Alright guys, here is your next chapter! Enjoy!
EDIT: All grammatical errors and weird sentences fixed and replaced. I've also changed the gender of the "martial demon" to female. Reason will be explained later.

Feng Yun opened his eyes groggily as he struggled to wake up from his slumber. He sat up and gazed at his surroundings with wide eyes.
'How did I end up here.'
Feng Yun was in a endless amount of space, very similar to the Universal Bindings cultivation space that he trained in. The difference was that there were no celestial bodies or stars to illuminate the universe. It was a bottomless Void and seemed to swallow any light there was. All around him were small vortexes that swirled about.
There had to be at least several thousand of them. He payed attention to two in particular. One of them was the color of blood and Feng Yun could hear howls of anger, much like the Five tailed Blood Ripper Fox he fought. The second one was black with some green portions and gave off loud grunts. This sounded eerily familiar to him. It was exactly the same as the ogre that he fought just a few moments ago.
A few moments ago? What happened a few moments ago? Feng Yun pondered for a moment before remembering. He had fought the Twelve eyed ogre and killed it absorbing it's beast essence. He allocated it towards his Manual and opened the book to see what had changed. He recalled having heard a voice and had fallen unconscious directly after. A voice? Where had it come from? Who was it?
"Boy those are all valid questions but the I can only take a few at a time."
A voice came from behind Feng Yun. He was shocked to realize it was the exact same voice that had called out to him when he opened the manual. He turned around and met face to face with a large man. Well, a man wouldn't be accurate. He was three meters tall, much taller than the ogre and had a pair of horns curved upwards. He wore a large blood red jacket that stretched down to his knees and held a scepter that gave off an immense pressure that came from a stone embedded within it. He looked like the personification of the demon king. However, at this moment, he appeared to be smiling at Feng Yun with an interested gaze. In response to this, Feng Yun raised his eyebrows while asking a question.
"I assume you're the Prison Warden?"
"Correct, young master. I am indeed the Prison Warden of the Void Universal Manual. It is an honor to meet you, young master. I assume you have a lot of questions." He had a very gentle voice contrary to his fiendish appearance.
"Yeah, I have quite the questions. First though, why do you call me young master, Warden?" Feng Yun was curious to this.
"Young master? Isn't it obvious? You have Master's blood in you? How could you not know unless you---" Warden stopped short. His expression became grave as he merely stared at nothing. Feng Yun was confused? Blood? What does that have to do with anything? Who is "Master"? He was about to question Warden when suddenly he spoke.
"Yes...yes I understand Master. I shall not tell him.. yes I know. Should I let him access the...No? Okay master"
Warden appeared to be communicating with someone but Feng Yun was unable to tell who. Warden went back to normal and acted as if nothing happened. He smiled and gestured for Feng Yun to choose a question. Feng Yun slightly frowned at the obvious misdirection but he didn't want to be impolite so he did.
"Why are you called... the Prison Warden?" Feng Yun was wondering why even though he had pieced together the true use behind the Manual.
"Hmmm..why am I a Warden eh? Well, boy you should have already figured some of it out but this place is a prison. It seals the souls of demonic beasts and humans alike and traps them here keeping them from undergoing the cycle of reincarnation. I'm the guy that watches over it in the Manual."
"But why would there be a need for something like this?" Feng Yun didn't understand what a prison would be for.
"Well, I can't specify the details, but a long time ago, there was a huge calamity in the Realm of Sovereigns. A martial expert went raging and killed millions of sovereigns in a few hours. This person caused an uproar through the whole sovereign realm and eventually, the higher ups came to take care of her. It was a large battle but the higher ups eventually sealed the martial demon in a prison. They could not kill her so they made this prison for that demon."
"So, the sealed soul of a martial demon is within the prison. Why the hell would I be given it then?" Feng Yun was quite frightened. If that thing was let loose, then it wouldn't just be him that would be killed. The whole entire continent and more would burn. Feng Yun shivered at the thought.
"Haha. See, the demon's soul is currently loosening bit by bit. Perhaps they were hoping you would seal it once it reawakens. Of course, this will be in a long time."
"Why couldn't they just reseal it themselves? They did it before."
"The first time they sealed it, the technique took away too much of their power and although they regained most of it later, the technique cannot be used twice by the same users. Basically, they saw your talent and put you in charge."
"You've got to be freaking kidding me. They're just a bunch of lazy shitbags that don't care about it. Well, at least it will be quite some time until it recovers. But is that it? There is no other special feature to this manual?"
"Hmm. Of course there is! This thing isn't merely a prison. The souls that you trap down here, if refined, will be able to be devoured by your spirits and strengthen their overall power. However, your spirits are all extremely high potential spirits. They require a lot of souls to make a significant rise in power. You can also use the souls to be refined into elixirs or pills that can help with many things. For example, this Five tailed Blood Ripper Fox.
It's soul is not particularly powerful. However, it's unique characteristics can be formed into a very useful pill."

Warden stretched out his hand and a vortex appeared. He put his arm inside and pulled out a red, flaming orb. He then placed some of his qi into the orb and it shrunk and spun around rapidly until it was the size of a small pill. It was very small but Feng Yun could feel some form of intensity. The manual could be used as a refinement system!
"This pill is quite special but isn't too useful. When consumed, it gives you complete fire immunity and ability for five minutes before the user suffers the backlash. If the user is at the Tempered Body Realm then the effects will be stronger. If you use it, you'll probably find yourself unable to circulate your qi flow for a few weeks."
"Wow! So it can turn even the weakest of beasts into a pill that can be efficiently used. But if it's already this useful, what's the need for spirit abilities." Feng Yun didn't know why spirit abilities were needed for a manual that already had such useful properties.
"You're correct. There is no need for spirit abilities. Which is why there are none. This manual isn't only useful for pill manufacturing. That is the property that you gain upon cultivating to the Tempered Body realm. Each time you break into a new realm you'll gain access to a new area of the prison. Aside from this condition, the area will reveal itself to you within the realm that you have broken through. What I mean is that it can reveal itself to you anytime in the range of the first to ninth layers of the realm."
"Another area? Meaning there are more than one area for doing things?" Feng Yun raised his eyebrows.
"Boy there are things that you lesser beings cannot even imagine much less comprehend that are in this book. Currently, you are not worthy enough to know about the wonders and terrifying capacity of this book but when you reach an extremely high level of power, you will naturally be exposed to the full secrets."
Feng Yun sucked in a huge breath. He looked forward to the time when he would be able to access these parts. His beautiful eyes held a firm resolution that seemed to be unwavering even if subjected to despair. He would become stronger. Stronger than anyone in the vast multiverse. The main reason that he had died in his previous life was due to him being at the top of the food chain there and becoming bored. But here, that didn't serve shit. A mere Xiantian realm cultivator could kill him even if he was in his peak stage in his previous self's body.
The Warden inwardly sighed upon seeing this. He...He really is like Master. Master never told me just exactly what this child meant to him but he values him highly. I better not screw up and get myself in trouble when talking to this kid. Still, he is very admirable.
Feng Yun had no idea what the Warden was thinking about and after a period of thinking, he asked the Warden.
"Just what exactly are you anyway? You give off an aura of endless power and it is on a similar level no. ...far beyond Yama's power. To have this much strength and be subjected to the treatment of guarding the book. Who is powerful enough to make you do this?"
"Hahaha...boy, the Heavens are large. It is not that hard to find someone stronger than Yama. He may be the king of death and reincarnation but to be honest, he is only a mid-tier sovereign. However, as for me. I'm not allowed to divulge information about who put me here to you, but with your talent, it should be very fast for you to go see him."
Feng Yun nodded his head and didn't pursue the matter. He was still processing some of the information.
"So...I don't need to collect spirit abilities at all. I only need to kill or weaken demonic beasts and absorb their beast essence and they will be trapped within the Void Universal Manual?"
"Pretty much. But as you gain new areas, the currency for using them will change as well so don't get too hung up on demonic beasts." The Warden said ominously. Feng Yun nodded his head back.
"One more thing before I leave. Do you know the identities of the other three spirits in my possession that are locked within my body?" Feng Yun had been trying to awaken them for a long time but they had always rejected him. The Warden looked at Feng Yun in deep concentration and slightly frowned. He spoke in a slightly deeper voice.
"I've seen two of them. They are both...things that shouldn't even exist anymore. And the last one hm? To tell you the truth, I'm unable to see through the identity of it. It's like its shrouded in a misty fog. Frankly, that scares me."
"Can you tell me what they are?"
"Sorry, wish I could but it's forbidden and classified. You wouldn't understand what they were even if I told you. Master says not to tell so I can't!"
Feng Yun was completely exasperated at this point.
"Whoever your son of a bitch master is, I must give him an earful once I've gotten powerful enough."
The Warden merely laughed and made a farewell gesture. Feng Yun returned it to him by cupping his hands and lightly bowing.
"Thank you for taking the time to explain the manual to me, Warden." He truly meant it. He had gained a lot from this tribulation.
"Haha. Young master. We're going to be helping each other out a lot more so lets get used to it. Time's up. I must send you off now."
"Goodbye Warden," Feng Yun said and his black hair began to flutter about. His eyes flashed and his cloak glowed with a golden light. Then, he disappeared leaving only particles.
"A martial demon eh master? That's a little too cruel, even for you. Yes yes, I get it I get it. Still, come up with a less hurtful lie than something like that. After all, when he finds out, first person he'll be ticked off with is me. Then he'll go to you. Oh man, I'll be shitting my pants when that happens." Warden seemed to be communicating with his Master once more.
"Still, are you sure that he has THAT bloodline? If he lives through these trials, things might get a little shaken up in the Realm of Sovereigns when he finally enters."
