[1. Book of Magic (Rank-2)
Do you wish to assimilate the knowledge of this method within your mind?
{Yes} {No}]
Smiling, Isaac pressed, {Yes}
Feeling the intense and vast knowledge, Isaac made sure not to make out a noise.
Finishing, Isaac recited the knowledge he learned.
Apparently, there were three steps to learning a magic spell.
Firstly, completely being able to imagine every intricacy in the spell within their mind space.
Secondly, manifesting it onto the material plane.
And thirdly, continue using the spell to increase your overall mastery.
There were three ranks to mastery.
Recitation.
Incantation.
Imaginary.
When first learning the spell, most need a recitation to manifest the spell in the material, however, as they keep learning, they'll reach the incantation rank.
During this rank, all they need is to say the name of spell to completely manifest the spell in the material plane.
Finally, during the Imaginary stage, all one needs to do is to imagine the spell within their mind space and, obviously, with the intent to summon the spell into the material plane.
Wondering how learning will differentiate with his system, Isaac quickly grabbed the "Basic Fire Spells." book. The book was thin, indicating the small number of spells within.
Opening the first page, it once again interrupted.
[1. Basic Fire Spells (Rank-3
Do you wish to assimilate the knowledge of this method within your mind?
{Yes} {No}]
Expecting the interruption, Isaac giddily pressed, {Yes}.
Instantaneously, three spells with the fire element poured rapidly inside his mind.
These three spells,
Fire Lance,
Fire Burst,
And lastly, Fire Daggers.
With both Fire Lance and Fire Daggers being projectiles, Isaac didn't have any close-range attacks, however, Fire Burst made up for it.

While the first two spells fired lances and daggers enwrapped in fire, Fire Burst was something akin to movement technique, either to dodge, run, or dash at an opponent.
However, using this spell at the right time, can catch an enemy off-guard, which is why he thought that this made up for a close-range spell.
Regardless, every person was allowed an hour inside the library, and although his allotted time wasn't up, he was planning to come later.
This one-hour time limit was given every week! He can't waste it on a single trip.
Leaving, Isaac noticed the starry sky was out. Admiring it for a split second, Isaac returned to his inn.
Before drifting to his sleep, Isaac called for a bath to be readied for him.
Unfortunately, it was quite expensive, however, knowing he can steal it all back helped his mental.
Drifting to sleep, Isaac opened his eyes, expecting a new day to arrive.
However, he was greeted with a scene that can only be described as doomsday.
What would've been a lustrous realm of wonder, now laid something more akin to a wasteland.
Trying to stand, Isaac realized he wasn't in control of his own body.
Feeling him stand without his own volition, Isaac now saw a true battle.
One filled with carnage, that is.
He witnessed thousands, all with blurred faces, desperately fighting back against the opposing enemies.
They were losing, however, it could be expected, as their numbers were far less in comparison.
Unfortunately, that wasn't all, a colossus red titan emerged, causing death, carnage, and despair all around.
Isaac's vivid dream ended with one last croaky message.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... if only I was... power...ful eno... ugh."
----
Awakening, Isaac gasped, feeling heat, sweat, and his heart beating, all at the same time, vibrantly.
"Haah, W-what was that?" Isaac, breathing roughly, managed to convey outwardly.
For some reason, he felt deep regret, as if seeing that chaotic war wasn't enough to already set his mental off balance.
Trying to organize his thoughts, Isaac convinced himself that it was only a dream.
Perhaps, someone had done magic on him?
Regardless, Isaac composed himself, calling for yet another bath.
----
Cleaning himself, Isaac remembered about the adventurer test.
Adorning the full-white with golden ridges overcoat that he stole, Isaac first headed to weapon shop, perhaps a blacksmith.
However, with his current fundings, Isaac doubted that he'd go to the latter.
Venturing and asking around, eventually, Isaac found a weapon shop.
Greeting the owner, Isaac walked around, looking at every weapon.
There were numerous, swords, spears, bows, staffs, maces, and battle axes.
Going off his own personal opinion, Isaac decided on a weapon.
A spear.
Looking around, there wasn't one that sparked his interest.
Slightly expecting this, Isaac left the store and took a corner, before disappearing entirely.
Returning back, Isaac saw the grumpy face of the store owner.
Ignoring him, he continued to look, not yet satisfied.
Eventually, Isaac decided that he should just take one and not waste too much time.
Firstly, he needed to get used to the weapon, and secondly, he needed to train with his spells.
Unfortunately, he had no time to waste for a 'perfect weapon'.
Taking a spear, which cloaked itself, Isaac headed towards the Adventurers Guild.
Entering, Isaac once again saw the boisterous atmosphere surrounding it.
Ignoring the loud environment, Isaac headed towards the left, where the training rooms for the Guild was.
Entering the long hallway, Isaac was greeted by one of the many people waiting.
"Would you like for me to show you around?" A melodious, tranquil voice assaulted Isaac's ears.
"Sure." With a calm response, Isaac was lead.
According to his guide, there were four stations.
The first station, termed 'Magus' was for mages trying to practice their spells.
The second station, termed 'Archery' was for archers trying to improve their accuracy and distance accuracy.
The third station, termed 'Battle Mage' was for mages that wielded weapons, while at the same time, having a magical affinity. This station also housed people just wielding weapons, augmenters.
The last station, termed 'Duels' was where a select few people duel if they both agree to the conditions. This station also served as battle experience for the early recruits.
Asking his guide to take him to the third station, she merrily asked him to follow.
