Yuri sat at a small coffee shop, reading the stack of papers they had previously acquired from Delem.

She was drinking something she mixed up herself by ordering coffee, milk and sugar, mixing it all into something that made the coffee shop owner frown.

Hikaru on the other hand was sitting opposite Yuri, sipping on a small cup of a strong tea like drink that tasted bitter to Yuri. Hikaru was savouring the taste with every sip which Yuri, who even in her previous body had a sweet tooth, could not understand.

“Haaah..”

Sighing loudly and gulping down the rest of her drink, she looked up at Hikaru.

“This is going to be very hard…”

She half heartedly flipped thrones the notes and papers.

“It appears the thing we are looking for is kept in the same place all of the cities money is kept..so security is over the top..”

“I see..”

Hikaru swirled the liquid inside his cup while observing its motion.

“I don’t think we would be able to pull this off. Even with our..Unique..abilities.” Scratching her head she looked at Hikaru. “At least if we do it alone that is..”

“Are you proposing we hire someone to work for us..?” Hikaru curiously asked.

“I do not think that gathering up a bandit army is quite wise..the security for these types of things are usually built to withstand an army or two..especially in a city filled with warriors. Their vault is likely more secure than a fortress..”

He sipped his tea.

“No no no..we won’t blindly attack it. Besides we wont even have to pay anyone, people will come begging at the chance to get into a room with that much wealth. No. I’m thinking of doing it without raising any alarms..” She smiled. “Well i suppose we have to pay Delem another visit, I’m sure he’l be happy to see us.”

“YOU!” Delem screamed when he saw the pair make their way into his office “HOW DARE YOU PLAY WITH A PURE MANS HEART!?”

Delems face looked like a tomato about to burst.

“How the hell are you pure..?” Yuri asked while sitting down at the sofa with Hikaru keeping his trademark stand behind her.

“GET OUT!” He yelled loud enough that he shook. “You aren’t getting any of the bonuses we agreed upon, in fact you should be paying ME for the information I gave you earlier!”

He took out a small rock from his pocket.

“Such a horrible trick, to make fun of a pure man’s dream of acquiring his beloveds panties, how dare you use such a cheap trick on me!”

“Again..how the hell can you be considered pure..besides, what’s with that unusual dream of yours..?” She sighed “Anyway, we are here to give you a deal taht will bring you more money than you could ever dream off, more than enough to pay off the information we got from you.”

She crossed her legs while smiling.

“HAH!? What the hell are you talking about, i told you to pay up and leave, or i will have my men escort you..IN PIECES!” He added with spit flying from his mouth.

“Hey there..cool it with the sprinklers..”

She wiped away some of the spit the spit that landed on her disgusted face.

“Here’s the deal see, if you aid us, you get fifty percent of everything we get from the vault of this city, Kapish?”

Yuri tried to imitate the old school gangsters speech but was sure no one understood the joke.

At the sound of that deal, Delem seemed to calm down considerably and slowly sat down while staring at Yuri.

“Fifty percent you say..that’s no low amount..even when I escaped the throne I could barely get a single percent out with me..”

“It’s a very good deal indeed, and the rest of the money can go to the people who are going to help us, as we are only interested in getting one thing, I’m sure you know what.”

She gave a small smile that every bit as villainous as she hoped it would be.

“Ah yes..the relic..what kind of people are going to help you with such a ridiculous goal..?”

He wondered what kind of madmen they had found.

“Well that’s your job.” She said while beginning to formulate a plan in her head.

“Of course it is..” Sighing he stroked his beard “So i assume you have some sort of plan..?”

“One that won’t end as badly as the last one?” He sighed while remembering their failure to acquire a single pair of underwear.

“To be fair, that was mostly your fault. You leaked information somehow. “She commented bitterly “But yes i do have a rough plan in mind, but first i have a few questions.”

“Ask away..”

“Teleportation magic..does it exist?” Yuri stroked her smooth chin.

“Teleportation music..why yes it exists..but it’s only used for sending small letters, anything bigger than that craves a large amount of mana, and anything alive is something only gods can accomplish..there have been madmen who attempted teleporting themselves..but..they were never seen again..it’s assumed they were lost in the void..or disintegrated..”

Delem seemed to have a pained look on his face for a moment before regaining his composure “Why do you ask?” he narrowed his eyes.

“Why do i ask?” She smirked “Well because that’s how i’m going to get in the vault of course!”

“……”

“…..”

Both Hikaru and Delem had shocked blank looks on their faces, which Hikaru followed up with a worried expression while looking at Yuri.

“Did you not hear what i just said..?” Delem repeated “Anything living gets lost in the void or worse!”

“Yeah yeah. Just get me all the copies of teleportation spells and let me work the rest out.”

She dismissed his warning confidently.

“And the people you’re hiring, make it one or two people rich enough to keep personal items in the vault for safekeeping, preferably nobles..those are greedy and easy to hire..”

She glanced at Delem expectantly, who simply sat there looking bewildered.

“Well, what are you waiting for?”

She snapped at him.

“Get on with it!”
