Miya chokes with a long gasp, her ignored response making the winged girl tighten her grip.
“You told me that we’d be together forever. That we’d… That we’d get through it all. But no, you left all of us there. A lot of the children looked up to you. I… I looked up to you…”
Miya’s eyelids flutter close as she lets her head lean to the side. Her arms and legs stop flailing as they become still and shake in the long breeze.
“Say my name… Say it… SAY IT!” The winged-girl commands.
She then unlatches Miya by the neck, grabs one of her floating weapon capsules, and throws it toward her. The capsule’s thrusters create a solid red beam as it crashes into Miya’s chest. The ring surrounding its front begins to blink, scorching Miya’s clothes with a black smoke trail as she plunges.
Miya's eyes jolt open from the burning pain of the missile capsule, and attempts to move it away, but it continues to pin itself onto her as she descends through the sky. Miya can feel her heartbeat quicken as water streams down the corners of her eyes from the brisk winds.
The blinking then stops the capsule immediately after discharging an explosion of fire and smoke that ruptures the skies. Nearby windows shatter and shake while the atmosphere is consumed by orange and red flames that light up the midnight sphere.
The vast layer of fog, like a gray cloud in the night sky, lingers for a moment until a small figure falls through the debris. Miya’s entire front was set ablaze, her skin scorched black, and clothing ripped to shreds as some of it flew into the air to cinders.
She continues to plunge in an unconscious state, her pupils move beneath her eyelids before she awakens with widened eyes. Her eyes now give off a crimson glare; She twists around while still gliding mid-air and grabs onto the side of her holster.
The carrying device pings and another pistol materializes in a red hexagrid form, creating a long midnight-blue Glock with a red-holo sight flickering up on its back.
She takes the gun and aims down at the ground only a few meters away. The circling chamber below its lever had bulky yet different-colored bullets in white capsules.
With a whir, the cycling stops, and the chamber inserts a black bullet with a round head and brown-colored body into the spring point. Miya clicks the trigger, and the bullet races across the sky with a brown bolt as it lodges itself into the ground.
The gray granite flooring of the plaza then starts to bulge at the bullet’s entry. The gray mound then pops open, with brown sludge gushing into the sky as the once-solid ground liquefies even further.

Miya’s entire body plunges into the ashen muck, she attempts to crawl upward, but her desperate and sporadic movements only cause her to sink further due to the density of the sludge.
She opens her mouth to breathe but is instead filled with brownish goo as her eyes roll to the back of her head. Her pupils lose their crimson gleam and return back to their brownish tint.
With her rushed movements coming to a halt, she starts to float to the top. Her back then bulges from the beige-colored quicksand as she leans her face to the side and takes a deep breath.
Miya sputters and coughs, covered head to toe in brown much as she drags herself onto the still solid granite of the plaza grounds. With several wheezes and a gag, she disgorges a stomach full of brown glop and rolls over on her back with a long raspy gasp.
Miya’s then eyes widen, noticing an incoming bright blue fire emitting in the sky. She gets onto her knees and starts sliding her fingers across the ground.
The midnight-blue pistol pops up from the fluidic brown surface from whence she came. She crawls over and reaches for it with the tips of her fingers, trying not to fall while leaning over the edge.
A roaring jet-stream thrills in the skies above her. Miya feels her heart drop beneath her chest as she attempts to slowly turn behind her. Without warning, the winged girl plows both her feet into the back of Miya's head, making her face plunge into the muddy quick-sand.
Miya squirms beneath her feet, but all she can do is toss and turn as she feels her lungs and chest start to burn. If not but a grace of luck, she feels her index finger on the nose of the pistol and grabs a hold of it.
The chamber twists once more, this time stopping on a bullet with a blue covering and sharp silver head. She presses the trigger, and the bullet springs forth, causing the sludge to rumble and quake beneath her as the bullet crumbles to pieces and dissolves.
The winged girl notices the mud floating into the air like miniature spikes and zips into the sky. The rest of the granite flooring of the plaza begins to crack and shatter, the spherical lampposts drop from their holdings around the area and smash onto the floor, knocking blue glass along the landscape.
The quaking then ceases, but in a split second, the plaza is consumed by brown and black spikes that shoot up from the ground at different angles, made completely of mud and granite. One of the spikes wedges itself in one of the nearby blue skyscrapers, causing its metal surface to slowly produce small pointed spikes of its own.
The winged-girl watches as the once intricate and colorful-neon city starts to crumble, the spikes puncturing its neighbors like a virus spreading a destructive force of nature, causing windows to shatter and lights to dim around the city.
She then looks down at Miya lying on her back, seemingly unconscious. Her body then lifts into the air and bounces as if she was being carried.
A young woman with long black hair wearing a dark-military outfit appears in a holographic blur, carrying Miya by the torso and locking eyes with the winged girl.
Loliel eyes widen as she stops running and skids along the ground.
“It… It can’t be…”
The winged-girl grits her teeth and flies forward.
“… Hey, you!”
She stops her advance and looks behind her at Yazyona standing on a nearby rooftop.
“No one told you to go ona’ killing spree. Those were good men, our men…! And look at what you’ve done to the place! The boss is gonna be pissed… Like, more pissed than he already is!”
The winged girl looks behind her at Loliel and Miya, now gone from sight.
“You can run, but I’ll find you again, and kill you. I swear it...”
She sighs and flies over to Yazyona with clenched fists.
“… On all the lives of the children who suffered because of you.”
