After waiting for a couple of minutes, the teacher Isaac was desperately awaiting finally appeared.
Hearing the door open, he only had one thought, 'Finally.'
Seeing a young woman, with brilliant snow-white hair come through the door, he saw many students enamored by her appearance.
Although she was definitely beautiful, with a body that can enlighten the flames of lust within many men, if not all, he still wasn't deeply attracted to her, saying he wasn't, however, was a lie.
Instead, he only really wondered how young she was and how she already had the qualifications to teach S-Class students.
Calmly, the young woman walked up to the podium, introducing herself, "Hello, students, I'm Ms. Grace and I'll be accompanying you for the entirety of your four years here at Cypress."
Professionally, the young woman, which he now knew was named Grace, introduced herself to her students.
It had to be known that the mandatory classes' teachers didn't swap every year.
Unless a major incident, of course.
While the other chosen classes can have different teachers varying on the years.
The only way a student changes teachers is either, one, their underperforming in their class, for example, an A-Class student is failing, no matter the reason, they'll join the B-Class. Of course, this can also be vice-versa.
However, to be promoted classes is extremely difficult as the results needed vary heavily in every class.
Regardless, he waited patiently, somewhat urgent to learn more about mana according to the denizens of this world.
----
Leaving the doors to her classroom, Isaac felt as if his mind had been filled with knowledge, so much so that it started to hurt.
Inside her classroom, he learned about the intricacies of spells, specifically, how they were made, the genius of the end product, and various other magical complexities.
As he was bedridden most of his life, he didn't have the chance to go to a public school, not that for him, it would've helped much regardless.
However, on the internet, he'd always see people complaining about how draining it truly was and now, for the first time, he could say the same.
With no doubts, he agreed with the public opinion.
'Although, what I learn at this school will provide much more benefit.' Isaac thought, trying to cheer himself up.
Looking at Alice, he asked her where what her next class was.
"Hmm... it's the Rune Creation class, and you?" Alice responded after thinking about it for a few seconds.

"Ah, I'm going to the Duel class." Isaac replied, knowing they'd part ways here.
"Hmm, I see. Well, see you during lunch." Alice replied, heading towards her next class.
Following her example, he also headed towards the next class of his.
While most, if not all classes followed along the outskirts of the Academy, the Duel class was handled in the center of it all.
----
Entering the classroom, which really, couldn't be called one as it was something akin to a colosseum.
With stands surrounding various arenas, where he assumed he'd fight against other students, the entire place was extremely beautiful.
With luxurious silver metals holding up the arenas and the stands made out of bronze, it looked truly intimidating.
Seeing a group of other students around the same age as himself, he walked towards them, reaching their small group, he didn't wait much for the teacher to show himself.
With a noticeable aura emitting from the center of the colosseum, a purple-robed individual showed himself.
With strands of black hair that reached just below his shoulders, and a cleanly shaven face, he seemed to be middle-aged.
Although, with mana giving the body continuous nutrients, even above the healthiest food, he could be in his seventies or higher.
With that in mind, his old Magical Proficiency teacher seemed to be, at the very minimum, a hundred years old.
Which, to be the least, was quite frightening.
After all, living that much isn't exactly easy.
Regardless, looking at the teacher overseeing the Duel compartment, the red aura he gave off was anything but simple.
Looking towards the group of students, the imposing man spoke, "There's no need for a long introduction. Refer to me as Mr. Dane, and most importantly, do your best out here."
With his eyes darting towards the various arenas, it was evident what he meant with 'do your best'.
Although many students didn't like his evident strict attitude, they had no complaints.
Almost every student here wasn't as blind enough to know that any mistake during battle was vital.
With this class, however, they could reduce those mistakes, which could unknowingly save them in the future.
So, they had no room for rebuttal.
"Get yourselves a partner. Later, we can find one of similar strengths so as to develop your instincts even higher."
Listening to his words, every student slowly found a partner to train with.
With their professor still standing above, seemingly looking at every battle, battles all around commenced.
Hearing the sounds of battle all around, he looked towards the student in front of him.
Oddly, there was no referee in case of danger, however, he left it up to the man above, guessing he could deal with it regardless.
Focusing his attention at the person in front of him, he noticed a glowing number above their arena.
3.
Then 2.
Ultimately, when it struck zero, a small ringing sound announced the beginning of their battle.
Afterwards, with his spear, he darted towards his opponent, who held a brazen sword in hand.
Clashing with his sword and measuring his strength, he controlled his strength.
After many months, it would be hard not to control your strength.
After all, he had spent many days fighting.
Although, he truly had no reason to participate as his battle experience surpassed surely surpassed those of the sheltered academy students.
Regardless, he lowered his strength and let his experience do the talking.
With both weapons colliding, he jumped back, as his opponent unleashed an earth-elemental spell.
Afterwards, he saw a piercing thorn in his place.
Without a doubt, it would've been difficult if he had blocked.
If he did, then his close opponent could've easily taken advantage.
Regardless, he fought back with a spell of his own.
'Fire Chains'
As chains appeared, his opponent was slightly taken off-guard.
Not only did he expect such a quick response to his attack, but he also had nothing to defended again the chains, besides his sword, of course.
Cutting the chains in half, it seemed as if he thought everything was fine, except...
"Good bout."
A spear interrupted his thoughts.
Retracting his spear, with a smile, he extended his hand, asking for a handshake.
The other student, who had lost, didn't take to heart.
With that, his first bout at the Academy ended.
