It’s currently Friday morning and Eizan and Mio are laying on his bed. Eizan and Mio are cuddled up together. They had been sleeping together lately and Mio was only using her room to store her stuff. Eizan was staring at the beautiful girl who was currently lying on his chest breathing softly. He was giggling inside at the fact that a small amount of drool was had pooled up on his chest. He thought to himself. “I’m glad were done with work this week. She really seemed like she needed a break. Maybe I should take her somewhere special.” He sighed and slowly removed himself from the bed, being extra careful not to wake her.
He stared at the beautiful and innocent girl laying on his bed. “Why do I feel like I’m doing something wrong. She’s so innocent and pure. I feel like I’m slowly corrupting something. We still haven’t gone all the way though.” He got a devilish smile on his face. “I like this feeling too much. Maybe I am just as bad as that old demon.” He giggled to himself. “I guess this is what the devil feels like when he gets his hands on an angel.”
He had a big smile on his face as he quietly exited the bedroom. He slowly walked over to his bag and grabbed a laptop from inside. He sat down at the table and got to work on something. A few minutes later he laughed and mumbled to himself. “I don’t think normal people make this much money on the stock market. I guess living like a pauper for all those months paid off.” On the computer screen in front of him there are multiple graphs and charts pulled up that are tracking stocks. “This feels wrong. I’ve made so much money off of other peoples work. All I did was do things according to the algorithm that I wrote.” He stared at the screen a frowned. “Damnit, what am I going to do with all this.” He couldn’t help but sigh internally. “I say I want to live a normal life but, how can I with money like this. Why did I tell her I was poor. Sure, she knows about grandpa’s money but… Will she be mad at me for hiding this?” He frowned. “Shouldn’t I be happy about this? Should I tell her about this? Crap how would I even explain myself? I could just donate it to an orphanage.”
As if on cue Mio walked out of the bedroom in an oversized shirt with her hair a mess. She let out a big yawn and did a stretch that made his heart skip a beat. He was so enamored by the beauty in front of him that he almost forgot to close his laptop. He gently closed the clamshell of his computer and smiled at her. “Good morning.”
She smiled sleepily. “Good morning, I’m going to take a shower. Can you make coffee?”
He chuckled at his gorgeous fiancé. “Sure.”
Mio sauntered to the bathroom and Eizan’s frown came back.
Across town Carter was staring at a computer screen. “This person has been making the same purchases as me. He’s even making money off of things I never thought to buy. I wonder who it is?” His brows furrowed. “He’s not made any large trades yet but he’s steadily increasing. Does he have my algorithm?” Carter chuckled. “How could that be? Noone knows about it besides me. I haven’t even told my family.” He stared at screen. “Should I investigate this company?” He stared at the screen and muttered. “Tetraxial money group.” He looked up from his desk and yelled. “Alicia!!!”
Alicia came running out of her office. “Yes boss?”
“Find everything you can about Tetraxial money group.”
Alicia sighed. “Will do.” She made her way back towards her office. She closed the door and cursed. “Where is my assistant when I need her?” If she knew that Mio was currently just waking up, she would have been even angrier. Alicia started looking at her computer for a few minutes. “Why would I be looking into this small company? They have very little shares.”
Mio had already come out of the shower and was drying her hair with a towel. Eizan was eyes were locked on her the whole time as he poured coffee. He almost spilled coffee all over the counter. “Should I tell her? Will she be mad? Why would she be mad?” Question after question was going through his brain. “Damnit what’s the point of being smart if I don’t know how to deal with women.” He sighed.
Mio looked over at him curiously. “Are you done with the coffee?”
Eizan shook himself out of a daze. “Y-yeah.” He walked over to her and put the coffee down in front of her as she sat on the couch.
She picked up the coffee and felt the warmness of the cup. She sipped it happily and then asked. “So, what are you hiding?”
Eizan who had a mouth full of coffee almost spit it all over the floor. “W-what makes you think I’m hiding something?”
Mio shook her head. She wanted to tell him she was used to it. She had noticed subtle clues in his facial expressions lately. She wasn’t 100% sure he was hiding something but she was almost sure. “Let’s just call it a hunch. I have been around you a lot lately. Is it something bad?”
Eizan shook his head. He frowned. “Wait, I…”
“You what.”
He sighed. “Can I just keep this to myself for now?”

Mio shook her head. “The cats out of the bad now. There’s really no point in keeping it from me.”
Eizan stood up and walked over to his computer at the table. “Come here.” He sat down and opened the clamshell. After a few seconds he was staring at the same screen as earlier. Mio was slowly approaching. “Listen I wasn’t hiding anything on purpose. This was just a hobby I picked up and it had some unexpected results.”
Mio stopped her approach and stared at him. “What kind of results?”
“Ummm… Just come over here and see for yourself.”
Mio came over and took a look at the computer screen from over his left shoulder. She had a confused look on her face. “Eizan, what am I looking at?”
Eizan sighed. “You’re looking at the stock portfolio of the shell company that I created.”
Mio’s eyes widened at the number at the top of the screen. She looked at Eizan and her eyes narrowed. “How did you get 110,000,000 yen?”
He sighed. “I just invested it with the algorithm I made on a whim about a year ago. I thought it might be nice to have a little extra money. I put some of my money in this account all the time. Honestly the computer has been making most of the trades for me. I hadn’t checked it for a few months until last week. It might have gone a little overboard.”
Mio put a hand on her forehead. “You call this a little overboard? What are you going to do with all of it?”
Eizan shrugged. “I thought about donating it to something. I don’t really need the money. Do I?”
Mio shook her head. “Didn’t you say you wanted to avoid joining your grandfather’s company. Couldn’t you just do this and live your life peacefully?”
Eizan frowned. “As if he would ever let me live peacefully?”
Mio giggled. “Your probably right. This would most likely make things worse.” She read the company name on the screen. “Tetraxial trading group? Where did you come up with the name?”
Eizan laughed. “It just sounded cool. Plus, it fits the algorithm perfectly. I used four different algorithms and combined them into one to make something cool. I got the idea from a book I was reading on textiles. It also means having four axes.”
Mio nodded. “Ok but it still doesn’t explain this? Wait did the number just go up?”
Eizan nodded. “It rarely goes down. I based it off of these equations.” Eizan pulled up a complicated looking document on his computer. “I used these five equations. The four of them work in tandem and feed the outputs into the fifth one.”
Mio was staring at the equations on the computer screen. “I thought you said math was your worst subject?”
Eizan scratched his head. “I mean most of the equations in those books are frankly inefficient. It’s hard to use the common way of doing things. I don’t really get why, but the math problems in most textbooks make no sense to me.”
Mio shook her head. “Doesn’t that mean you’re better at math than what has been discovered.”
Eizan shrugged. “Maybe. I’m not really sure. I’ve never tried anything too complicated. I’ve always found math kind of tedious.”
Mio sighed and walked towards the couch. She flopped down with an exhausted look on her face. Eizan stood up from his chair and looked over the back of the sofa at her. “Are you mad at me?”
Mio looked up. “No. Sometimes It just takes me a minute to process the things you do.”
Eizan shrugged and smiled. “I’m just glad you’re not mad.”
Mio laughed. “More like exasperated. You act like what you did is no big deal. Most people would never be able to do what you did and you just did it on a whim. As a normal person it’s frankly a little unnerving.”
Eizan frowned. “I see.” He hung his head. “I hate that.”
Mio looked up at him with a face full of worry. “I know you keep saying you want to be normal but I think it’s impossible. But it’s also not necessarily a bad thing.”
Eizan shook his head. “You just said it was unnerving.”
Mio giggled. “Yeah, I did, but frustrating is a better word for it. Do you have any clue how hard I work to pass a math test?”
Eizan sighed. “No, and I doubt I ever will.”
“Exactly. But I do see how challenging other things are for you.”
Eizan nodded. “Yeah, like not having people look at me like a freak.”
Mio stood up from the couch and gave him a hug. “I didn’t say you were a freak.”
Eizan mumbled. “You didn’t have to. I can tell.”
Mio shook her head. “I think you’re amazing.”
“Thanks.”
Mio pouted. “You really are too hard on yourself. You’re all worried about being a bad guy. But from what I just saw you’re not. You even thought about giving the money way.”
Eizan shook his head. “That’s just because I wanted to get rid of the money. If I just gave it away, I wouldn’t have to deal with it anymore.”
Mio giggled. “You don’t really need it anyway. Why don’t you just use it to help the less fortunate.”
Eizan gave her a strange look. “I’m surprised.”
Mio tilted her head. “About what?”
“You don’t think we should keep it for ourselves?”
“Why? Do we need it?”
Eizan shook his head. “Not particularly. I’ve already told my grandfather that I would take over his company after college. I’m sure I won’t need money.”
Mio rested her head against his chest. “Just do what ever you want with it. I don’t really care. But if you want my opinion, I will gladly give it to you.”
Eizan nodded. “I think giving some of it away is fine. There’s an orphanage near my old apartment. I should just donate it to them.”
Mio giggled. “Do you have a soft spot for children?”
Eizan laughed. “Maybe, I’ve never really thought about it.”
Mio gave him a kiss on the cheek. “So, what are we going to do today? Did you talk to Ome?”
“Yeah, he said they would meet us at the park around noon.”
“Where are we going?”
Eizan shrugged. “No clue. I didn’t ask”
Mio frowned and mumbled. “Sometimes I don’t get men.”
