Awaiting, Isaac continued inspecting the room he was in.
Isaac noticed that besides the dozens of posters that laid hanging, there was people sitting beside a few, seemingly, trying to recruit people.
Seeing that some were successful, Isaac saw them go to the front desk, where a few recipients were awaiting them.
Taking away his attention, however, was the sound of the silver doors bursting open, giving Isaac the view of the inside.
Inside the two silver double doors was a vast room, it held many racks of various weapons to choose from.
Not only that, but it also had a grand arena, where Isaac believed that the test would commence.
However, taking his grand view away from the arena from the very start, was a beautiful, golden-haired woman.
With lustrous blue eyes that seemed to be taken from the sea itself, and red lips akin to blood, she introduced herself.
"Alright, candidates, I'm instructor Tasha and I'll be conducting your adventurer test." Tasha spoke seriously, her demeanor showcasing her strict attitude.
Besides her beautiful features, Isaac looked elsewhere, specifically, a little downwards from her face, where the real treasure laid.
'Even in this world, that can't be small.' Isaac judged, not shaken whatsoever.
Realizing that she was walking towards the arena, Isaac and the others followed.
Standing atop the arena, Tasha spoke again.
"Form a line. The adventurers that pass a specific range of strength or intelligence during our bout will pass this test."
Although the Adventurers Guild mainly wanted strong hunters, those with frightenedly high battle intelligence could be raised to be a monster.
With that being said, many felt as if the test was too difficult.
After all, no one the requisite level of strength to be able to pass.
Moreover, the instructor's level of 'strong' could be skewed, after all, not just anyone can become an instructor.
Looking at the line of people who were already making an excuse and not being confident, Tasha felt disappointed at this batch of recruits.
"I don't have all day."
With that said, the first person came up, albeit nervous.
Afterwards, the beating resumed.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.
During this time, Isaac studied their fighting stances, spell usage, and learned from spearmen.
Although, he still wasn't confident enough to use a spear as learning and applicating to himself was entirely different.
Besides, he already decided to use his fists for this fight, hopefully, with the small training with the aid of his system, he'll pass.
Eventually, it came to be Isaac's turn.
Looking at Isaac, Tasha didn't notice anything special about him, besides the fact that he wasn't using a weapon against her.
Against all the nerves, Isaac smiled, the adrenaline coursing through his body excited him!
Noticing the smile, Tasha demeanor slightly crumbled, 'This guy thinks he can beat me?'
"3...
2...
1...
GO!"
Surprisingly, even in this world, people still used the same countdown.
Conjuring three fire lances, Isaac threw them at Tasha, awaiting the results.
However, he saw her coating her fist in mana, before directly punching his spell.
"Come on, is that all you've got?" With a slightly crazed smile, Tasha taunted.
Dashing at Isaac, she chose to attack before he could conjure another spell.
Expecting this, Isaac waited, before three lances directly impacted Tasha.
Not wanting to take his chances, Isaac used Fire Burst, trying to make space from Tasha.
With the smoke dissipating, Isaac saw Tasha, completely unharmed.
'Damn, is this a level 1 noob trying to hurt a level 1000 hacker or some shit?' Isaac thought, jokingly trying to alleviate his increasing nerves.
Although, it just made him more excited.
Smirking at him, Tasha dashed at him in a zig-zag manner.
Looking at her incoming figure, Isaac conjured three daggers and three lances.
He successfully multi-casted.
After they hit, this time, he didn't run away.
With the smoke clouding her vision, he threw three more daggers, exactly where her eyes were located last time, he saw her.
Not only that, but he also burst stepped directly to her side, hearing the contact, Isaac threw a punch.
However, his punch met a metal wall, an unsurmountable force, stopping him completely from even damaging her.
After the smoke dissipated, he saw that she was holding his fist in a tight grasp, with her face and hair slightly corroded by the ash left by his fire attacks.
Her expression was anything but joyous.
Using the hand that held Isaac's fist, he threw him outside the arena, landing swiftly on butt.
Tired, as his adrenaline completely halted, Isaac headed towards the benches, where the adventurers who lost, went.
Although, even after the entirety of the test, no one came close to beating her.
Fixing her slightly disheveled hair, that happened during Isaac's bout, she told everyone.
"Adventurer Ren Plover. Fail
Adventurer Kevin Boss. Pass
Adventurer A...."
Expectantly awaiting his results, the people who heard their name either left, or went up to get their adventurer card, that showcased their rank.
"Adventurer Vahn. Pass."
Hearing his name and result, Isaac hurriedly went up to get his card.
With their golden and blue eyes meeting, he smilingly took his card.
Leaving, Isaac looked at his adventurer rank.
[Adventurer Vahn.
Rank: Novice]
Although his rank didn't seem that great, once he pressed on it, he was showed the numerous ranks that Adventurers are based on.
[Trainee
Beginner
Novice
Expert
Master
Grandmaster
Saint]
Although he was quite low, Isaac had barely any training and most of all, he didn't have an abundancy of resources.
Buying a drink from the front desk, that was surprisingly not that expensive, he sat and drank while thinking of his next steps.
Firstly, he wanted to get more abilities.
Secondly, become more proficient with the spear.
Thirdly, he wanted to fight more.
Although his third reason was questionable, he had a good answer.
'I like that exhilarating feeling.'
There was no other reason needed.
Feeling a touch on his shoulder, Isaac turned, confused.
Seeing his instructor, Isaac felt anything but safe.
However, her next words confused Isaac even more.
"Become my disciple." Tasha said, with, for the first time, a gorgeous smile on her face.
