Dai Tian's Proclamation

Dai Tian's Proclamation

Hey guys, another chapter brought to you by your author. I made some time to do this as I am free of tests and other crap like that so...yay! Anyways, I was looking through all of the reviews that aren't very impressive, by far, but someone questioned the harem tag. I thought to myself, that's a pretty good point. I AM developing the romance rather slowly and there hasn't been another female heroine introduced yet besides Xia Qing. But I ask that you guys be a bit patient. There have been a few ideas sitting in my head for a long time but it has required certain scenarios to be set up in order to apply them. Those won't be applied for a while. However, with Feng Yun's progression of strength and my prolonging the story, the next female heroine may appear in not too long but not too short of a time, I'm guessing 50+ chapters. Enjoy!

Please suggest errors so that I can edit them if you find them. Thanks!

Far away from Feng Yun and Xia Qing's position, a bright, middle aged man sat in his chair, his hands pushing up his chin as he pondered something to himself. The man had lengthy black hair and a fair complexion that reflected some handsomeness. He seemed to be edgy as his other hand tapped on the desk in front of him. His strained eyes would not stop shifting uncomfortably as he waited....and waited.

Soon, a knock came on the door to the man's room, subtle and quiet. However, the man in the chair heard it well and his eyes shifted upwards to look at the door.

"Come in."

The door opened and a servant dressed in blue robes came in. The servant wasn't that tall and had a respectful disposition in front of the man before him. The servant immediately bowed down relaying the information that he had just received.

"Master, I have some important information regarding the whereabouts of the Young Master." Upon hearing this, the man in the chair stood up with an excited expression on his face. It was clear at this point that the man was Feng Luo.

"Really? Where? Where is he? Where is my son, Feng Yun?" The servant hastily took out a scroll and handed it to Feng Luo. The man opened it up quickly and read the contents. Throughout the entire time of him reading, the smiles on his face never stopped growing wider and wider. Soon, it grew to the point where he was laughing. The servant bowing beneath him was very confused, but decided not to think of it any longer.

"Haha, good good. My son truly is an exceptional person. 'Killing six elders whose cultivation is three levels higher than his own, gaining the recognition of a peerless Tyrant Realm cultivator and displaying his world shaking talent.' Haha, son, you have truly made your father proud." Feng Luo's eyes turned very warm as he thought of the son who he had raised since birth.

"I was originally worried that you wouldn't be able to survive by yourself in the unknown world, but you seem to have done splendidly, even garnering the attention of the legendary Bloodfiend Red Sun! I wanted to send a protector for you, but indeed that would have made your progress worse."

"Even if I were to die here, I wouldn't have any regrets! Keep moving son, keep advancing. No one can stop you!" Feng Luo looked out the window of his room, satisfaction present on his face, as if he could clearly see his son now, though the boy in question was many miles away.

Many miles away from the location of the Cloudscale Sect, Feng Yun and Xia Qing were traversing the final stretch until they reached the academy.

Feng Yun was huddled close to a mountain wall, his hands nimbly moving to each point and careful not to touch any loose rocks. He moved extremely quickly, not a single flaw in his movements. Xia Qing kept up with Feng Yun's pace, despite having a few problems in between. With their speed, the two ascended the cliff and lifted themselves over the other side.

Feng Yun got up first, hauling himself without much effort. He took a look back and saw Xia Qing just a little behind him. As she reached the edge, he lent an outstretched hand over to her.

"Here. Come on."

Xia Qing took the hand and with a little effort, she was over the wall. The two dusted their neat clothes and looked over towards the distance, where the shape of a large mass of land was visible. As they looked, the sun, which was previously not shining upon them, revealed their figures in their brightest form.

Over the course of the last six months in the journey, the physical appearances of the two young cultivators didn't change too much, except for the fact that they grew more refined and mature. The two were now both thirteen years old. They had been through a multitude of dangers and thrilling adventures over the past two years in order to arrive at their destination. They had fought wild beasts, opposing cultivators, arrogant clans, and many others in an effort to reach the Holy Continental Academy.

However, the trials they faced had tempered their strengths and they had experienced a large increase in cultivation. Feng Yun's sword abilities and overall strength as well as his usage of his martial skills made him a terrifying opponent to his enemies. Not only that, his control of the ability of dragonification improved and he was now able to maintain it for a longer period of time before the drawback was triggered. Xia Qing herself broke through to the fourth layer and gained more insight into her main martial arts, the Sun Scorching Vulcan Fist and the Frozen Soul Attack.

Feng Yun had never seen her use them to their full power, but he knew that the level of these martial arts were definitely nothing to play around with. At the least, they were nearly comparable to the attack power of the first two chapters of the Dragon Inheritance Skillbook! Such power was not normal. Feng Yun wondered how her family was able to procure such a powerful martial art.

All of their journey's life and death struggles had brought the two closer together and they both treated each other like one would towards their sibling. And now, that journey was about to end, as the Holy Continental Academy was literally in sight. Feng Yun looked on in the distance and murmured,

"The center of the Wushu Zhicai Continent. We've finally reached it."

There it was, in the horizon, a single towering city with unbelievable brightness and power being exuded from it. The city seemed to reflect that of a deity's home, one of shining wealth and aristocratic living. It was large, larger than a even a First Class City.

"Xia Qing, we're here. Holy Continental City is there. In the center of the city should be the academy itself. We should be there in a couple hours." Feng Yun directed the words towards Xia Qing but she was not paying attention at the moment. Her eyes shined with a great brilliance as she looked towards the place of which she had only dreamed of previously. She seemed to be in a trance.

'I'm actually this close', her expression seemed to say. Feng Yun saw this and couldn't help laughing a little.

"Xia Qing."

The pretty girl was shaken out of her thoughts by Feng Yun and recovered from her stupor with an embarrassed smile. Then, the two raced towards the city.

In but a few hours, they approached the towering city and couldn't help but be in awe of the amazing display. The guards were extremely dignified and wore golden armor to signify that they belonged to a powerful city. The guards had just looked at them once and then nodded their head, letting them in. They did not question the their ages at all surprisingly. However for the guards, seeing extremely young people enter the city was common. After all, this was a city where only geniuses and powerful figures were allowed to reside in.

Feng Yun and Xia Qing made it in with no problems and looked around for the Academy. Fortunately for them, they didn't need to look very hard as the enormous tower in the center spelled it out for them. They made for the large tower and with time, reached the academy entrance. They were extremely astounded to see that there were an extremely large amount of people gathered in the square, waiting outside the entrance for their turn to try the examinations. But what was even more surprising was that the academy itself was massive. It seemed to take up over a third of the city's total area and with the size of the city, that said something.

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

At the head of the group of people were two elders with white robes who guarded the entrance like watchdogs. They surveyed the crowd with indifferent gazes and examined the cultivations of some while they were at it. After a little while, one of the elders flew into the air and his voice boomed through the square. He appeared to be of either the Tyrant or Truth Realm.

"All those who wish to apply for the Holy Continental Academy, please come forward and form a line!"

Instantly, the large crowd of people rushed forward and formed a long line that stretched even outside the square. Xia Qing was also part of the line. Feng Yun however, stayed back and watched as the next set of instructions came in.

"There will be three parts to the examination. The first part will be performed right here, at the entrance to the academy. Those who succeed through all three parts will become disciples of the Holy Continental Academy. The first part is a test for your cultivation level. Only those who are below fifteen at at the third layer of the Xiantian Realm shall be permitted to pass into the next part."

The elder then flew down and began the test. There was an orb in the hand of one of the elders, which when touched, displayed the cultivation level and age of the cultivator. Many people passed through the test, most of them being fifteen years old and at the third layer of the Xiantian realm. However, there were some who had tried to fake their age and cultivation and had been discovered, subsequently being thrown out in a violent manner. This was evident with one fifteen year old, who was lifted into the air and thrown down out of the square. The elder who had given out the instructions roared at the large crowd in response to this.

"Those who attempt to fake their age and cultivation shall never gain entrance to the Holy Continental Academy! We do not accept trash! If anyone else dares to try this, a severe beating is in it for them."

The crowd shuddered when they heard those words. In front of the Holy Continental Academy, status was nothing. None could dare to be arrogant and presumptuous before them. Thus, every single one of the cultivators' faces turned pale from fright. Some of the cultivators apparently had the same idea as the one who was thrown out and left promptly to avoid punishment. The elder sat back down and calmly tested the remaining people.

"15 years old-Xiantian Realm 3rd layer. PASS!"

"15 years old-Xiantian Realm 3rd layer. PASS!"

"14 years old-Xiantian Realm 3rd layer. Not bad little girl. PASS!"

The last one called had shocked the entire crowd. The crowd all turned their heads to look at the youth who had actually done such a frightening feat. A young girl older than Xia Qing was revealed and her beautiful figure was gazed upon by countless eyes. She had red hair, long legs with smooth skin and a fairy like complexion. Her eyes were deep red and she had a look of pride as she heard the sign of recognition from the elder. Then, she moved passed the gates in a very arrogant manner. The others all sighed in amazement at her talent. Even the elders testing her nodded their heads.

"NEXT!" The elder called out and suddenly, a stunningly beautiful girl stepped forward. The girl smiled in a charming way that made the people around her suddenly blush.

"Ah Xia Qing, your beauty even captivates these young masters as well. Too bad that she already belongs to me!" Feng Yun said but then quickly realized what he had so shamefully said. "Shit, why did I say that? What the hell is wrong with my brain?"

The elder at the front stared at Xia Qing and then nodded his head, signifying that she could touch the orb and begin her testing. Xia Qing had complete confidence as she touched the orb and suddenly, the orb began to shake and shake at a rapid pace, the power within it seeming to explode outwards. Soon, the results were revealed. The two elders stood up in shock and their mouths were agape and their facial expressions were that of disbelief.

"13 y-years old-Xiantian Realm 4th l-layer!" The surrounding audience suddenly were thrust into an uproar. The beautiful girl before them...was actually so talented?! Even the red haired beauty who was so talented was completely incomparable to Xia Qing.

The two elders gradually calmed down as they thought to themselves, 'a true genius. A complete utter genius'. They smiled warmly at the girl who had shocked them so much. Xia Qing decided to tease them a little bit and said,

"Elders, is this okay?"

"Okay? You're more than okay! You may pass on to the next portion of the test!"

"I understand," Xia Qing replied, but then suddenly remembered something. "Elders, is it okay if I go say goodbye to my friend before I enter?"

The elders naturally had a kind disposition towards such a talented genius so they said, "Alright, you may say your farewells".

After hearing the response, Xia Qing ran out of the line towards Feng Yun, who gazed at her a little bit surprised. The girl stopped and then said in a serious tone,

"Feng Yun, I'm not going to say anymore than I have already discussed with you. However, you better come here after two years! Otherwise this princess won't leave you with a light beating if I see you again." Feng Yun smiled as he knew that she was only kidding.

"Understood princess. This lowly servant won't let you down!" Xia Qing was actually surprised by his reply and began to laugh slightly, her beautiful voice carrying over the wind. Then, she hustled to the entrance and disappeared out of sight.

The surrounding audience looked towards Feng Yun and began to wonder exactly what relationship the boy had with Xia Qing. If he has a good relationship with her, then he must have a strong background right? However, the cultivators were puzzled as Feng Yun wasn't participating in the examination. If he knows that girl, then he should have a lot of talent himself right? But if he's not participating, then doesn't that mean that he lacks the qualifications to join the academy? As the realization dawned upon them, disdain filled their eyes as they looked towards Feng Yun. However, Feng Yun payed no attention to the glances and merely gazed at the area where Xia Qing had disappeared from.

The elder was curious as to Feng Yun's background because he had connections to Xia Qing and asked him, "Would you like to try out for the examination as well?"

The elder was incomparably respectful. Someone as talented as Xia Qing had to be treated well and placed priority on. Therefore, even her acquaintances would be treated with respect.

"Who me? Nah, I don't really wanna do it right now. Besides, I have a ride coming for me soon."

At the same time that he said this, Feng Yun took out the green talisman that Dai Tian had gifted to him and shattered it, signifying that Dai Tian could come pick him up. As the two elders tried to figure out what the talisman did, an awe inspiring pressure descended upon the chests of all the cultivators of the square, the city and even the two elders themselves. The pressure was so strong that they even kneeled down on the floor.

Instantly, the figure of an enormous black serpent with three tails materialized above the Holy Continental City. It glowered at the tiny figures below it and directed its tail towards Feng Yun, to which the latter jumped upon.

"I'm ready to go Master."

"Hm, good. Then, we will leave soon. But first I need to do something."

Under the stunned gazes of the entire city, the Three-Tailed Black Death Python suddenly bellowed from its mouth in the direction of the academy,

"SHEN DAOYI YOU BASTARD! ONE DAY I'LL COLLECT THOSE THINGS YOU STOLE FROM ME!!!"

Then, the python and Feng Yun departed swiftly and their figures could no longer be seen due to their intense speed. The crowd could hardly feel their bodies and were shocked silent. Even after several minutes, they could still not register what had just happened. In their minds a single question resounded.

"What the fuck...just happened?"
