Ise-chan… Kazuto stared at her sexy, headless body.

Ise-chan wasn't like the other girls to him. He realized that now. He'd never thought of her as an NPC, not really. He'd dreamed of spending the rest of his days with her, maybe raising some kids someday even. More frequently, however, he'd dreamed of spending more time in bed with her.

She was that good.

But now… She was gone?

He didn't know how to come to terms with it. Maybe… Maybe Lucia could bring her back somehow? She was a goddess, right? That was a goddess type of thing to be able to do!

Except Lucia wasn't responding to him lately…

There wasn't anyone else around he could ask about it either. In fact, there was only one other person nearby.

"You," Kazuto said in growing fury as he whirled back to Carl, who was still standing there by the door, shaking in fear. "You killed her?!" he screamed, letting loose his anguish at the loss of his first love.

She hadn't been just a waifu.

She was a person who loved him.

And now she was dead.

Carl made no motions, nor did he attempt to reply, continuing to stand in place and occasionally twitch, subdued by the vengeful killing instinct of the hero.

Kazuto rushed him, readying a punch with his gauntlets that would turn Ise-chan's killer into a splatter of blood against the wall.

"Carl!" bellowed an old man's voice from somewhere.

The sound didn't distract Kazuto, however, and he shouted his battle cry as he let loose with the full force of his goddess-given gauntlets, driving his fist into the side of the huge man with all his might.

It felt like striking the dungeon wall! Kazuto clenched his teeth to avoid crying out in pain, and his regeneration activated to heal him in the next moment.

"Carl!" came the old man's voice again.

Kazuto didn't care. He circled around to the front and threw a big punch at the man's gut, knowing that to be an effective place to punch all humanoid creatures.

Again, however, his fist practically bounced off the larger man, feeling as though he'd hit some indestructible object! "Give me back my Ise-chan!" he screamed in rage and frustration as he circled around to tr
