Vivian felt this whole situation was not as straightforward as it seemed-just a gut instinct. Somehow, she trusted Felix more than anyone else right now.
Hearing Vivian's declaration, Felix smiled. "Alright. Then, I'll have to trouble you for a bit longer. I have a task for you-I'll pay you five million dollars to flood social media with one name."
Vivian looked puzzled. "What name?"
"Averill Davis," Felix replied.
His plan was simple. He needed Averill to find Yvette. After all, Yale was a high-ranking member of Dragon Alliance, and he would surely have the means to keep her well beyond the reach of ordinary people. However, Averill was no ordinary person. When Felix returned to Tabiner Bay, he found Nattie waiting at the entrance with Sasha in a wheelchair.
She lunged at Felix, grabbing his collar. Her face contorted with rage as she shouted, " Felix, you bastard!"
"Can I help you?" Felix asked calmly.
Nattie's body trembled with anger. "How can you be so calm? Did you do this to Sasha's legs? Fess up if you're a real man!"
Felix glanced at Sasha, noticing the fear in her eyes. He knew this was just Nattie's speculation. He responded, "What does her being in a wheelchair have to do with me?"
Sasha was visibly frightened, but she gathered the courage to say, "Mom, i-it really wasn't Felix. Let's go home, please. I'm begging you.'
She was traumatized by Felix. Losing the ability to move her legs was horrible, but it was still better than ending up like Ruth, who was sold overseas and was living a fate worse than death.
Nattie glared at Felix and spat, "Felix, if I find out you had anything to do with this, I swear I'll come after you!"
Felix shrugged off the threat, unfazed. As he stepped into the courtyard, Yvonne entered right behind him.
She said, "I've heard everything."
"What exactly did you hear?" Felix was puzzled
"I know you've been expelled from Dragon Alliance," Yvonne replied. Ever since their encounter with the Great Imperial Sect, Yvonne had seemed more open, as if she had stopped holding back. Felix raised an eyebrow. "Well, aren't you well-informed?"
He was impressed by how quickly Yvonne had gotten the news. It was almost immediate- he had to admit that he had underestimated hernoveldrama
Yvonne pressed on, "If you want to regain your Dragon Alliance status, I can help you."
It was not that Yvonne was all-powerful. She simply had gotten a call from her boss tipping her off about the situation. Even she was surprised to learn Felix had been dismissed from Dragon Alliance so so quickly.
Felix was shocked. He had not expected Yvonne to have influence over Dragon Alliance. There's no such thing as a free lunch, right? What would I have to do? And please don't say something like sleeping with you."
Yvonne blushed, inwardly cursing herself. Her previous attempt at seduction had clearly left an impression. "There's a price, but it's small compared to regaining your Dragon Alliance status. You might even come out ahead." Felix's curiosity was piqued. He had initially planned to deal with Yale once Averill
contacted him, but Yvonne's offer intrigued him. "Interesting. Tell me about this 'price.' I'm all ears!"
