, since it was energy itself after all, and I could use it to let my self go.
I quickly created a projection of a blade and started it's rotation above the central area of Lex's gigantic arm. It's tip was laced with my magic, and it's rotation was circular and fast.
I then guided it with my arm towards Lex's arm, ready to cut through it and disrupt energy flow by introducing foreign energy into the beam. This foreign energy would create impurity in the projection, hence disconnecting the energy that led towards the wrist and palm, and releasing me.
Who said you can't cut through magic?
As the blade lowered, energies collided as it came into contact with the outer surface. Sparks formed as the blade rotated, and it looked as though it was cutting through iron or a metal, instead of energy.
"Could it be that..." I thought to myself, wondering why the blade wasn't easily penetrating.
"Clever to try and corrupt my my energy." Lex said as he recognized my intention. "But magic can't cut through anti-magic, can it?"
Lex's enormous arm was cloaked by a membrane of anti-magic, protecting it from external attacks. After effortlessly trying to penetrate, the blade finally gave in as the magic faded. It's revolutions receded and it fell down with a thud.
"You are an interesting cloak." He said. "I don't mind having in my collection."
Lex then used his free hand to target me, and a compartment mechanism opened on the palm. A net then shot from the compartment and came hurtling towards me as his enormous hand projection faded.
The net was undoubtedly laced with anti-magic, meant to disable my magic abilities immediately it hit me. While I was sure anti-magic couldn't affected me, physical immobility was still possible.
If the net was laced with anti-magic, I couldn't use magic to cut through it with magic. I would be rendered helpless, but I could still use magic outside the net to defend myself.
This fight would be easier and faster if only I had a human body. I needed to find my body. I needed to find Doctor Strange.
My first thought was to leave the Cloak of Levitation, but I didn't know how to block it's chakra. There was also no telling what could happen to it if it was left in the hands of Lex Luthor, and how fast he could drain it's energy.
I could create a portal, but I didn't know where Doctor Strange had gone. I didn't also want to lose sight of Lex and the relics.
So I chose the easiest option, if it was even possible, before the net trapped me. Astral Projection.
Could the Cloak of Levitation go to the Astral Plane all by itself simply because it was sentient and could do magic? There was only one way to find out. In the astral state, time would slow down and I would find Doctor Strange using the Collective Consciousness.
In the nick of time, I managed to thrust my body into the astral plane as the sentient Prime Cloak.
In the astral plane, I had learnt about the collective consciousness. A vast network of interconnected thoughts throughout the multiverse. All sorts of secret thoughts could be found here. The desire to know more about my destiny had led me to horne my skills of navigating the collective consciousness. I would find Doctor Strange easily, through his thoughts.
