Yale was taken aback, but he quickly chuckled and said dismissively, "You young folks sure know how to talk big these days."
If it were not for his worry about the real Dragon Lord showing up too soon, he would have swatted Felix like a fly.
"This is your aunt, Yvette Harrington, right?" Yale asked, tossing a photo onto the table.
Felix's expression faltered as he picked up the photo. The woman in the picture was attractive, with a sweet smile. Time seemed to have been kind to her. She was indeed his mother's younger sister-there was no way Felix would not recognize her. "So this is your trump card?" Felix asked, his voice steady.
Yale smiled. "Don't you think it's enough? I've investigated you thoroughly. Your father's relatives are worthless-you've taught them a lesson before I even had to lift a finger. But your aunt... She's different, isn't she?"
Felix remained silent, memories flooding back. The Harrington sisters had their share of conflicts when they were younger, leading to minimal contact later in life. However, Felix's mother, Cordelia Harrington, had always expressed regret and asked him to visit Yvette on her behalf if he ever had the chance.
Even though he had no real bond with Yvette, as the last blood relative from his mother's side, he had intended to check on her once things with Curtis were settled. Yet, it seemed Yale had gotten to her first.
Yale continued, "Stay put in Avesburgh, and your aunt will be safe. Even though you can't find her, I promise she's living quite comfortably."
After all, Yale was the Dragon Alliance's chief leader, and his capabilities were not to be underestimated. A single photograph was enough to prove his point.
"You've won," Felix conceded, standing up to leave. Until he could locate Yvette, he had no choice but to play along with Yale's demands.noveldrama
"I've removed you from Dragon Alliance as Xena requested. I take it you don't have a problem with that?"
"Got it."
As Felix exited the bedroom, Xena noticed his numb expression and frowned. She could not help but ask, "Are you really so indifferent about losing your Dragon Alliance status?" Felix countered, "Isn't this what you wanted? Now, you can act freely once you find dirt on me."

Outside, Belle could not contain her mockery. "Felix, let's see how cocky you are without Dragon Alliance's support. There's always a spot for you in the Phoenix Legion's interrogation room." Vivian nearly lost it and was ready to put Belle in her place, finding her unbearable. As they left the hotel, Felix raised his empty hands to Vivian.
He said, "Yale took my Dragon Ring. There's no need for you to follow me anymore."
He did not explain much to Vivian, knowing it was impossible for them to contact Eloise, nor did they have the power to influence someone like Yale.
Vivian was shocked, struggling to believe what she was seeing. According to Dragon Alliance's rules, whoever possessed the Dragon Ring was the Dragon Lord, and no questions would be asked. Despite her dismay, Vivian took a deep breath and declared, "Mr. Zeller, unless Dragon Alliance recalls me or assigns me a new task, I'll remain by your side. That won't change."
