"No, continue cultivating your first circle, I'll return in another week." Lia smiled, excusing herself and closing the door on her way out.
Staying completely silent, Isaac heard her footsteps get quieter and quieter.
After a couple of minutes, Isaac confirmed she left, not only that it didn't seem she was near him at all.
Even though Isaac didn't know how technologically advanced this world was, he doubted it was at the level of making small cameras.
With that being said, Isaac didn't know if they somehow had some way of monitoring him.
Deciding to meditate and absorb more purple motes, Isaac also decided to see his new talent.
However,
'Why isn't there any purple motes in the atmosphere?' Isaac distraughtly discovered.
'I have an incomparable amount of affinity with these motes; shouldn't they naturally be attracted to his physique?'
Humans with greater affinity will obviously attract more motes than others.
If two people with fire affinity both contested a mote of fire mana, the one with more affinity will acquire it.
Regardless, when one has great enough affinity, motes will naturally gravitate towards them.
'Unless I leave this room, I won't be able to cultivate my first mana ring.' Isaac thought, slightly shaken.
Analyzing the situation calmly, Isaac remembered his third physique's blessing.
"Blessing 3. The bearer of this Physique has absolute control of elements interconnected with light."
Isaac finally noticed something odd that he didn't see beforehand.
There were dozens of fire motes in the air!
He could absorb these thanks to his overpowered physique!
However, he decided to ask the system a question.
"System, if I cultivate off fire motes, will there be any difference compared to with purple light motes?"
[Yes, according to the knowledge implanted to the system by {RESTRICTED} It is recommended to first cultivate the base with purple light particles. After that, the owner can use fire particles to cultivate, albeit the speed will be slower than cultivating with purple light.] An ice cold, indifferent voice responded, seemingly sounding more robotic by the second.
Although Isaac was ecstatic that he didn't have to solely rely on one type of energy to cultivate, he felt stuck, was he supposed to just wait for a purple light blob of mana to just appear?
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
Why was none coming to him in the first place?
Shrugging away his thoughts, Isaac knew the benefits of a strong foundation, he also knew that rushing things wouldn't be much better.
Deciding to conversate with the system, trying to figure out more about his potential backer.
"System, with all this knowledge you have, how were you awakened so... easily? I don't believe an 'entity' as grand as you would be awakened by 'low quality purple light particles'."
[It would usually be a struggle, however, with your talent being limited so strongly, the requirements for awakening also dropped, although the system doesn't have a reason as to why. To add, with your talent limiter, it SHOULD have been a struggle to find, and even absorb to many purple light particles. These particles, after all, are the rarest energy to find in the {RESTRICTED}, even a mortal such as you shouldn't have been able to sense an energy, much less influence it.]
The system completely revealed everything it had regarding its owner's question, completely overwhelming him.
Firstly, if his talent wasn't limited and the requirements weren't dropped, how grand and extreme would the requirements be?
Secondly, who was this restricted entity?
Thirdly, he could sense, and absorb something he shouldn't have access to with ease?
Although Isaac started his questioning trying to find, he instead found more answers.
However, he now slightly lowered his guard with his system.
In every other media Isaac consumed, usually this type of information would be hidden from him until he grew stronger, however, apparently with his system, not much was hidden from him.
"System, by your wording, someone must've created you. What is the reason for your creation?"
[The system doesn't know its creator; nor does the system know why it was created.] Again, an indifferent voice answered, seemingly uninterested in the reason for its creation.
Realizing that it was futile to continue this line of thinking, Isaac continued asking about his many doubts.
"System, how should I find more of these light purple motes, without them, I won't be able to progress in my cultivation." Isaac curiously asked, wondering how the system will be able to answer.
[A thousand quantifiable fire energy will form one quantifiable light energy, a hundred of these will form a single quantifiable light purple energy,
The owner might think it's a barbaric way of acquiring light purple energy, and that it might be too simple. However, this is only possible due to the fact the owner has absolute affinity towards this energy.]
Isaac stood, slowly absorbing the system's information.
In the grand scheme of things, it seems mana in this world, can be called energy, which is likely a force that doesn't encompass only this planet. After all, the source of knowledge from this system doesn't seem like a weak entity.
"System, how will I force these energies into the form I want, like light and purple light."
This time however, the system didn't respond like the past few times.
Instead, it acted.
[The Assimilation System offers the owner:
1. Energy Transformation Method (Rank 9+)
Do you wish to assimilate the knowledge of this method within your mind?
{Yes} {No}
(CAUTION: Will cause a slight headache due to a great amount of information.)]
After a couple instances,
{Yes}
Isaac cautiously accepted.
'Ugh...' Isaac let out a small moan, although the pain wasn't bad, the sudden influx startled him.
After it was all finished, a slight expression of enlightenment showed on Isaac's face.
'So, I must gather all the fire energy into a single spot, condensing it into one giant force, then with my absolute authority, 'command' it to transform into light?' Although it sounded vague, Isaac knew that with supernatural forces like energy, there never was one, true answer.
He couldn't do it with one quantifiable energy measurement as, thanks to the information given to the system,
"The Universe simply wouldn't allow it."
Isaac guessed that supernatural forces were at play, like universal laws that kept the universe in balance.
Light wasn't a basic element of the world, unlike fire.
A simple analogy would be,
if you could transform a spark of fire into a flame as large as a continent, it wouldn't exactly be 'balanced' would it?
In Isaac's eyes, the universal laws that kept everything balanced was like game developers keeping their game balanced, with every class having upsides and downsides.
