In the following days, I spent my time trying to discern the scroll that had appeared in the astral plane, but the effect was the same every time. I was suddenly pulled back to my body if I tried to touch it.
But that only made me more relentless.
I had known that to master the scroll meant to gain the power to travel across dimensions and time, something I had told Zatanna.
But the scroll itself seemed to bar me on this path, and so I spent a lot of time in the library reading books to acquire more knowledge, as I tried to interpret the symbols that had appeared to me in the astral plane.
With my recently acquired laptop in play, I compared this knowledge to what I already knew, as I kept on organizing.
With the realization of the power I now possessed, I had continued working on the Ultimate Spell and the barrier surrounding Greenpoint.
While the immediate mystical threats from Marvel had ceased, there were more threats to deal with in DC, and my role as the master of the mystic arts still had to prevail.
Destiny had it that I exist in DC for a reason, but that didn't mean I would sideline myself from executing my role as a defender against mystical threats. I would play my part in defending this new world, and that began with the barrier.
My vision to project the barrier around the globe still reigned. Now more than ever, I desired to complete it because it would help me to easily identify threats.
Moreover, it would enable me to find the location of powerful relics, including the axioms.
The Barrier would be my mystical map, allowing me to notice all the magic present in this DC Earth.
I also desired to make this Sanctum a place where I was familiar with. That meant recruiting apprentices to learn the mystics and defend against threats, and, collecting more knowledge and artifacts.
Zatanna had traveled from Greenpoint for a while, in a quest to seek more knowledge from her father. She had left me "in charge" of this Sanctum to protect the ancient scroll, as I mastered it.
Up to this point, no one had attempted to break into the Greenpoint Sanctum. But I knew clearly enough the threat I would face.
The axiom of dimensions had been used to trap Felix Faust in another dimension, and there was no doubt that he would be coming for it, as he sought to reclaim his lost power.
Other sorcerers who had suffered it's wrath would too be coming, and I had to be ready, and master its power as quickly as I could.
(Afternoon)
In meditation, I levitated in a lotus position in a peaceful trance, my expression calm and harmonious energy radiating from me.
The Cloak of Levitation was still wrapped around me, and the Eye of Agamotto; the two objects that connected me to my origin.

While my form was peaceful, my mind was as busy as a bee. I was thinking about how I would finally master the scrolls, and contemplating what the other scrolls were about.
I had spent the morning reading through ancient text and a bit of combat training to refine my skills and keep my body active. The illusions I had conjured to spur with me were however no match for my expertise.
Fewer people came into the Sanctum, in Zatanna's absence. They would briefly meditate and walk out as if barely noticing the invitations I had set around the whole Sanctum.
They were invitations beckoning them to join in as students of the mystic arts and learn the trade. But these invitations didn't seem to do the trick.
I would later find a better way of convincing them.
I had spent an hour of meditation in the Mystic Focus, feeling the vibrant magical energy flowing through me. It was like tiny knots in mystic threads that pulsated gently through my body, akin to a cool gentle breeze blowing through my being.
I had finally come to peace, and was ready to achieve a grand magical feat.
I rose from my lotus position and levitated out of the Sanctum, and up to the roof of the Townhouse. The roof was a flat expanse, covered in weathered red tiles that had seen many years of wear.
On this sunny afternoon, the tiles were warm to the touch, radiating heat. It offered a commanding view of the surrounding houses in Greenpoint.
The houses nearby were a mix of architectural styles, ranging from Victorian-era homes with ornate details to more modern, minimalist designs.
The streets below were lined with old trees, their branches providing pockets of shade and shelter to the people walking by.
I could feel a gentle breeze ruffling my tunic, carrying with it the faint scent of nearby flowers. The sunlight bathed the scene in a warm, golden glow, creating a serene atmosphere fit for my mystical endeavors.
The moment had arrived to expand the protective barrier I had envisioned to encircle the entire globe.
With a deep breath, I extended my arms outwards before me and entered a state of deep concentration. I tapped into the energies flowing within and around me, drawing upon the ancient spells and incantations I had mastered over the years.
With the amount of power flowing within me, all I needed to do was to focus my will and the barrier would heed.
I focused my will at gathering all the energy I needed within me, careful not to cause another cataclysmic event. This was more of limiting myself to the energy I could gather.
The symbols and sigils etched into the Eye of Agamotto shimmered and danced in response to my willpower, aligning with the cosmic forces that governed this reality.
The sunlight intensified, casting a brilliant halo around me as I continued to channel my energy. The barrier, which had once protected only Greenpoint, would now serve as a shield for the entire world, and as my map of the mystics.
The energy gathered within me, I directed it towards the barrier. It surged outward from me, a brilliant, iridescent wave that expanded rapidly, encompassing the globe.
The barrier was no longer limited to Greenpoint; it was now a worldwide phenomenon, a barrier of protection against mystical threats.
I could feel the barrier extending its influence across the Earth, creating an invisible shield that would safeguard against malevolent magic and dimensional breaches.
It connected with ley lines and mystical nexuses, becoming an integral part of the planet's mystic tapestry.
Zatanna had told me that she had sensed the barrier in Greenpoint and I knew that it was imperative to conceal its presence from the watchful eyes of other sorcerers.
Drawing upon my deep knowledge of ancient spells, I began to weave a complex cloaking enchantment. This enchantment would shroud the barrier in layers of mystical obfuscation, making it nearly impossible for other sorcerers to detect or perceive its true nature.
This time, I chanted incantations, my voice resonating with power, as I wove the magical threads together.
"By the Shades of Seraphim, I cloak thee from sight."
The barrier became veiled in a shimmering illusion, appearing to the mystical senses of others as nothing more than a mundane energy field, easily dismissed as insignificant.
Satisfied with my work, I stepped back and surveyed the scene. The barrier now stretched across the Earth, concealed from prying eyes. It was a momentous achievement.
With a focused thought, I created an illusionary globe, hovering before me. Its surface shimmered with intricate patterns of mystical energy, akin to veins of magic crisscrossing the globe. These were the ley lines and nexuses that I had tapped into, now visualized for me to explore.
The globe displayed an array of glowing markers scattered across the world. Each marker represented a point of interest, a mystical hotspot, or a powerful relic.
Some moved around while others remained still. They pulsed with different colors, indicating the nature and potency of the magic present at each location.
As I examined the globe, I noticed a cluster of vibrant blue markers in the heart of Gotham City. These were undoubtedly related to the presence of powerful artifacts and mystical anomalies within the city.
My attention shifted to the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. There, amidst the dark, hidden depths, a series of shimmering green markers appeared. These markers represented the legendary underwater city of Atlantis, a place of immense mystical significance.
The markers pulsed with an ancient energy, signifying the presence of powerful artifacts and untapped magical potential beneath the ocean's surface.
I extended my consciousness into the globe, allowing me to zoom in on specific locations. This mystical map provided me with real-time insights into the ebb and flow of magical energies, alerting me to any disturbances or anomalies that required my attention.
With this newfound tool at my disposal, I could not only defend against mystical threats but also proactively seek out sources of power and wisdom to aid my destiny.
But I knew that with great power came great responsibility. The barrier was now a global safeguard, and it was my duty to maintain its integrity and ensure that it remained hidden, while protecting it's three major power houses.
