[Divine (Peak-Rank Talent or Affinity)
Chaos (Above the Peak-Rank Talent or Affinity)] The system told its owner of the known ratings.
"On this ranking, where am I placed?" Isaac inquired.
[Chaos.] Indifferently, the system answered.
Isaac narrowed his eyes at the system's answer. It would be a lie if he wasn't happy that he was at the top of the ranking.
However, a servant, in an unknown world, was ranked highest in the multiverse?
Unlikely.
If he asked the system, "Who are my parents?" The system wouldn't know.
To clarify, the system was like a library of knowledge.
It wasn't omniscient.
However, knowing it had so much knowledge, Isaac asked.
"What's the best method to cultivate, and where? The heart, the dantian?" Isaac inquired.
[There is no surefire way to cultivate.
However, two methods outshine the rest.
The Mana Heart & The Mana Mind
While the Mana Heart consists of mana bursting inside the body at the rate of the heartbeat, the Mana Mind is when Mana is stored in the mind itself, holding unimaginable amounts of storage, as the legends say.
Both take incredible amounts of control; a split error can cause death.
For dummies,
Mana Heart; Stronger and denser mana, tougher body, (Powerful Attacks; Slightly more mana per Attack)
Mana Mind; Purer mana, strengthens the mind (More Mana; Attacks use less Mana)]
Absorbing all of the information given to him, Isaac saw a surefire way.
With his purple light, Isaac was essentially already extremely powerful.
However, if he went with Mana Mind, he'll be an all-rounder, the best of both worlds.
However, Isaac didn't believe he was the only one with a special element. Because of that, he knows he'll be overpowered if he goes with Mana Mind; besides, Isaac didn't want to run from fights, nor delay them until his opponent ran out of mana.
Making his choice, Isaac called out,
"System, how do I cultivate The Mana Heart?"
[The Assimilation System offers the owner:
1. The Mana Heart (Rank-14)
Do you wish to assimilate the knowledge of this method within your mind?
{Yes} {No}
(CAUTION: Will cause a slight headache due to a great amount of information.)]
Noticing it's high rank, Isaac realized that his system was truly greater than he thought.
Tapping {Yes}, Isaac knelt, grunting. This time, the pain wasn't a slight headache.
It felt as if his head was splitting apart!
Isaac only grunted due to the fact that it only lasted a couple seconds.
'Was the pain this great due to the fact the technique was Rank-14?' Isaac asked himself, however it didn't matter. Reciting the knowledge, he just learned, Isaac was impressed, who found this out?
(The Mana Heart was essentially a technique where the user navigates their mana toward their hearts. Once in front, the user will tear their heart, opening an entrance for their mana to pour inside.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
The user will then heal their heart with the particle that's entered their heart. Afterwards, commanding the mana inside the heart to completely combine itself with the heart.
After this process, the heart, now assimilated with the user's mana, will be a storage to plunge mana out of, this mana will be, not only stronger, but denser! (Higher in quality).
Not only that, the mana inside the heart will continue replenishing itself, only stopping if the energy inside is completely null.)
Completely absorbing the teachings of the Mana Heart, Isaac didn't wait, and went with it.
There wasn't anything to experiment on, so he just had to wing it.
Taking a deep breath, as to ensure that he was in peak state, Isaac brought his three specks of purple light energy to his heart.
To slightly tear his heart, Isaac used his absolute authority, causing one of the purple specks to turn into a razor-sharp knife, albeit a very small one.
Tearing his heart, only to the point where there was a miniscule hole, Isaac almost lost concentration due to the pain.
Ordering all three of the specks to enter the heart, he quickly assimilated them with his heart.
This was done, mostly thanks to his authority over them. It was so great that if Isaac commanded them to disappear, they would.
With his mana heart slowly regenerating purple light mana for him, Isaac sighed. Finally, one of his problems were solved.
"System, show me my status." Isaac called out.
[Name: Isaac Solden (Earth) Isaac ??? (???)
{Mana Power: 2.487}
{Total Power: 2.487}
{Quantifiable Fire Energy: 351.31
Quantifiable Light Energy: 1.0029
Quantifiable Purple Light Energy: 1.2435}
{Constitution: Purple Light Soldret Physique (Acquired)}]
Seeing the change in his mana power, Isaac finally smiled.
However, he realized he still had tons of fire energy, so, he quickly sucked them into his mana heart.
{Mana Power: 3.2096}
{Total Power: 3.2096}
{Quantifiable Fire Energy: 0
Quantifiable Light Energy: 0
Quantifiable Purple Light Energy: 1.6048}
Sighing, Isaac realized how greedy and expensive purple light truly was.
With an important matter finished, Isaac turned to his next problem.
Escaping this place.
It was finally time.
"System, give me a cloaking technique, using the light element."
[The Assimilation System offers the owner:
1. Light's Reflective Veil(Rank-3)
Do you wish to assimilate the knowledge of this method within your mind?
{Yes} {No}
(NOTICE: The System won't be able to offer anything to the owner for a week if he accepts.)]
Although he didn't like the little notice he was given, Isaac accepted the assimilation.
{Yes}
Not even letting out a grunt, Isaac absorbed the knowledge effortlessly.
With this technique, he could reflect light from the naked eyes of other mages, of course, this didn't work that well.
If the mage enhanced their eyesight, he had no doubt that they'll see him.
If there were any guards outside this building, Isaac doubted that they'll be enhancing their eyesight.
Regardless, if a Rank-4 guard was outside, they might be able to sense him.
Using the technique, Isaac felt his purple light mana enwrapping him, showing that the technique was in effect.
Although he had almost no light purple energy, as a special energy, it's quality surpassed all others.
If this technique ticked 5 fire energy a minute, it'll tick .05 light purple energy a minute.
Isaac felt that he was losing .1 purple energy a minute with this technique.
He knew this, once again, thanks to his authority.
Hurrying, Isaac opened the door, and quietly closed it.
Traversing through the building, Isaac tried to be as quiet as possible.
After three minutes, Isaac finally saw the exit.
The door was tall, not obnoxiously so, but, taller than Isaac.
Opening the door, very, very slowly, Isaac finally saw his surroundings.
His pupils dilated; his lungs delighted with the quality air that nourished them.
The outside, was very, very beautiful, so much so that Isaac believes it was more so than any place on Earth.
However, it was broken by the surrounding grey walls, so high up that Isaac didn't think he could climb it.
Fortunately, he didn't have to. There were two guards, holding a long tunnel securely, albeit they looked tired.
Looking around for a split second, Isaac saw that his building was adjacent to a bigger, more noble building.
Not having the time to marvel over the glorious building, Isaac was met with two guards, both leaning on the wall, with his Mana Heart strengthened body, Isaac found trouble making no noise near them.
Fortunately, they were both tired, so he slipped past, where later, after entering the long tunnel, he finally saw a gate.
Isaac knew that there were guards behind that gate with certainty. It was just common knowledge.
So, he devised a plan, a half-assed one, but with his technique, it could work.
Opening the door, Isaac made noise, alerting the guards, brandishing their weapons, they walked towards the gate, they were augmenters, so their sharpened sword could effortlessly cut Isaac's body.
However, seeing the gate only sway with the wind, and after entering, seeing no one, they stood dumbfounded.
"Did we forget to close the gate last time the young lady passed by?' Baldur, the first guard said.
"No, there's no way, unless the beautiful lady distracted me, and I couldn't close the door correctly..." Owen, the second guard, voiced out his opinion, with a perverted smile, thinking about something that happened earlier.
----
Exactly when he opened the door, Isaac stood rooted, moving only when they moved, to ensure they couldn't hear his steps, once they entered the tunnel, Isaac started walking, as fast and as quietly as he could.
Seeing the far-off city in the distance, Isaac, once he thought he was far enough, made a run for it.
----
"Haah, Haah," Breathing roughly, Isaac finally turned off the Light's Reflective Veil technique.
Collecting his breath, Isaac sat, gazing at the city in the distance.
This city, which was his first true interaction with this world, excited Isaac!
This was truly the point where Isaac can grow freely, without any restraints!
