Chapter 32 : Ignorant Swordplay Student, Blacksmithing Class With Trista Begins!

Upon entering the classroom, Egon dropped his book to gain the attention of everyone as usual.

“Remember to train for the class’ upcoming sparring match on Wednesday of next week.”

“Along with that, I’ve heard that one of the students in this class has a bounty on their head.”

“I won’t be interfering in this matter and as such I don’t want anything having to do with that in my class."

"Am I understood?”

Most of the students nodded at Egon’s words but one student in particular laughed at Egon’s words.

Reno turned to see who was so bold.

He saw the familiar face of Chasin Fermin who everyone deemed to be the strongest student in his class pool.

“Teacher Egon, The bounty reward is a meeting with an original family."

"Are you pretending to be a goody two shoes teacher or are you scared of messing with that whore of a teacher, Mae”

Upon hearing Chasin’s remarks, most of the students gasped in surprise.

Egon’s face turned cold.

Seeing that he was being heard by everyone, Chasin continued.

“She has to be sleeping around with the principal and the top brass or else she would not be where she is currently. Even my parents agree with me.”

“Rest assured teacher Egon."

"My family is one of the biggest backs of this academy. Any trouble you might end up in, I’ll make sure to get you out of.”

“I need this meeting with an original family."

"I’ll even give you promotions that normal A-rank combatants might never achieve in their lives.

"If you’ll join me in subduing student Reno then I'll make so many doors open up to you”

Hearing all this spiel, Egon was rolling his eyes on the inside.

'I'll need to report all this to Mae later, that will be something interesting to see"

'There is a reason that teachers are not getting involved with this bounty. He'll see the reason for this soon enough

Egon then sighed. “Are you finished so I can start my class, student Fermin?”

“I can see that something seems to be wrong with your hearing though."

"I'll make sure to repeat it a second time on account of this."

"Are you finished so I can start my class, student Fermin?”

“I already expressed that I won’t be partaking in this bounty hunt foolishness.

"No matter if the prize is to meet with the head of the family or the weakest member of the family.”

“I would knock some sense into you myself but it seems that someone is already taking on that job for me.”

Before Chasin could turn around, the side of a great axe swung at him with full force.

This caused him to fly across the room into a wall.

Grania smiled. “Home run! Can I get any extra points for that teacher?”

Egon scoffed. “You should be glad I’m not taking away points for it.”

Grania shrugged her shoulders before returning to her seat right beside Reno.

Reno then stretched out his hand for a fistbump, to which Grania accepted.

"Don't worry my boy Reno! I won't sit here watching some spoiled prick talk you down like you're as good as dead"

As soon as she sat back down, the class erupted into gossip.

“Did you see that, Chasin flew with a single strike! Wasn’t he supposed to be the strongest in the class!?”

“Isn’t she afraid of his family taking revenge on her?”

“Initially it was only Reno causing problems with the Imogen."

"But now his friend is taking the initiative to offend another big family!?"

"Do they have an original family backing them or something, or are they crazy!?”

Egon walked to Chasin who was struggling to get up and then tossed him back into the seat that he was sitting at before.

He then took up and dropped his book like he did when he entered the class.

“I won’t be telling anyone again, it’s time for class. No more wasting time.”

After that, no one dared to gossip in Egon’s class anymore, and time passed by quickly.

The only annoying thing was the occasional glares that Reno and Grania felt coming from behind them.

Before they knew it though, swordplay class was finished.

With exploration class now, you guessed it! An absent Melia Opal like usual.

'At this point, the sub teacher might as well be the actual teacher'

In the Survival 101 class, it was theory as they had finished up their practical session.

Teacher Nero shared the news that some students had decided to leave the academy and go back home.

Reno was smarter than to think the ones who wanted revenge on him had decided to quit school for almost no reason.

'Looks like the vampire ended up killing them.'

Thinking about it, Reno got goosebumps all over his body and felt a little sick.

After the announcement about some students leaving, survival class went on like usual.

Before he knew it, Reno was already in front of the door for the blacksmithing class.

Reno was about to go in but before he could open the door he felt someone slap his back.

“Haha! Seems like you’re not dead yet dreaming boy!”

There was only one person who called Reno that nickname.

Reno turned around to see Trista.

“Why are you hesitating out here, at least go inside before you start thinking that it’s too much”

Trista then grabbed one of Reno’s hands and pushed open the door before they both entered the blacksmithing class.

“Trista’s here with a newbie in tow! Get a set of equipment ready for us and I’ll make sure to teach him the ropes!”

Upon hearing Trista’s voice, everyone including the teacher stopped and saluted her. “Yes Boss!”

Reno was dumbfounded. ‘Isn’t this Teacher Emaline’s class, why does it seem that Trista’s the one in control here’

Come with me Reno, we’re changing for the occasion.

Trista then grabbed Reno and walked into a room with the words ‘changing room’ above it.

After changing into her smithing, She handed a leather apron, some gloves, and a set of goggles to Reno.

“Put these on, if you’re not out in 1 minute then kick you out of class.”

Trista then left the room, leaving Reno by himself.

At this point, Reno was annoyed but made sure to put on the set of equipment with haste.

‘I can’t deny that Trista is efficient in what she seems to do but she should at least slow down for others.'

'I’m pretty sure that not everyone can match her pace.’

As soon as Reno finished he dashed out of the changing room.

When he was out, Trista grabbed one of his arms once more.

‘Again?’

“You came out exactly on the dot, let’s get to smithing then.”

She dragged him across the blacksmithing class to a room that had the words 4 above it.

Emaline was in front of the room.

Trista then received some papers from Emaline. “Did you get everything ready?”

Emaline nodded in response to Trista’s words. Trista then gave back the papers to Emaline.

“Good! Let me show you how bad-ass blacksmiths can be Reno!”

She then dragged Reno into the fourth blacksmithing room.
