As we stepped through the portal back to the outskirts of Greenpoint, I felt the magical aura of Zatara's top hat enveloping me.

It was as if a reservoir of energy that had been locked within me was being beckoned to unlock, and I could sense the depths of my own power surging within me.

The exhaustion I had felt moments ago began to dissipate, replaced by a newfound vigor, a sense of calmness harmonizing within me.

Aware of this, I transmuted the hat to something more convenient and in line with my fashion - an exquisite pendant.

The pendant bore an R symbol, intricately engraved and encrusted with mystical gems. It effortlessly melded with my tunic, attaching itself to the breast area just below the Eye of Agamotto.

Zatanna led the way, her steps determined as she followed the residual traces of the portal's energy. The skies above us darkened as ominous clouds gathered, a reflection of the impending threat.

I couldn't help but wonder who it could be this time, a tinge of fear steering into my being, as I speculated on who he was.

In the distance, we saw a towering figure gazing and watching the environment around him mesmerized. Even from a far, I recognized him, it was none other than Thanos, the Mad Titan, known for his insatiable hunger for power and his relentless pursuit of the Infinity Stones.

His towering frame, adorned with the infamous Infinity Gauntlet, sent shivers down my spine, realizing that I bore what he had come for. My suspicious had been confirmed.

As we approached him, Thanos turned to face us with a malevolent grin. His eyes, filled with cosmic knowledge that thirsted for more, locked onto me, and I could feel the weight of his gaze.

It was a gaze that I knew had witnessed the birth and destruction of countless galaxies.

"Finally," Thanos boomed, his voice echoing with an eerie calmness. "The missing piece; the Time Stone. Give it willingly or meet your doom sorcerer."

I squared my shoulders, the pendant firm in my chest, its magic amplifying my resolve. "Thanos, I have glimpsed into the future, and I know that there is only one way that this ends in all the infinite possibilities. This is where you meet your end."

Zatanna, too, took her stance, ready to defend her home. "You're a threat, one that must be curbed."

Thanos merely chuckled, and with a casual flick of his gauntlet-clad hand, he summoned a swirling vortex of energy. It surged forward, tearing through the ground and sending shockwaves in all directions.

I reacted swiftly, conjuring a barrier of mystical energy to shield us from the devastating force of the attack. The ground quaked beneath us, but the barrier held.

The weariness I had felt now waned off as I felt myself draw into unchartered dimensions, the power inside of me building up and intensifying.

Was it the adrenaline? I could feel myself literally grow stronger as I prepared to battle and destroy the Mad Titan.

It was as if the pendant was connecting me to some new source of power, a power that made my muscles contract involuntarily.

Drawing upon the depths of this power, I channeled the energy within the pendant, feeling it surge through me like a torrential river.

The R symbol on the pendant glowed brilliantly, resonating with the mystical gems encrusted within it. It was a fusion of magic unknown that my intuition told me I could control and manipulate.

There was no playing when it came to Thanos, and I had to defeat him as soon as possible before he wiped half of the population away, myself included.

As the dust settled, I could see the remaining members of the Justice League; Wonder Woman and the Flash, racing towards the scene.

Manhunter had indeed alerted them to the imminent danger.

"Doctor Strange, Zatanna, need a hand?" Wonder Woman called out as she landed gracefully beside us, her golden lasso at the ready.

The Flash stood beside her, vibrating with anticipation. "We're here to help."

But I didn't acknowledge their presence. It was all becoming clear in my mind as energy harmonized within me. The portals made sense and the Doctor Strange in my conscious was right.

I hadn't been drawing the energy to create magic from the dimensions in this universe yet. I was still deeply drawing it from the Marvel Multiverse, and that caused the rifts to appear from strong magic regions in Marvel, into a strong magic region in DC - Greenpoint.

I was the cause of all this madness, and I needed to fix it and stop Thanos from executing his plan.

The energy within me now felt peaceful as if one with me, a feeling wonderful and glorious. The energy went even further to glimmer in my eyes, and crackle through my fingertips.

Channeling the hat of Zatara had connected me to the magic of this universe, and I was ready to show the Titan just who was the boss.

With a furious growl, Thanos lunged forward, his massive form charging towards us. The battle had begun in earnest.

Now more than ever, he wanted the Time Stone.

I unleashed a barrage of mystic bolts, each one guided by the precision of my newfound power. They struck Thanos, forcing him to stumble back, but he seemed undeterred.

Zatanna was about to chant her incantations, but I stopped her with a wave of my hand - disrupting her magic, guaranteeing her that I would take care of this.

Wonder Woman, The Flash and Manhunter stepped aside as I advanced towards Thanos, acknowledging that this was my battle alone.

Thanos swung his gauntlet, attempting to crush me under the weight of reality-warping power, but I held against it with a mystical hand I conjured midair.

I advanced further towards him as he tried his best to resist the formidable hand in the air.

Time seemed to slow as I confronted Thanos.

With a flick of my wrist, I summoned the Winds of Watoomb, creating a cyclone that surrounded him.

The winds grew stronger and tighter, lifting the Mad Titan off his feet and suspending him in mid-air.

I was just getting started. With a thought, I extended my hand, and a torrent of mystical flames erupted from my palm, encasing Thanos in a blazing inferno.

His once-confident grin turned into a grimace of agony as the flames burned hotter and brighter.

The pendant on my chest connected my magic further, improving my control over the elements. I clenched my fist, and the very ground beneath Thanos transformed into a malleable substance, like quicksand.

He struggled to free himself, sinking deeper into the shifting earth with every futile effort.

As the cyclone of winds continued to swirl around him, I focused my energy on the Infinity Gauntlet. With a concentrated burst of magical force, I began to separate each of the Infinity Stones from the gauntlet, one by one.

The Power Stone, glowing with a vibrant purple hue, floated before me. With a mere thought, I contained its destructive power, turning it into a harmless, pulsating orb of energy.

I then moved on to the other stones, effortlessly stripping them from the gauntlet.

The Reality Stone, the Space Stone, the Mind Stone, and the Soul Stone all succumbed to my newfound mastery over magic.

They circled me like obedient fireflies, their immense power now under my command.

With a flick of my fingers, I created an intricate mystical cage, each bar forged from the energy of the Infinity Stones.

Thanos, still trapped within the swirling cyclone and sinking earth, watched in helpless frustration as I sealed each stone within its own cell, rendering them powerless.

But I wasn't done yet. With the power of the Time Stone now at my disposal, I rewound time around Thanos, causing him to relive the pain and torment of the flames and the sinking earth over and over again.

It was a never-ending cycle of agony that left him writhing in despair. Memories of despair filling me as I connected to the fictional memories of those who had suffered his wrath.

I raised my hands to the heavens. The very fabric of reality itself seemed to ripple and shift in response. I summoned the combined might of all the mystical forces I could access in this universe.

With a colossal explosion of energy, the mystical cage containing the Infinity Stones expanded and imploded in a dazzling display of power. The stones shattered into countless fragments, their cosmic energies dispersing into the ether.

Thanos, now freed from the cyclone and the sinking earth, plummeted to the ground, weakened and defeated.

The Mad Titan's once-mighty gauntlet lay broken and useless.

I descended from the sky, my form radiating with the brilliance of powerful and the combined energies of the shattered stones. I stood before Thanos, my eyes ablaze with determination.

"Your quest for power ends here, Thanos," I declared, my voice resonating with the authority of a cosmic force. "You will never threaten any universe again."

I placed my hands on his head and channeled all the energy I possessed to his form.

"Feel true power!" I commanded as a blinding light encased us.

He screamed, agonized at the much power that flowed through his body. He couldn't contain it.

As the blinding light cleared, Thanos was nowhere to be seen, his form having dissipated into nothingness.

The Justice League, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Manhunter, and, Zatanna, watched in awe as I dismantled the threat of Thanos and the Stones, their expressions a mix of awe and fear.

They had witnessed the true depths of my power.

As the skies cleared, I knew that I had finally began my journey to becoming a Prime Sorcerer.

The battle against Thanos had been won, and the universe was safe once more, thanks to the newfound depths of power I had unlocked.
