Chapter 419

During the ride, Matthew asked Trevor, "How do you feel after the meal?"

was all covered in blood.

Trevor smacked his lips and savored the taste. He replied with a smile, "This is delicious. Renae's an amazing cook. Whoever marries her will be lucky to taste her cooking every day." Upon finishing his sentence, Trevor felt a warm sensation in his nose. When he touched his nose, he felt that his hand was moist and sticky. So, he checked his hand and saw i "How did I end up with a nosebleed?"

"You ate too much." Matthew shook his head.

All the dishes had libido-boosting effects. The worst part was that Trevor kept eating like there was no tomorrow. Undoubtedly, he'd get a nosebleed.

Trevor furrowed his brows. "That can't be it. I only ate a little more than usual. Eating a lot shouldn't cause a nosebleed."

Matthew chuckled. "Those dishes boost your libido. You ate them but didn't spend any intimate time with a woman. Of course, you'll end up with a nosebleed."

Trevor was taken aback and then blushed. "What should I do now?"

Matthew grinned and said, "You need to find your girlfriend now."

Trevor's face turned beet red. "I don't have one."

Matthew was speechless. "You don't have a girlfriend, huh? Looks like you'll just have to deal with it."

Trevor pinched his nose. "When will this bleeding stop? It's not going to continue forever, right?"

Matthew broke into laughter. "It depends on how strong your libido is. If you're still a virgin, you might bleed for half an hour. If you're a ladies' man, your libido would be done and dusted already. It might clear up in a minute or two." Trevoer's face turned pale. "I'm still a virgin. What should I do? If this keeps up for half an hour, I could die."

Matthew was just kidding around, but he didn't expect Trevor to actually be a virgin. What the hell, Trevor!

It made sense that he was so inexperienced. If he never had any experience with a woman, he was surely clueless about how the real world worked.noveldrama

The car left the countryside and headed into the city, making its way toward Gembrooke Building.

Trevor held his nose for a while. As soon as he let go, blood started dripping down it again. He started to panic.

"What's the plan? This isn't getting any better. Should I go to the hospital?"

Matthew smirked and responded, "The nosebleed is just about done. Hang on for another minute, and it'll be fine."

Feeling apprehensive, Trevor was skeptical about Matthew's words. "How will it get better in just another minute?" Still amused, Matthew continued, "It's a long story, so I won't go into it."

Trevor remained doubtful. As the car drove on, it sped past the towering building. One minute later, the car came to a stop.

Trevor kept pinching his nose.

Seeing Matthew step out of the car, he followed suit as well. As Matthew entered the elevator of Gembrooke Building, he noticed Trevor was still holding his nose.

"You can let go now. It's no longer bleeding."

Trevor wasn't entirely convinced, so he carefully took his hand away from his nose. Once he confirmed that the bleeding had stopped, he let go and looked at his reflection in the stainless steel elevator wall

"It looks like it's stopped bleeding for real. How did you figure out it'd stop in a minute? What's the reason behind that?"

Matthew remained silent. Feeling

awkward Trevor decided to dropzthe

subject and stop dwelling on it. He kept wiping his nose, using the reflection in the elevator wall to help himself see better.

When the elevator door opened, Matthew walked out and came to the front desk of the office. Then, he saw the commotion inside.

Matthew was stupefied. With a crack, a monitor fell to the ground, shattering the screen into pieces.

After a bang, an office desk was knocked over. The documents and office supplies were scattered everywhere. The clatter of office items hitting the floor went on and on.

A bunch of burly men went wild and broke the office stuff. The employees of the company huddled in the corners, visibly shaken. Matthew frowned. What the hell happened? Watching them vandalizing everything without a car, Matthew raised his voice and bellowed, "Cut it out!"
