Absorbing the knowledge of the World Map, Isaac now knew the name of this continent. This continent, named, "Deserta".
This continent had many kingdoms, some smaller than others, however, still grand enough to be kingdoms, like both Ares and Freesia.
Isaac speculated that they were both fighting for land, as even for kingdoms, both of them were quite small.
Deciding to fight each other as they were similar in size, the victor's kingdom will prosper indefinitely.
However, these kingdoms had nothing in comparison to the three empires of this continent.
The Zodia Empire.
The Stilux Empire.
And lastly, the Volyra Empire.
While the Zodia and Stilux empires both had mainly a male-dominant bloodline, the Volyra empire had a female-dominant bloodline.
Currently, Isaac was in the Zodia empire, it had both the Freesia and Ares kingdom under their wing.
The current emperor could've easily stopped this conflict, however, the hatred between the two kingdoms wasn't small.
Ultimately deciding that it was best for one to be rid of, he allowed it to happen.
However, Isaac didn't believe that was his only reason. He must have benefitted from this some way or another.
Furthermore, not all kingdoms were allied to an empire, some were separate.
Unfortunately, Isaac wasn't happy about his new findings. This 'World Map' only contained this continent.
However, he also realized that there wasn't ANY information about the other continents of this world.
Slowly, Isaac realized that if there were other continents in this world, his continent didn't have any way of communication nor travel.
Frowning, Isaac wondered if all the denizens of this continent never realized that perhaps, on this giant planet, that other life could reside.
Deciding not to stress over it, Isaac closed his eyes and finally slept.
----
Awaking, Isaac rubbed his eyes that were being irritated by the bright light.
Wanting to shower, Isaac absentmindedly looked towards the restroom.
Undressing and hanging it atop a wardrobe, Isaac entered the shower.

While turning on the shower head, that leaked out cold water, Isaac's brain finally started working.
'Showers? in this time period?' Isaac inquired to himself, wondering how showers existed.
Although he wasn't exactly sure, Isaac knew that during this time, the denizens of this planet shouldn't be so technologically advanced.
Yes, they did have magic, but that doesn't help them in their technological advances, instead, it might even set them backwards.
Again, Isaac was reminded that his world wasn't normal.
This world had obviously been tinkered with.
Obviously, by another entity from Earth.
----
Letting the water drape from his body, Isaac slowly grabbed a towel to clean himself.
Finally finished, Isaac dressed, not letting his hair dry before leaving the inn.
Without paying for another stay, that is.
Wondering the streets, Isaac knew exactly where he wanted to go.
A place that many men dreamed of in his old world.
The Adventurers Guild.
There was many Guilds in this continent, however, the Adventurers Guild stood at the top.
In the hierarchy of this world, Empires stood at the peak, however, the Adventurers Guild was just below that, even above kingdoms.
This was because of its extensive reach, having a Guild at almost every city in this continent.
Arriving at the grand building, Isaac opened its creaky door.
Isaac was greeted with a sight he wouldn't forget. Dozens of people were seated, all conversating with each other as boisterous laughter rang out.
Continuing his walk, Isaac was bewildered at the sight of these people. Wasn't this kingdom in war?
Arriving at a semi-long line, Isaac waited for approximately 10 minutes before finally arriving at a front desk.
"Hello sir, what is the reason for your visit today?" The lady at the front desk kindly smiled, awaiting a reply.
"I'm here to sign up to be an adventurer." Isaac replied, his rough voice unbefitting of his smile.
Being used to this reply, the lady merrily took out a card, giving it to Isaac. "This is an adventurer card, inject your mana into the card and say an alias.
That alias will become your adventurer's name, and we guarantee the protection of your privacy!
And don't worry, names can be changed if needed, just ask!"
Looking at the cliche, kind woman at the front desk, Isaac grabbed the adventurer card for her hand, and while injecting mana, he said,
'Vahn'
Handing back the card, the lady registered his name and gave him a date, "Tomorrow, come back to the guild, that's when your test to become an adventurer will happen."
Unlike the previous merry tone, the lady now took a serious tone, indicating the difficulty of his upcoming test.
Leaving, Isaac headed towards another destination he had in mind.
The Magic Library.
This is where most mages without a noble background get most of their spells and knowledge.
Knowing that he currently had no attacking spells, Isaac quickly headed there, also knowing that his test to become a full-fledged adventurer was tomorrow.
Arriving at the library, Isaac entered, greeting the lady at the front desk.
According to the sign he saw as soon as he entered, he couldn't check-out any books, meaning that all books in this library stayed inside.
Putting two and two together, Isaac now knew why there were so many security guards in this place.
In this world, every piece of knowledge regarding spells and knowledge of magic altogether held a great status for commoners.
Knowing this, Isaac decided to take a few with him, although, he wouldn't keep them, he inwardly promised to return them as quickly as possible.
Wandering, Isaac picked out a few books.
Notably titled, "Book of Magic."
"Basic Fire Spells."
and lastly, "Mages' History."
All these books would drastically help him, they'll expand his magic knowledge, give him knowledge of fire spells, and learn about this continent's history.
Sighing, Isaac opened the first book, "Book of Magic."
Preparing to read through the entire book, Isaac opened the first page before his golden finger stopped him.
