Swirling Mana Technique

Swirling Mana Technique

Leaving the room, Isaac realized, 'Wasn't I going to learn magic?'

Asking Lia, the same question, he heard her melodious laughter echo,

What was so funny?

"Hahaha, servant Isaac, you have to realize that formulating magic spells isn't as easy as it looks.

From your perspective, it must've seemed like I just channeled my mana, and poof! However, before that, mages visualize their magic spells within their Mindspace, something that only mages have.

Some mages can take months to visualize complex magic circles within their own Mindspace." Lia calmly explained the situation to Isaac.

Logically thinking, Isaac knew magic spells couldn't be formulated so easily, however, he didn't except such difficulty, before even knowing if he could awaken, Isaac didn't know...

Did he have the talent to become a great mage? Even an augmenter for that matter?

Recalling her words, Isaac found himself slightly shaken. It seemed that, even in both worlds, his name was Isaac. Was his surname the exact same as well?

Did the Soldren family exist here as well?

Are... his parents in this world?

Quickly shaking off his increasingly concerning questions, Isaac knew he wouldn't have an answer to his questions, not yet at least.

"Pick up the pace, you're going to learn the first step of magic spells." Lia informed Isaac.

Seeing Isaac's nod, they hurried towards their destination.

*Screech*

Hearing the screeching of the old door open, Isaac was allowed view of what was hidden inside.

Isaac was overwhelmed by the numerous amounts of books he saw, Isaac had seen libraries through his cellphone, and knowing that this greatly surpassed even libraries shook Isaac.

There were even staircases in some places!

'She has thousands of books, available whenever? Haah, I wish I was as rich as this.' Sighing, Isaac realized the difference between nobility and commoners.

Seeing Lia walk up the nearest staircase, Isaac quickly followed.

Reaching the last step, Lia looked around, as if to find something.

Soon, her eyes stopped on a specific book, fancily titled,

"Swirling Mana Technique."

Grabbing and then handing the book to Isaac, which he grabbed, she said, "Go back to your room, study this technique, and try to awaken as fast as you can." Lia informed Isaac of what her plans were for him, however there was an issue,

"Err- Where is my room... exactly?"

----

After taking Isaac back to his room, Lia took a circular device from her pockets.

Lightly tapping the red button in the middle, she waited for a few seconds.

Suddenly, a holographic screen appeared in front her.

"So, how'd it go?" A firm voice answered, one which demanded respect.

"It went well, the boy didn't seem suspicious, and I've given him a mana gathering technique." Lia happily responded; happy it went well.

----

Returning back to his room, Isaac found two things odd.

Where are all the butlers, maids, or even servants in this household?

Why was he completely alone?

Secondly, why was Lia treating him so well?

Wasn't he a mere servant?

Why was he given a chance to grow stronger?

"Haah, regardless, I have to grow stronger, in any world with a power struggle, life will difficult. Especially in one where I'll involved." Issac told himself while looking at the book enwrapped in brown leather.

Opening the book, Isaac read,

"To awaken, a mage must first sense the mana in the atmosphere,

A mage will do this by entering a complete state of focus while meditating,

Once you can even slightly sense mana, the mage should try to influence the mana into their hearts,

More importantly, the mage should never force the mana, only guide it to the mage's desired location,

The heart is where every mage formulates their mana circles, this is as mana naturally, for whatever reason, naturally gravitates towards the heart, allowing the mage to have the most benefit there,

To form the treasured mana circles, the mage will try to completely dominate the mana, trying to shape it to their desired form,

Beware, as consequences will happen if not done when caution."

Isaac's expression changed the more he read, 'Isn't this a little too vague? Well, perhaps this world hasn't developed much.'
