Chapter 1: Just like that one novel!?!

Slowly opening his eyes, Yuri found only darkness surrounding him.

It was very either dark or he had become blind. Which wouldn’t be surprising considering he got hit by a lightning strike at point blank range.

Whether he was blind or not wasn’t the most concerning factor however. It was the fact that he was alive in the first place, after both getting hit by lightning and falling down from an unimaginable height.

He did not question his luck however, as it was one of the few things he learned to trust during his life.

His body felt extremely sluggish as he attempted to check his injuries, other than that however, he seemed largely uninjured. He felt incredibly weakened, but that was to be expected after being hit by a few million volts, and dropping down one the tallest buildings in existence.

Noticing a small sliver of light whilst looking around, he slowly and and with great difficulty got up and moved towards it.

It was incredibly difficult to keep his balance, which was presumably due to the lightning. Approaching the small source of light, which appeared to be coming from underneath a door, he noted the larger than usual design of the door.

“Such a peculiar building style…Where the hell am I?”

He was forced to close his eyes due to the pain that came when opening the door. His eyes seemingly unused to the light.

Slowly opening his eyes, he marveled at a most unusual sight. Various statues, all of different sizes and shapes, and all depicting the same woman, were scattered all over the large room.

The statues were posed in the common poses of Buddha, although fortunately none of them appeared fat or had any long plump ears.

The lighting in the room flickered slightly, the torches in the room burning uncertainly.

“A monks temple…? but the statues…never seen anything like them before..a cult maybe..?”

Concluding his admiration of the statues. He finally took a moment to look at himself. He had tried to not think of it too much as he didst favour seeing his most likely horribly scarred and mangled body.

What he saw however, greatly shocked him. Instead of his own hands, he found himself staring at a pair of small petite white hands. Looking further down, he noticed that there were two unnatural looking bumps on his chest.

“Oh god…i hope I don’t have some weird swelling because of the lightning..that would be..gross.”

Reluctantly giving his own chest a soft touch, he found that he felt no pain or discomfort, but an odd slight tingling sensation he had never experienced.

“Wait…wait wait wait. This turn of events..is eerily similar to some light novel I once read..don’t tell me..!?”

He froze as soon as his hand reached his crotch region.

If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

“I-it’s gone…he’s fucking gone, my little man is gone!?!?”

The shock finally made him, or rather her. Fully wake up from her drowsy state. Finally noticing that she wasn’t wearing the same black belted outfit she remembered.

Instead she was wearing a cute white blouse and a skirt similarly colored skirt, with a pair of very short heeled shoes. How she didn’t notice this until now, was a complete mystery.

Now panicking, and quickly making her way to one of the statues, which appeared to be made out of silvery, highly reflective material. Looking onto the reflection caused her mouth to hang open in disbelief.

Instead of a 28 year old, slightly rugged large man, the reflection instead showed a young 14 year old girl. Her eyes were golden brown, and her brunette hair reached just past her shoulders. She was clad in a very cute but tight fitting white blouse and skirt that reached just past her knees.

Seeing her new reflection, Yuri was befuddled enough that she fainted again. Collapsing onto the hard stone floor.

Once Yuri finally awoke again, an unfamiliar figure was looming over her. The figure stepped back slightly, allowing Yuri to observe her more thoroughly. It was a young black haired woman, wearing an outfit that appeared to be a mix between a Japanese miko and catholic nun uniform.

“Oh good..you’re finally awake” Her voice was soothing and calm “I’m so sorry that I wasn’t here when you woke up before dear, I had to go run an errand really quick, and didn’t expect you to wake up so soon”

The woman furrowed her brow slightly, seemingly worried about Yuri’s well being.

“Ah..um, its okay, really, it was my fault I fainted”

Yuri felt unwillingly more relaxed after her hearing the woman’s soothing tone.

(Okay..i have to be calm and try to find out what happened..this must be a dream, or a misunderstanding, or I’m hallucinating, it can’t be like that night novel… I can’t have just suddenly become a girl..that’s impossible.)

Taking a deep breath in order to calm down, Yuri attempted to calm her heart.

The woman patiently waited for Yuri to finish gathering her thoughts, wearing a kind expression.

“So…i have a lot of questions…but I’m just going to start with a simple one, what the hell is going on!?”

The nuns expression quickly changed to a worried and apologetic one as she looked down.

“I’m really sorry..we couldn’t really..sustain your life with how damaged your body was, your body was so badly burnt that no healing spell would work..so we started praying to Freiya…and then something in your pocket started glowing. After which you seemed to be completely healed”

She gave Yuri an apologetic look.

“We didn’t really dare to touch you after witnessing magic that powerful..so we just let you be where you were..please let me apologize on behalf of everyone, I wanted to move you to a bed but it was uncertain-”

The nun spoke quickly and her eyes appeared to tear up slightly, completely different from the calming aura she radiated earlier.

“Wait, wait stop!” Yuri interrupted her, barely able to keep up.

“Magic…? this isn’t some kind of prank show is it…did you give me plastic surgery…?”

She gave the woman a suspicious stare while holding her hands up to her cheeks, in order to check if they were real.

“Hm..? if its the healing spells we used, it was the second advanced version of the priest series…this one see?”

Finishing her sentence, she softly placed her palm on Yuri’s head. Which was also when Yuri noticed that she was significantly shorter than before, especially now that she had a person taller than her to compare to.

The woman mumbled something, her palm giving off a gently green light. Yuri’s body felt like she had just awoken from the best sleep of her life.

“Magic…magic…real magic…that can’t be…but then…quick tell me the name of this place, no actually, tell me the name of this world!” Yuri demanded.

“Hm…? we are in the temple of Freiya, in Magnadum…the name of the world..? did you lose your memories…oh dear, its Edos of course!” She exclaimed cheerfully while patting Yuri on the head.

Yuris eyes lost their light and grew blank.

“What is this…this is so impossible…”

She mumbled to herself.

“THIS IS EXACTLY LIKE IN THAT DAMN LIGHT NOVEEEEEEEEEEEL!!!”
