Chapter 16: Summon the Devil and He will come!

{Eve}

When I was cleared to leave the hospital Levi and I went on our honeymoon. That was fine by me because I needed a break from being held captive in a hospital or being shot at while being on the job. If I could get away from those two things for a little bit that's fine by me.

The honeymoon was at a summer house that Levi owned in Hawaii. Everything about this house just screamed vacation! It was right next to the beach too. Not to mention the beach is a private beach and it's beautiful.

The second day we got to our honeymoon I went out to the beach just to relax. There was a small patio that was right on the beach next to the house. When I got there I sat down on one of the lounge chairs and this chair had an umbrella hanging over it which was perfect because it was around one hundred degrees out and sunny. Good thing I don't get sunburn but even still the umbrella was nice to sit under because of the heat.

I was dressed in tan shorts and a baby blue t-shirt. I brought sunglasses with me because I was so used to wearing sunglasses while I was on my job anyway. Although the sunglasses I had on me were just normal sunglasses. The sunglasses that I wear when I'm working are high tech glasses used for gathering information and recording what happened on the job.

I also decided to bring a book with me. Something that wouldn't take too long to read because I was always on the go and sitting down for a moment to rest.

As I was reading I saw a shadow looming over me and I didn't even have to look up to see who it was. "Hi Levi! What's up?"

Levi took the book out of my hands and after placing a bookmark in it, he pulled me onto his lap after sitting down on the chair next to me. "I was just wondering what my beautiful wife is up to? Much to my surprise I found her sitting at the beach reading a book!"

I chuckled, "Let me guess you expected to find me in the gym working out didn't ya?"

"Yeah I was. But you should slow down a little bit and try to take a break without being sick every once and a while," Levi said.

"I find it funny that we didn't get together until my body decided to start developing more abilities," I said. "I guess I'm going to have to reel it in on being reckless when it comes down to the job now that I'm married huh?"

"Whatever it takes for you to get your job done and come back home safely. If it means being reckless then do that," Levi said. "Although when you are home you're probably going to have to learn some etiquette when it comes down to being a billionaire's wife."

"Like?" I said.

"Simple things like no swearing in front of guests, dress in elegant clothing, having the proper posture when sitting down at the dinner table and walking down the stairs etc, etc…" Levi answered. "So you pretty much have to act like Royalty in a way. But no pressure. And don't worry if you wind up finding yourself having to fight someone while you're guests and whatnot, just do what comes natural to you and worry about fixing things later."

"I see. I have a bad feeling though," I said.

"What?" Levi asked.

"I have a feeling that Trainer Michael is going to be right. He'll probably be training me on how to use my Demon Power at least," I sighed. "I guess that's a good thing because I'll have to figure out how to get that power under control at least. I just don't like the idea that it's going to be Satan teaching me! And no, I'm not respecting him, not one little bit. I'll be polite out in public but as far as respect goes, yeah he's not getting any from me."

Levi chuckled, "Of course he's not."

I paused. "I seriously hope I didn't just summon him by saying his name."

Levi burst into laughter at that statement. "Yeah tell me you hate the guy without telling me you hate the guy!" He composed himself, "Although he did just pop your finger out of its socket and back in so casually."

"Good thing I'm not a normal human and we were on his turf or that wouldn't have gone over so well. However, if he starts training me again…" I said.

Levi had me turn around and face him. "Listen to me, just remember that whatever happens you're mine and no one else's."

I smiled and kissed him. I straddled him and I was going to unzip his pants when he stopped me. "What?"

He shook his head. "Let's go to the bedroom."

I nodded and followed him back into the house and we walked into our bedroom and Levi closed the door. Levi didn't waste any time pushing me down on the bed and taking my clothes off. I returned the favor and as soon as Levi got on top of me he put one finger inside of me and thrust it in and out of me. I moaned in pleasure when he did that.

I thought about taking control like I usually do during sex but before I could do anything else Levi decided to take charge and he grabbed a condom. Once he put it on he started thrusting inside of me. I couldn't help but moan his name over and over as he kept thrusting into me. I climaxed and after I climaxed Levi came next.

After we had sex it wasn't but a minute later when Levi was ready to go again. He smiled after he got another condom. "We're going to be here for a while. Good thing we have servants that I can summon if we don't feel like going out to eat."

I giggled, "Fine by me."

I lost count how many times we had sex but it was enough to make it hard for me to walk afterwards. I did get hungry and we did exactly what Levi suggested. We summoned a servant to order some food and we didn't really leave the room much, at least for the first couple of days for the honeymoon.

After the honeymoon it happened just as Eve feared it would. Eve found out that her Uncle was going to be training her to at least control her Demon Power. We found out that Eve would be training with Trainer Michael when my parents and George decided to drop by for a visit.

We were in the middle of having tea time which is what my parents loved to have before brunch when Eve tilted her head ever so slightly. I didn't even hear the bullet whiz past her until I heard a soft thud on the ground next to her.

I could tell she was just trying so hard to keep herself composed because of the look on her face as she tried to casually take a sip of tea with her shaking hands. Before she could take another sip her cup broke. Mom, Dad and George's jaw dropped.

Eve stood up from her seat and she was angry. "Okay first of all, I would love to be able to have tea with my new family members without the fear of getting shot at! And second if you came here to tell me about my training you could do it without doing the sniper test Trainer Michael!"

For a moment there was silence. Nobody said anything what Eve did next showed exactly what she was capable of as a soldier. At first I thought she was dancing until she caught one of them in midair. She caught one of the daggers that had been thrown at her. She spun around and threw the dagger to the right of her. It looked like there was no one there until we heard someone yelp in pain.

"Seriously? Can't a trainer evaluate their students without being attacked?" Trainer Michael stepped out of the shadows smirking as he held the dagger that Eve threw at him in his hand.

Eve narrowed her eyes. "You? Attacked? That was an evaluation? You've got to be kidding me!"

Trainer Michael kept his smirk as he said, "You know it's the part of the job that any time you could be attacked or the people around you could be attacked. Good news! I get to start training you again!"

Eve's eyes went wide in horror. "What!"

He nodded. "Oh yeah, so I expect you to be at Building C which is right next door to the gym in town for training at 10 am tomorrow! And not a minute late. Oh, and you passed the test! As I expected you would because you don't get the title of Prodigy for nothing you know."

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

He looked over when he saw that my Mom, Dad and George's jaws were dropped. My jaw dropped too.

Trainer Michael laughed, "You should see the look on your faces! Anyway, I shall take my leave now. Bye!"

After Trainer Michael left, Dad said, "Is there any way we can charge him with assault?"

Eve shook her head. "Nope. It won't work. People have tried to go after him even high powered government officials have tried to charge him. They'll let him go and say that he was doing his job. The same thing goes with me. He's good at what he does unfortunately part of what he does is to possibly traumatize someone. Don't worry about me, I'm fine and you guys will be fine too as long as I'm around!"

George smirked. "Aww that's cute. You know you won't be around us all the time right?"

Eve groaned, "You know what I meant George."

"Okay Eve, I think we should go ahead and get you changed into a clean dress," Mom said.

Eve nodded. "Sure."

After Eve and Mom left Dad turned to me. "So I think we should try to protect her as much as possible without interfering with her job. Because I have a feeling that if you told her to quit she'd probably say hell no to that. Not to mention it looks like she probably isn't in a position to quit. She probably can't quit regardless."

I sighed, "Yeah I know. She already feels that her Dad is a traitor because he left his position. So she's told me that she doesn't want to be like that. So yeah, she's not going to quit regardless."

"I see," Dad said. "So that goes back to my original question, how are we going to protect her without interfering with her job?"

"I'm not sure if we can protect her," I said.

"What about a tracking device?" George suggested.

I raised an eyebrow. "A tracking device?"

"At least we'll know where she is at all times," George said.

"And exactly how will that help?" I asked.

George shrugged. "I don't know but at least it's something."

"Yeah but I doubt that will help at all but thanks for the suggestion I guess?" I said.

"No problem," George replied.

I had a feeling that Eve's training would get more intense as the days went by. If things got out of hand with her training then I'd have to talk to Ms. Terra and figure out what to do. But for now all I could do was keep an eye on things.

I paced back and forth in the room that I was escorted to as soon as I reported to Building C. I couldn't help but be nervous to get my training started already. I knew that if I was placed in a waiting room before training that meant I was possibly getting ready to be tested on and not the normal testing that's to most Agents.

As soon as Trainer Michael walked in with his signature sinister smile I had to try my best to keep my composure. He hissed, "Sit. Down. Now!"

I did as I was told and Trainer Michael pulled up a chair and sat down across from me. "I bet you're wondering why you're in a waiting room instead of being at the training grounds, am I right?"

I nodded.

"You're going to be tested on of course! It'll be done once a week and yes, it will be painful!" Trainer Michael said.

I groaned, "Of course it will be painful." Then I frowned. "Exactly what type of testing are we talking about?"

Trainer Michael smiled a wicked smile. "I'm glad you asked that my dear! You know the saying that goes, 'Summon the Devil and He will come?'"

"You mean the joke that everyone says if someone says your name then you'll pop up?" I asked with a smirk.

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah I know about that joke. And because I'm considered something like the boogeyman I'm actually kind of honored. But in all seriousness, that saying is a saying that outsiders use when it comes down to a certain mythical being named Satan." He took a deep breath and let it out. "I'm going to tell you a tale to get some better understanding of what we're looking for with you. Considering I've been cleared to tell it."

I raised an eyebrow. "Okay?"

"Alrigthy then," Trainer Michael said. He gave me a side eye. "Make sure you sit still for this because you're going to have to listen very closely."

I nodded. The story Trainer Michael told me sounded a lot like a fairytale. But if it was necessary information then I had to sit and listen.

Sixty years ago….

A group of scientists were exploring a cave. They didn't tell anyone where this cave was because they were conducting an experiment that would help them perfect a chemical that could speed up the progress of human's ability to heal themselves. At the end of this cave was said to be the entrance of a place called Hell.

Of course the scientists didn't believe what they were told about this place before they came but they would soon believe. The scientists' names were: Gary, Lacy, Bob, Stacy, Wlima and Fred.

After stopping for one hundredth time for Fred and Lacy to take a smoke break Stacy was rather irritated.

"You know if you two didn't smoke so much then maybe we'd be at the place already! Besides I doubt the drug we're working on will help heal lung cancer," Stacy snapped.

Lacy rolled her eyes. "Doesn't matter because my son Lab Rat 42 is going to take over the business once I'm gone! He's a genius! He's already handling the finances and he's doing quite well for himself. Not to mention he's already expressed interest in picking up where I left off."

"Excuse me? Did you just call your son Lab Rat 42?" Stacy snarled. "You little Bitch! This is a human you're talking about and not an animal!"

"Actually humans are animals, why do you think there's a scientific name for us in the books? We're a species just like monkeys, dogs, cats, etc, etc…" Fred said.

"That still doesn't make it right!" Stacy said.

"And who do you think you are telling me how to raise my son?" Lacy snapped. "He's fine with the name."

Stacy rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say, whatever helps you sleep at night."

Lacy put out her cigarette and stomped on it with her foot in anger. She was getting ready to throw and punch at Stacy when Bob stepped in between them. "Listen we're both going for the same thing, let's not ruffle each other's feathers until we get what we want. Once we get what we want, we go our separate ways. Sound good?"

Lacy scoffed, "Fine by me!"

The cave started to shake a bit as if there was an earthquake but what they didn't know was that they woke up the demon who guarded the entrance to Hell that was deep within the cave. There was a loud echoing voice that sounded throughout the cave, "WHO DARES DISTURB MY SLUMBER? IF YOU'RE HERE TO MAKE A DEAL, THEN YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PAY THE PRICE!"

"And what price would that be?" Wilma called out.

"It depends on what you're disturbing my slumber for," the voice answered. Out from the shadows stood what looked like a young man who had to be in his late twenties. His eyes were entirely black. There were no white areas beyond his irises at all. He was dressed in a white shirt that looked like something a pirate from the medieval times would wear and loose brown pants that were cut off just below the knees. He wore no sandals but he had the mark of an upside down cross on his forehead.

Bob narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?"

"I do believe I should be asking you that!" The man snapped. "You're the ones who have disturbed my slumber! But since you've come here you're looking to make some sort of deal right?"

"Well not so much a deal but we are looking for an ingredient that can only be found in this cave or so we were told," Fred said.

The man chuckled. Then he pointed. "Oh right I know who you are now. You're Fred, that's Stacy, Lacy, Bob, the quiet one over here is Gary and that's Wilma!"

"Exactly, how do you know Gary's deaf?" Stacy asked.

"He's deaf now but he won't be deaf for much longer and I'll make it so that everyone remembers that he was able to hear this whole entire time. That way no one will be suspicious of him. So I'm willing to make a deal with you guys because I already know what you're looking for," the man said. "I give you the ingredient you're looking for and in return you'll be vessels for my brothers and sisters. And you'll help me in my search to find my vessel."

Everyone exchanged a look and Fred spoke up, "And if we decide not to make a deal with you?"

"Well then you just won't get the ingredient for your little drug you're making," the man said.

"And why do you need a vessel anyway?" Stacy asked.

"That's for me to know and for you to never find out!" The man said. He composed himself, "So what do you say? You scratch my back and I scratch yours?"

The scientists, being determined to carry their mission through, agreed with the Demon and made the deal. Ever since then testing has been done on countless numbers of people and some of that testing has brought about different things. People gained different abilities like being able to manipulate the elements or transform into animals along with a lot of other different abilities. The government wanted to keep things under wraps so they created different cults under guise of an actual business for the scientist to conduct their experiments.

That was also around the time that they started to look for the one who would be the Demon's vessel.

Present Day…

I blinked when Trainer Michael finished telling me the story. Then I burst into a fit of laughter.

Trainer Michael tilted his head. "What? I'm telling the truth! Although I don't really believe it myself but yeah. But there have only been three Agents born with Demon Power, everyone else got it by it being transferred to them. I got my Demon Power transferred to me just like your father. And it's not a joke young lady! Stop laughing already!"

I composed myself. "You said there were three Agents born with the power?"

He nodded. "Yup and you're one of them so it's very possible that you might be a vessel for that Demon."

"And what happened to the other two?" I asked.

"They're still alive, they're just getting up there in age so it's not for certain if they'll be a vessel for that Demon or not," Trainer Michael said. "So enough about the legend. Let's get started on your training okay? We don't have all day."

A nurse came into the room with a tray full of needles and each needle had a different substance in it. Trainer Michael said this testing was going to be painful and he wasn't kidding!
