Billionaire With Husband 219

After Xena left, Vivian called Felix. "Mr. Zeller, the Phoenix Legion has completely surrounded the Great Imperial Sect. What should we do? Do we keep waiting?"

Felix had anticipated this. He knew mentors were like parents-no matter how Jaxon had treated Xena, she would always care for him unless he had done something unforgivable.

As the goddess of war, Xena understood the Earthen Hall's assassination capabilities all too well. Jaxon and his people would not stand a chance, so this was her only option. Moreover, Felix could tell her plan from her remark just now.

Once he was no longer a member of Dragon Alliance, the Earthen Hall would have no reason to keep their forces at the Great Imperial Sect.

"Hold our position for now. We'll see how things play out tomorrow night," Felix instructed.

"Yes, sir!" Vivian replied.

At dawn, Yvonne, who had not slept all night, finally made the call.

"Do you have a surprise for me?" the woman's voice chimed with a playful tone, indicating she was in a good mood.

"Yes, miss. I went to the Great Imperial Sect last night and discovered something-Felix is a member of Dragon Alliance."

It was widely known that to be selected by Dragon Alliance meant someone was certainly extraordinary-someone the average person would want to curry favor with.

"Oh? That's better than I expected. At least he's not a complete loser. Keep observing him. I should be able to spare a few days this month to meet him in person."

After hanging up, Yvonne's eyes flickered with uncertainty. She had held back some of her observations, like her suspicion that Felix might be more than just an ordinary Dragon Alliance member, and her gut feeling told her that he was behind the lightning strike that killed Gregory.

If Felix was just an ordinary member, why would all the other members of the Earthen Hall, except for the chief, gather? While Dragon Alliance had made it clear that harming one of their own was a direct challenge to their authority, something felt off.

As everything unfolded, she hid in the shadows and watched everything more clearly than anyone else. Even though she believed Felix was responsible for the strike that killed Gregory, it seemed too far-fetched-he was too young to wield such terrifying power.

Nonetheless, Yvonne had no proof, so she decided to investigate further on her own, lest she receive an earful.

Around noon, Felix arrived at a small two-story building on the outskirts of Avesburgh. He had received a text from an unknown number, likely from Ruth.

The message said Sasha had an important dinner to attend later in the night and had to reschedule their apology meeting for lunchtime.

It was obvious that the chance Felix had given Sasha to reflect had been wasted. He knocked on the tightly closed shutter, and it quickly opened to reveal two scruffy young

men.

""Felix Zeller?"noveldrama

"That's me."

""Come on in."

The moment Felix stepped inside, the shutter clanked shut behind him. It was clear enough that something unpleasant was about to go down.

Still, Felix could not help but feel puzzled. Sasha knew he could fight, so what was the point of hiring these thugs?

As he pulled back the curtain, Felix found himself facing about a dozen people. Only three were seated-Sasha, Ruth, and a man.

The seated man grinned when he saw Felix.

"Well, well, what a coincidence! I didn't expect we'd meet again so soon and under these circumstances."
