Hey guys, Thanksgiving is coming up soon. The shopping and traffic is gonna be legit. As a present to those that have continued to give me positive feedback, I am going to try my utmost hardest to quicken the pace of the chapters in the next four days. Think of it as my treat. I may be able to only update one chapter a day due to shopping but hey, who doesn't. Anyways, on wards to the tournament!
EDIT: All grammatical errors pretty much fixed. And weird sentences.

Feng Yun sat in a chair reading a book very peacefully. His long black hair draped down past his shoulders to his waist. His facial features were very delicate and tender which revealed the youth of a ten year old boy. However, he appeared to have a mature demeanor which did not fit his age and made him even more charming. He was so focused on his reading that he didn't notice a gust of wind fly past the window and an old man step inside the room.
This was Feng Lei and he had a bright smile on his face. He had come to pick up Feng Yun to go to the competition that was today. Feng Yun glanced up and saw the old man beckoning him with a hand. Feng Yun sighed and closed his book setting it down on the counter next to him. He stood up and walked over to Feng Lei taking his hand and the two disappeared in an instant. The next instant, they were at the base of a large misty mountain. Feng Yun was confused.
Weren't they going to go to the competition location? If he had memorized the location correctly, then the location should be at the center of the Xu Dynasty. Furthermore, It was a large expanse of plains and grass with a grand majestic arena. This was the location of the Tyrant Thunder God Dragon Clan. Were they going to get something from the clan before departing?
"Grandfather why are we..." Feng Yun began but was cut off abruptly by Feng Lei.
"You will know soon. First, lets meet up with Chief Ling Sun."
Feng Lei said ominously. He still had his smile and used the Cloudscale Sect Evasion Arts to move up the mountain. Feng Yun used his Falling Heavens Wings but, to his amazement, he found that he was still far slower than Feng Lei. They arrived at the entrance in less than an hour and approached the gates. The guards made way for the two and opened the gates. They all bowed respectfully, even to Feng Yun. News of his latent talent spread to most of the large sects in the Xu Dynasty.
He was even more well known for his very stable temperament and was neither a spoiled brat nor a person who flaunted his status and bullied others. The Dragon clan members found that particularly admirable and showed him respect as well. Feng Yun turned his head and smiled while nodding his head. They made their way to the center of the village, where three figures could be seen there waiting.
Two of them were stone dragons while the other as human. The two dragons were both white and black and were about two meters tall. Naturally, these two were Bai Fang and Hei Zhao. They had cheerful and embarrassed expressions on their face as they saw Feng Yun coming towards them. The human was Chief Ling Sun and he watched the duo make their way towards them. Feng Yun was puzzled. What was the reason for this meeting? Feng Lei gave Ling Sun a greeting and the chief spoke in a firm voice.
"Haha, Yun'er. You have grown quite strong I see. Hmm, lets see Tempered Body...EIGHTH LAYER PEAK!" Ling Sun was shocked as were the two dragons next to him. They knew of the immensity of his latent talent but this was still unexpected for them.
"Hehe, yeah but I would like to keep this secret. Anyways grandfather, the reason for calling us here?" Feng Yun replied sheepishly.
"Ahhh. You see, the last time you came here, Bai Fang and Hei Zhao intended to give you something before you left but completely forgot as a lot of 'other things' took over their mind." Ling Sun said narrowing his eyes at the two. The two dragons in turn smiled wryly.
"Ehehe, yeah we forgot. Anyways, forget about that. The main thing that matters is that we're giving it to you now."
Bai Fang held out his hand and within it was a mysterious black scroll. Feng Lei picked it up and opened it. The moment that he opened it, his face grew dark and shock filled his eyes. He questioned the dragons harshly.
"How the hell did something like this find its way into the Golden Tyrant Thunder God Dragon's hands? Something of this caliber! Unbelievable!" Feng Lei's hands shook. His facial expression was completely white, like the moon.
"Grandfather found it while fighting a powerful demonic beast in the Immortal Fiendlands. When he killed the beast, he found that it was guarding this. Although the treasures it may yield are valuable, it is on a whole another level from us. Grandfather couldn't even attempt it. The ancestor was hoping that we could pass it down to someone with the talent to succeed." Hei Zhao replied calmly.
"Hmm. This should be hidden at all costs. I will keep it in the safest place in the sect."
Feng Lei said, his expression not showing any signs of getting better. However, Feng Yun was curious. What was the scroll about? He wanted to know but if it made even the ancestor unable to do anything then it must surely be a difficult challenge.
"Grandfather Feng, what is the contents of the scroll?" Feng Yun couldn't hold his curiosity and questioned his grandfather.
"I will tell you once you have reached the Asura Realm." Feng Lei answered back coolly.
Feng Yun was shocked. The Asura Realm! If the difficulty level of the contents of the scroll truly needed that much strength then he would have to train hard. But he was even more curious as to the waves that would occur in the continent should the scroll be leaked out. Perhaps even the Mystic Sacred Realm would interfere.
Feng Lei looked up from the scroll and decided to deliver a farewell to Ling Sun and the two senior dragons. He beckoned for Feng Yun to follow him out of the sect. They descended down the mountain and came to a stop at the base. Feng Lei turned around and gestured to Feng Yun.
"The representatives of Cloudscale Sect and the rest of our family have arrived at the competition area. We will fly over there. However, we must make haste. I didn't think we would spend more time here than expected."
Feng Lei grabbed onto Feng Yun's white jacket and the two disappeared. They reappeared in the skies flying at phenomenal speeds. Feng Yun could feel the wind rushing past him so fast that it threatened to cut him. Thanks to Feng Lei's protection however, this was not the case. They arrived at the competition area in less than two hours. To someone under the Tyrant/Truth Realm, this could take several days. After all, the area was in the center of the Xu Dynasty. The area was a large expanse of green plains and a large dome-shaped arena could be seen in the center of the plains giving off a strong aura. The walls were over fifty meters tall and it was incredibly wide.
It looked very similar to the Colosseum of Feng Yun's old world. There were fifteen layers of stands circling around the fighting ground. Feng Yun marveled at the grand sight of the arena. They quickly descended and walked up to the entrance. There, Feng Luo and Ling Qian were waiting there, obviously looking very agitated. Nearby were a few representatives of the Cloudscale Sect. There were four children in total excluding Feng Yun himself. Upon seeing the duo, Feng Yun's parents rushed towards them and Ling Qian began to give them a hard time.
"Where have you been?! We've been waiting for you for some time now! We almost got everybody signed up without you."
"Haha, daughter-in-law, do not be so agitated. We had to pick up something from Bai Fang and Hei Zhao and it was incredibly important. It just happened to take a bit more time." Feng Lei tried to calm her down. Ling Qian cooled off and said in a less angry voice.

"Well whatever then. Now that you're here, go sign up and come to the stands to wait."
She then walked off to meet Feng Luo. As Feng Yun walked over to the registration counter, he felt the eyes of envy and disdain coming from the other representatives. They obviously didn't think much of him and thought he was only treated well because of his social status.
Feng Yun merely snorted and let out a bit of killing intent which snaked its way to them stealthily. Upon feeling it's oppressive power, they shook in fear and retracted their rude gazes. This served as a warning. Do not think of me as someone you can so carelessly insult.
Feng Yun controlled his killing intent back to himself and signed up. He walked up to the stands and as he was ascending up, he met face to face with a black haired, evil eyed boy who walked with an intense arrogance within him. This was Mo Han of course. The Blood Demon Sect and the Cloudscale Sect had a deep enmity so tensions were high. Upon seeing Feng Yun, he let out a sneer.
"It appears that Young Master Feng actually showed up. Does Young Master Feng not fear losing face?"
"Ho, Young Master Mo. What a coincidence seeing you here. I never would have thought that you would actually appear here. Young Master Mo, I must let you know that it is incredibly dangerous for a boy who hasn't even grown his wee to an inch to come to this tournament. As for face, who needs face when you have power? Take care of your health Young Master Mo."
Feng Yun had a cam and innocent smile on his face and insulted Mo Han without holding anything back. He waked past Mo Han and placed a hand on his shoulder. Mo Han's expression changed to that of pure indignation. He whirled around to see Feng Yun in his white jacket with golden linings on it ascending the stairs with a calm smile on his face.
"You...I will crush you into the ground like the mewling whelp that you are, Feng Yun."
Mo Han threatened. Upon hearing this, Feng Yun slightly chuckled and sat next to his grandfather with an amused smile on his face. Mo Han's face turned red but he chose not to pursue it and went to his own seat. I will destroy you in the arena myself, Mo Han thought to himself.
A figure appeared behind Feng Yun and put his hand on Feng Yun's shoulder. Feng Yun whipped his head around to see who was it and was met with a gentle and warm smile. He had golden colored hair and azure eyes. He had a face that was very feminine but his eyes reflected a fierceness that could only be understood by those of the same clan as him. Feng Yun gave the boy a warm greeting. He cupped his hands and said respectfully.
"Young Master Ling Zi, I see you too are here today as well. I wonder what has brought on this visit?"
This was the Ling Zi from the spirit awakening ceremony and was also the second grandson of Ling Sun. He was Feng Yun's cousin and was known to have a very good and likeable temperament. He was not arrogant or conceited, and he was kind to those he considered friends or good people. He was very respectful and treated even those weaker than him with respect. Ling Zi let out a laugh and looked at Feng Yun with an interested gaze.
"Haa, cousin Feng Yun. There's no need for formalities between us. We are cousins by blood. I merely came here to visit you and happened to witness the verbal argument between you and Mo Han. I must say that cousin has a very sharp mouth." He said with admiration.
"You praise me too much cousin Ling Zi. I intend to do more than just verbally beat him," Feng Yun coolly replied. He would naturally give respect to those that showed him respect. Ling Zi stared at him blankly for a moment and then exploded into laughter.
"Haha...cousin Feng Yun. I admire your confidence. You are a very interesting person. I must go now. if we do meet in a fight, I wish for cousin to not go easy on me."
He gave a small bow in which Feng Yun nodded and returned the gesture. By not going easy on an opponent, it was basically showing them respect. It meant that they deserved to face your true strength. Then, Ling Zi left, leaving him sitting in his seat. Feng Yun surveyed Ling Zi's cultivation before he left and pondered for a bit.
"Tempered Body Eight Layer Initial Phase huh? He is quite talented."
Feng Yun nodded his head. His gaze then wandered to the royal lobby where the representatives of the Xu Dynasty were sitting. Three of them were members of the royal family while the other two had been personally chosen by Xu Qinzheng, current dynasty emperor. The three members of the royal family were especially arrogant. They talked with people in a very haughty tone. In particular, a boy with long golden hair that shimmered in the light. He looked a year older than Feng Yun and coldness was reflected in his eyes.
Minutes later, a stage rose up from the ground and a green robed middle aged man stood on it. He had the character "Xu" written on the back and smiled warmly at the audience.
"Greetings disciples of the Four Major Powers and the selected geniuses not from these powers. I, Xu Ming shall be overseeing this competition. There are twenty disciples from all of the four powers and four disciples from the previously excluded powers. This totals twenty-four disciples. These disciples will engage in two-on-two fights in the arena. The arena will be split into twelve mini arenas. Each arena will be separated from the other. There will be twelve people left. Then, we will split it into six arenas, then three arenas and then the remaining three disciples will be present. At that time, we will put two disciples against each other and depending on who wins, that disciple will fight the last disciple left for the number 1 spot. Easy to understand correct? The usage of pills are forbidden and audiences are also forbidden from intervening in the match. Severe punishment will be delivered to those who violate this rule. The match will end when one disciple has fallen unconscious or used up his/her qi. So without further ado, let the tournament begin."
The crowd erupted in cheers and large amounts of people began to make bets about who will win. Feng Yun sat there calmly gazing at nothing. He was bored. Start the matches god damn it, he thought. He looked around trying to find Xia Qing but stopped as Xu Ming spoke once more. He began to name a bunch of matches but the ones that particularly caught Feng Yun's attention were,
"...Xia Qing vs. Xu Fei, Mo Han vs. Huo Chen(Cloudscale Sect), Ling Zi vs. Mu Chang(Blood Demon Sect), Xu Fangzi vs. Zhao Che(Blood Demon Sect) and Feng Yun vs. Xu Long."
Feng Yun had a cold light in his eyes. He got up and disappeared from view reappearing on the arena stage in an instant. The crowd couldn't believe it. This kid...how was he so fast? Even his own family was surprised. Only Feng Lei appeared calm. Both he and Ling Sun had looked at Feng Yun's cultivation and already knew. They were as shocked as the crowd was when they had first found out.
Feng Yun took one glance to the arena next to him and saw a young girl smiling at him. The girl had long purple hair that shimmered in the sun. She had a long ribbon attached to her free flowing hair making her all the more dazzling. Her facial features were very pretty and her eyes were a deep blue.
She had a smile that could charm even the most powerful of minds. She is...Xia Qing? Feng Yun thought furiously. How could she change so much? She was only ten years old but she's already so pretty?! Feng Yun shook himself out of his daze and smiled back turning to look at the opponent before him. His opponent was Xu Long, a member of the Xu Royal family.
"Oi, kid. Get off the stage. I'll save you some face and not injure you. Just get off or else this young master here will mess your pretty face up." Feng Yun snorted in response to this arrogant remark.
"We will see who messes whose face up." Feng Yun said.
