Okay so, addressing the situation from last chapter. I think the RRL drafting software screwed up when I was typing it up. So, when I was typing it up, my enter button wouldn't freaking work and it kept changing the line but not making a new space. After I uploaded the chapter however, the amount of enters that I spammed trying to make it work became apparent. So, its an issue of lag. Serious lag. Anyways, sorry about that. Hope you enjoy this next chapter!

Feng Yun, Xia Qing and the rest of the 5th Battalion gazed at the people approaching the gaze. At the same time, the rest of the Death Singer Mercenaries looked up as well. This was because these people were truly distinguished. They wore very expensive clothing and had an air of arrogance and nobility. They evidently came from a very powerful clan or sect. The set of people consisted of an old man and a girl. The old man looked to be in his fifties and had a long white beard. He wore a long set of green robes. The man released an awe inspiring pressure that seemed to dominate the entire area. He wore an amiable expression and looked extremely wise. The girl in contrast was much different. She looked to be about fifteen years old as she was very well developed and imposed a mature like feeling on those that met her gaze. She wore a cold expression filled with arrogance which vastly differed from the old man next to her. She looked very beautiful and had curvaceous breasts. She was probably the young miss of a famous sect or family. Feng Yun didn't care either way. He was only thankful that they had allowed him and Xia Qing an opportunity to make up for lost time and resume their journey to Holy Continental Academy. Other than that, Feng Yun wished to make no other contact with the people.
As they watched the two approaching, members of the Death Singer Mercenaries themselves walked over. They were not just ordinary members however. There were five people in total. four of them wore a mixture of red and black robes. The final one, who appeared to be the leader, had a pitch black set of robes with skull inscribed on the back. He had a very intense pressure but lightened it when nearing the two people. This was the four elite commanders and chief of the Death Singer Mercenaries. They were very illustrious people that were known widely across the city. Their names had even spread to the other cities close by. They were all at the higher stages of the Xiantian Realm and could not be so easily trifled with. The chief of the Death Singer Mercenaries bowed his head slightly to the old man as a gesture of respect.
"Honored Elder Zhou, we cannot thank you enough for the opportunity that you have given us to earn money. We are extremely happy to escort you and the young miss to Azure Sky City." The chief was extremely respectful to this Zhou elder in front of him. One must know that there weren't many that could make the chief this respectful to except the particularly strong factions in First Class Cities and Imperial Class Cities. If they were compared to Feng Yun's Cloudscale Sect, they still wouldn't be able to match them. The Elder Zhou replied with a smile,
"Haha, Chief Dong Fuzhen, no need to be this respectful. This mission was a necessity to us. We needed to get there with protection and you were the only mercenary faction that seemed to be trustworthy. This is beneficial to us and you."
"I understand, Honored Elder Zhou. Then, let us cut the formalities and get right to the journey shall we? We have received our shipments of supplies and all of our capable men numbering over seventy, all of them being in the Xiantian Realm. Is this a sufficient amount of reinforcement for Elder Zhou and the young miss?" Dong Fuzhen spoke very casually but the amount of reinforcement he was providing was enormous! Feng Yun and Xia Qing were surprised. At the same time, they were wondering who this Elder Zhou was. While they were thinking about this, Elder Zhou gave his reply.
"Indeed, this is enough to satisfy me and the young miss's needs. Shall we depart for Azure Sky City?"
The five commanders nodded their heads and led the two people down to the gate. Their gazes had turned firm and serious and resumed their intensity as they gave commands to the mercenaries. Elder Zhou and the 'young miss' were led to a carriage by Dong Fuzhen. The carriage looked to be quite large and seemed comfortable. It was big enough to fit in ten people directly adjacent to each other so it was more than enough to accommodate the two people. Before going in, the fifteen year old girl muttered,

"Hmph, not bad. It's of decent quality. Looks like they tried their best. But...is is this all a mercenary guild like this can do? Too bad." The girl's words were very arrogant and ungrateful. Although she had said it quietly, people with extraordinary hearing like Feng Yun could hear it as clear as day. A cold look appeared on Feng Yun's face as he heard this. The same thing appeared on the expressions of many other people's faces. This girl...went too far. Even though they knew they would make a lot of money from this trip, they couldn't help but build up rage within their heart. Veins pulsated on some of them. Who told a spoiled little brat like you to come here? Feng Yun was even more determined not to make any physical connection with these people. Turns out that not only were they nobles, they were also spoiled and had a bad character as well. Elder Zhou noticed the expressions on many of the people's faces and whispered to the girl,
"Hush! Do no insult them this loudly. They are still our benefactors so we need to show a degree of respect to them despite our overpowering status."
"Hmph, grandpa, you worry too much. Even if we offended them, my father could come over here personally and wipe out their entire mercenary group. They should be respectful to us. I, a genius that has surpassed many people is someone that should be revered. I am unstoppable." The girl was too overbearing. She was relentless in her insults and would not stop verbally murdering them. Finally, the grandpa shook his head and let out a sigh. He pushed the girl lightly into the carriage and didn't even administer a punishment to the girl. Rage was apparent on people's faces as they watched them go in. The grandpa had not even given her a verbal warning! This was too much of a loss of face to the Death Singer Mercenaries, a powerful group who was respected by even the City Lord of Sky Wind City himself. Not even the clans in First Class Cities would be this disrespectful. Someone, they willed in their hearts. Someone, go beat this brat up.
The five commanders pretended as if they had not heard the conversation and turned their backs around. They too gritted their teeth slightly in frustration. Only they were truly aware of the type of status that the people they were escorting represented. They could only keep their curses inside and not voice their rage. One of the commanders even had to pace back and forth for about a minute to calm himself down. Minutes later, the supplies were loaded onto separate carriages and horses were attached to the reins of these carriages. However, Dong Fuzhen understood that they couldn't carry too much luggage else their speed would be too slow and they would barely make any progress. He only organized for there to be about a month's worth of food and supplies for the mercenaries. After that, they would have to hunt beasts in order to have a consistent food source. Of course, food for the escorted people were provided from the city and they wouldn't have to work for their food.
A pair of horses were attached to Elder Zhao and the girl's carriage. They were centered in between mercenaries on all sides. That way, there would be maximum protection no matter what side beasts or bandits attacked from. It was a good strategic move by Dong Fuzhen. The mercenaries were all traveling on horse so progress would be very fast. A half-year trip. Feng Yun looked back at the city behind the gates. He would never see this city again for quite a long time. Perhaps when he was at a much stronger level than he was now, he would visit this city again. But it seemed unlikely. He would be traveling across the continent and would most likely forget about this place. Feng Yun received his mount from Duo Ling. It was a large black stallion that seemed quite normal. It still had a level of ferocity about it but submitted to Feng Yun when he used a certain portion of his powerful aura.
Feng Yun got on his stallion and whipped the reins. The horse trotted along towards the positions of his fellow 5th Battalion. Meng Rou and Cang Lin were silent as they gazed ahead, preparing to leave the city. Duo Ling still had a carefree smile plastered across his face. Xia Qing merely followed behind Feng Yun on a white horse that seemed much gentler than Feng Yun's horse. It stopped next to Feng Yun and stared straight ahead along with the rest. Xia Qing looked at Feng Yun and nodded her head. She too was prepared to leave as well. Feng Yun turned his gaze towards the front and smiled.
Towards the Holy Continental Academy we go! Just one step closer to my destination!
