A short while later, a familiar voice called out. "Hey, we came too!"
Tim looked back to his left, and, past the gawking Kazuto, spotted Cin, Nela, and an excited-looking Enzi standing next to their seats, with a small cloud floating next to them. "Hey, I didn't know you were—"
"Drake!" Enzi yelled, throwing her hands in the air. She stepped over Kazuto, causing her seven-point-eight, light red dress rise up past her knees slightly, and plopped herself down across Tim's lap with no concern for whether she'd fit. Her arms rose up and latched around the back of his neck, and she stared down at him with her nine-point-one green eyes. "Hi," she said more softly.
"Enzi," Rai said in an annoyed tone as she adjusted to…
Tim took a closer look at his seating. Where previously he'd been sitting in a stiff, narrow seat that provided exactly enough room for him to sit without feeling uncomfortable, his seat had now somehow expanded, stretching to become wide enough to accommodate Enzi's larger form sitting on top of him including her legs dangling off to the side.
The result of this was that Rai was now sitting considerably farther away, and her eyes were set in a clear frown.
"How's it hanging, hotness?" Cin called from behind and on the right, accompanied by a familiar set of claws dragging across the back of his neck above Enzi's hands.
"Hi, Drake," Nela said quietly from behind him on the left.
"Hi again, Drake!" Igyn chirped as she zoomed around to float on his right. "The ladies all wanted to see you, so here we are!"
"Hey, great to—aaa," was all Tim managed before Enzi pressed the end of her snout to his lips and slipped her ten-out-of-ten tongue into his mouth, bringing with it the subtle, sweet taste of some fruit that he'd sampled at Igyn's temple the first time he'd met them. She coiled her tongue around his, and he bit down gently, a dragonkin gesture of acceptance and trust—or so he'd been told.
She moaned softly and pulled back after another moment, staring down at him again with her bright green eyes.
"Hi, Enzi," he said, squeezing one hand on her side and smiling up at her.
"Finally," Cin hooted. "I would've gone crazy if I had to listen to her talk about how much she wanted to do that anymore."
"Enzi, not in public," Lekthi said in an admonishing tone.
"Move your stupid legs," Rai said from the side, sounding exasperated. She pushed the second-youngest dragon-woman's legs a little and the seat contracted, bringing her closer again. "I want a kiss too!"
Some time later, and after Tim had discovered that the seats could apparently recline as needed when Cin had tipped him backwards into an aggressive, upside down kiss, followed by a quick, subdued one from Nela, he'd very nearly regained some sense of control over what was happening.
"Drake, Drake, why didn't you tell me you had a harem?" Kazuto asked in an urgent, loud, half-whisper. "You have the five of them and that hot chick from before?"
Fuck, I forgot he was even here. Tim shifted to look over Enzi's head resting on his shoulder at the kid next to him. "It's not…really like that," he said, poignantly feeling Rai's earlier comments about the strangeness of the situation coming back at that moment.
"What? Hey, you don't have to be modest with me, Drake," Kazuto said, giving him a look like he knew what the person he was talking to meant better than they did. "It's obvious these chicks all want your dick. Is that like, a lizardman isekai perk or something? Actually, how do you even keep track of them when they all look the same like that?"
I don't even… Tim stared, hoping something would come to mind that he could say to make the kid shut up but feeling like his brain was melting down the longer he listened. At least they can't understand him? I… What?
Kazuto leaned in even closer, glancing back behind him. "I mean, not trying to interrupt the master while you work here, and it's awesome getting to see you in action, but the one right behind you—uh, I think her name was Licky?—she sort of seems like she's checking me out? And she doesn't seem like she's that into you—no offense, obviously—so I was thinking…" He gestured with his head towards the row behind them and raised his eyebrows. "We're friends, right, Drake?"
"Are you… Are you serious right now?" Tim asked after several more seconds of staring blankly.
"So… I mean, you know, just to confirm, that's a no?" Kazuto asked, continuing to look behind himself out of the corners of his eyes.
"It's a definite no," Tim said, trying to convey the ten-out-of-ten definiteness of his no with his eyes and failing because the person he was talking to wasn't looking at him. How has he even survived for this long? He was on that other world for a year or something he said? How did some woman not get pissed off and cut his—
"Why is he staring at me again?" Lekthi asked.
"Excuse me," Igyn cut in, adding her physical presence as she flew over to hover in front of the kid's face. "Champion of Sateus or not, would you mind not talking or thinking like that about my champions? Or making them uncomfortable with your staring?"
"What?" Kazuto waved his hand through her. "Why is this cloud talking to me? Look, I—"
"Nela," Igyn said in a deeper, commanding voice.
The teal-eyed, quiet dragon-woman calmly reached forward and grabbed the boy's right arm just above the elbow, jerking it outwards with an audible pop, and he screamed as he clutched at his shoulder. A few eyes of the odd, blob-like creatures seated in front of them swiveled around their blob-like heads to look for a moment before returning to watch as Emma's opponent's pieces continued to dwindle.

"I might be weak, but I am still a deity, and I will not be looked down on by some child who was granted abilities that make him slightly stronger than dust," Igyn said in the same, deep voice. "These ladies who all chose to support me might look the same to you, and maybe you are unable to tell them apart, but you will respect them, even in your thoughts. They are not things. They are not monster girls. They are not waifus. They are individuals, each with their own thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams. Your thirstiness is revolting."
Unprovoked, Nela reached forward and, despite Kazuto's struggles, repeated the process on his left arm, triggering more wailing and thrashing from him. She looked to Igyn. "Should I kill him?" she asked with a slight tilt of her head.
"Oh, you're so sweet, Nela," Igyn said, once again speaking in her cutesy voice. She swirled over and wrapped around the dragon-woman's shoulders. "Here's a hug for being such a dear."
Nela smiled shyly, showing only a small portion of her teeth. "Thanks, Igyn. Your hugs are the best."
Tim watched with interest. Am I…supposed to save him or something? Well, Sateus never said anything about this in particular. Enzi shifted her head on his shoulder at that moment and gave his neck a languid, swirling lick, and he shivered.
"Sateus, take your champion back now, or I might change my mind," Igyn called.
Kazuto vanished a moment later.
"Fuck, he's finally gone," Tim said with a relieved sigh. Then he stiffened. Shit, I didn't mean to say that out loud.
Lekthi started to laugh behind him. "Your true thoughts are revealed at last!"
"Why didn't you just say you didn't like him earlier?" Rai asked, running her claws lightly down his fingers.
"He was breathing on me," Enzi murmured.
"Well, I'm supposed to be sort of babysitting him," he said with a sigh. "Sateus said—"
"Drake, doesn't it feel like a victory to you now that he's gone?" Igyn asked.
"It sort of does," he replied. Not sure how I'll deal with it when I get back, but for now—
"Don't worry about Sateus," Igyn said. "Here's a hug for you too." She wrapped around him and Enzi along with the back of his seat, and he felt a weak, but comforting squeeze. "Feel better?"
"Yeah, actually, I think I do," he said after a moment, grinning as he revised his earlier rating. They might be weak, but Igyn's hugs had great timing, and they were very clearly deserving of at least an eight-out-of-ten, though he was open to further revisions of the scoring as the situation warranted.
"Um, can I sit here?" Nela asked as she leaned forward over the vacated seat.
"I don't know, are you planning to dislocate my shoulders?" Tim joked with a backwards glance.
Her eyes widened, and she raised her hands in front of herself. "No, no, no, I wouldn't do that to you!" she protested, waving her hands wildly.
"Nela likes you," Cin said a little too loudly near his right ear.
The teal-eyed dragon-woman covered her snout with her hands, but a small puff of smoke escaped, followed by a burst of orange flame.
"She's flarming!" Rai said with a laugh.
Enzi picked her head up quickly to look back. "She is!" she exclaimed.
"What's flarming?" Tim asked as he watched another tiny gout of flame escape between Nela's fingers.
"It's when we get so embarrassed we start doing that," Lekthi said, sounding amused.
"Ladies, let's give Nela some time to compose herself," Igyn chided.
"That's so cute," Enzi said as she settled her head back onto Tim's left shoulder. "She's usually so reserved," she murmured into his ear.
This is surreal. How did I get to this point? What am I even doing? He turned his attention to the ongoing match in time to see Emma make some sort of decisive move that reduced her opponent to thirteen remaining pieces against her thirty one.
A minute or so later, he felt someone settle into the seat next to him. He looked over, and Nela's nine-point-four teal eyes stared back at him.
"Hi?" she said, flashing another shy smile.
Enzi lifted her head up and looked at the tallest of the five, her mouth opening in a grin. "Nela, do you want to switch with me?"
"N-no, I couldn't," Nela said, shaking her head. "I'm too big, and—"
"I'm almost as big as you," Enzi said gently. "Besides, I'm sure Drake wants to get to know you better too."
I don't know if this really counts as getting to know each other, but it's…nice. "I want to if you want to," he said, watching Nela's reaction.
Her smile grew a little broader. "Okay, then," she said.
Enzi gave him a long squeeze with her arms, and her tongue drew another slow circle on his neck. "I'm glad this wasn't just an obligation for you," she whispered into his ear before she sat up and hopped off his lap. "Okay, Nela, your turn," she said as she shuffled back…
Tim blinked as he looked farther to the left along their row. Initially, there had been another series of creatures sitting next to Nela, including a larger, fuzzy, cloud-like thing in one seat, but as Enzi approached, they zoomed off a short ways, replaced by the stairs that led down into the corridor. This is some—
Nela sat carefully across his lap, the skirt of her stylish, eight-point-eight, dark red dress separating a small amount at the slits that rose up along her nine-point-one legs, and her hands pressed down awkwardly on the armrest behind her. "Sorry, I'm trying not to crush you," she said, avoiding his eyes.
She's really cute today. Did we really… Damn, now I feel bad since the three of them blended together a little. I'll have to make up for it. He reached up with his left hand and tilted her head as he pressed his lips against the softer scales that surrounded her mouth. She opened her jaws a little, and he poked his longer-than-human tongue inside, feeling a deep sense of relief when her teeth came down to graze him rather than shutting more firmly. Her hands came up to caress his face a moment later as their tongues tangled, and he kept her propped up with a hand behind her back.
"Hi," he said quietly when they separated a short while later, continuing to stare into each others' eyes.
She grinned at him. "Hi," she said in reply. A brief moment passed. "Do… Do you want to spar sometime?" she asked abruptly.
Tim chuckled at the sudden shift. "I think I might."
"Okay," she said as her grin widened. "None of us competed in any matches except Rai. I really like fighting though." She burrowed her face into his shoulder. "And… I also like you," she whispered.
A warm feeling spread through his chest, and he stroked his fingers along her back, trying to avoid tearing her dress accidentally with his claws. "I like you too," he said.
This is a weird trip.
Weird, but good.
