Back in Nagoya, Ren and Ome are meeting in front of an amusement park. Ren is dressed in a white sun dress waiting for Ome in front of the park. Running from the side was Ome. “Sorry, to keep you waiting.”

Ren shook her head. “I just got here myself so I haven’t been waiting long. Besides aren’t you twenty minutes early?”

Ren looked over at Ome who seemed to be lost in thought. Ome hadn’t noticed since he was in a hurry but to him Ren looked like an angel at this moment. Her piercing purple eyes mad his heart leap in his chest. The loosely fitting sun dress fluttering slightly in the breeze made him lose focus. He thought to himself “She’s so beautiful. Do I really have the guts to ask out someone this amazing?” He was immediately brought back to reality when he realized Ren had closed the distance between them and was staring up at him.

She raised her voice a little to get his attention. “Ome, Ome are you in there?”

He shook his head vigorously. “S-sorry what was that.”

“You spaced out there for a few seconds. Is something wrong?”

“U-uhm. I uh was just a little surprised about something.”

Ren tilted her head to the side. “What’s there to be surprised about?”

“Uh.”

She narrowed her eyes at him. “Are you hiding something?”

Ome hesitated for a few seconds. “I-I just thought you were so pretty that I was a little taken aback.”

Ren blushed all the way up to her ears. She put her head down and relied softly. “T-thanks.” She looked up at Ome who seemed to dress up for today. “You look rather handsome today too.”

Ome was stunned for a few seconds. “Thanks.” They both blushed and turned away from each other. “So, Ren where would you like to go first.”

She looked up at him with a worried look on her face. “Actually, um, I have never been to an amusement park before.”

Ome’s eyes were opened wide. “Really? Well, we will have to make sure this time is memorable.” He grabbed her hand and started pulling her towards the entrance. He did this impulsively and didn’t realize the effect it was having on her.

Ren was staring at his hand and her heart was racing. “His hand is so big and strong. I can’t believe he already grabbed my hand. I hope I’m not sweaty.” She looked up at Ome who had a big smile on his face. “This guy doesn’t even know what he’s doing to me right now.”

He looked over at Ren. “What would you like to do first. There a small rides, themed rides, slow rides, fast rides, souvenir stores and even a haunted house?”

She looked up at am with a worried look. “I’ve never been on a ride before so I think something slow would be a good start.”

Ome put his hand on his chin and thought for a few seconds. “I know there’s a themed ride with the park’s mascot. Let’s try that first I think it’s fairly gentle.”

Ren tilted her head “The parks mascot?”

Ome pointed towards a girl carrying a cute white cat doll. “See that doll that girl is carrying it’s called Yuki. It’s the parks mascot.”

Ren looked up at him expectantly “Can I get one of those dolls?”

Ome tilted his head “Of course we can get one.”

Ren jumped up and down excitedly “Yay.”

Ome was at a loss for words because of her cute display. “Has she always been this cute?”

They rode a few of the slower rides. Ren seemed to really enjoy the boat ride. She was clinging to Ome’s arm the whole time as she gazed around at the different displays. “Are you enjoying yourself?” Ren smiled and nodded. “Would you like to get something to eat?”

“Sure.”

“There seems to be some stalls over in that direction why don’t we stop for a while and eat.”

They decided on ice cream. Ren was enjoying her treat as Ome gazed at her with a small smile on his face. “I’m glad she seems happy. I was worried about how the day would go after she said she had never been to an amusement park before. He felt the small box in his pocket. I hope she says yes.” He saw that she had a small amount of cream on the side of her mouth and grabbed a napkin. He reached over and wiped it off her cheek. Ren blushed.

She mumbled “Sometimes you’re just.”

Ome tilted his head in confusion “What was that?”

Ren shook her head “Nothing?”

“O-ok”

They continued their tour of the park. They went towards the haunted house. “Ren are you going to be ok in the haunted house?”

She looked a little pale. “I should be fine, I think. C-can you hold my hand when we go through.”

Ome smiled and held out his hand towards her. “Sure.”

Ren was blushing as she reached out and grabbed his hand. “T-thanks.”

“Any time.”

They walked hand in hand towards the entrance of the haunted house. Ome could here the whispers of some of the people around them. He thought to himself “She’s so cute. It’s amazing how she can ignore the whispers of everyone around us.” He looked around and could see some people smiling and other younger men frowning. He just smiled at the disgruntled looking men. “Jealous much. Hell, what am I thinking. Even I would be jealous if it wasn’t me.” He thought of another man holding Ren’s hand and immediately felt something in the pit of his stomach. “I don’t know what I would do if she left me. If it had been a few weeks ago I would have been fine seeing her with another. But now.” He looked over at the beautiful girl whose eyes sparkled like amethysts. She had started to cling to his arm as they entered the haunted house. “There’s just no way I wouldn’t fall in love with her.”

“Don’t worry Ren. Everything here is fake.”

She nodded. “I’ll be ok as long as I’m with you.”

Ome’s heart was about to leap out of his chest. “I didn’t know she could be this timid. It’s to much for my heart.”

Ren was too nervous to see the look on his face. They made there way through the haunted house and she was relieved that she wasn’t that frightened. She looked over at Ome who had a stern look on his face. “I feel safe standing next to him. I wouldn’t be this unafraid if I was alone.” She grabbed his arm and pressed her rather large lumps against his arm. Ome tensed a little and Ren giggled to herself. “He’s still a boy after all. I think he might be more afraid of me than the monsters in this haunted house.” She smiled at him without him noticing.

After the haunted house Ren needed to use the restroom and Ome waited outside. While waiting outside two young girls approached Ome. He had cleaned up for his date with Ren today and looked especially handsome at the moment. “Hey are you here alone?”

Ome pointed at himself “Are you talking to me?”

The one girl came closer. “Of course, were talking to you. Would you like to hang out with us?”

Ome smiled “I’m sorry I’m here with someone else today.”

“Is it your girlfriend?”

Ome scratched his cheek. “Well, no she’s not my girlfriend but were rather close.”

Just then Ren came out of the restroom and grabbed Ome by the arm. “Ome let’s go.”

Ome looked at her and smiled “Ok.”

As she was dragging him away the two girls frowned.

He could see the desperate look on Ren’s face. “Ren are you ok.”

She looked up at him with a small frown on her face. “Do you know those two girls?”

Ome shook his head “Nope, I have never seen them before in my life. They just came out of nowhere and started talking to me. I was kind of confused and didn’t know how to get them to leave. You saved me back there.”

Ren sighed. “I’m glad I could be of some help.” She looked up at him with slightly teary eyes. “Did you think they were cute?”

Ren got a weird look on his face. “Not really. How could they compare too.” He immediately shut up.

Ren tilted her head “Compare to what?”

Ome scratched his cheek in embarrassment. “Can I tell you later?”

She narrowed her eyes. “Ome don’t start keeping secrets.”

He sighed and patted her on the head. “How could they compare to you.”

Ren immediately blushed. She grabbed him by the hand and started pulling him along. “Where to next.”

Ome smiled as he noticed how red her ears had become. “Do you want to try a roller coaster?”

Ren tensed up a little bit. “I-I don’t know. They seem kind of scary.”

Ome sighed. “They are scary but in an exciting way. We can try one of the slower ones first to see if you like it.”

Ren turned back and nodded.
