Steam protruded below the cracks of a blue door behind a white-paper wall divider. The small isometric room the smoke devolved in was dimly lit only by a few violet and baby-blue neon lamps spread across the walls.
In the corner of the room was a small bookcase encased into the wall, with assorted manga titles and historical novels in its cupboards. To its right lay a pinkish-red bed shielded by a thick metal casing. Its covers and pillows were all white. In front of the bed a few feet away was a pair of white dark-blue monitors attached to a gray desk with green-potted plants and papers stacked neatly on either side.
The shower from the bathroom stops with a creak. After a few moments, Loliel enters through the sliding hatch door with a black towel wrapped around her body and one twisted around her hair.
Her bare feet create plicks along the ground as she throws her towel on the wall divider. Her body had good muscle definition along her shoulders and thighs, while her shoulders were square and defined. Her waist was trim, giving good petite form to her medium-sized bust.
Loliel rolls her shoulders, then flexes her black bionic arms giving off a red-neon gleam. Both of her wrists had a few serial numbers followed by an X-O2 signature on the sides of her fingers.
She stops stretching and places her feet in the middle of a white box in front of the bathroom door. The light above the shower room then lowers into the wall and is replaced with a white vent. The duct then discharges a trail of hot air from its sides down onto Loliel, condensing all the remaining water crawling down her stomach and thighs.
The air fades, and Loliel stops before her bed, looking down at one of the square compartments. She taps the panel, and a blue ring starts swiveling around as if waiting for a command.
“Casual.” Loliel intoned while walking over to the computer desk.
“Excellent choice, Loliel.” A male AI voice compliments her option. “Casual clothes… Choice 102…”
A compartment then shoots up from the side of the bed, releasing a pair of neatly folded clothes shrouded by a layer of steam.
Loliel looms over her desk and slides her hand onto a black touchpad, causing the screen to blink on. A white holographic keyboard appears in front of her, she looks down at the pad, and the letters start being inputted as if it knew what she wanted just from eyesight alone.

A set of blue folders with locks on their sides blink onto the screen. She then scrolls over them to reveal their contents. An icon of a blonde girl with her face covered by a red-triangle mask circle around the documents. After a few seconds, their locks disappear, with the girl laughing behind her disguise.
“Thanks Kyamyo.” Loliel whispers with a smile.
The folders translate from their foreign languages in text jitters, forming into titles like ‘AD-01’ and ‘TOV-43.’ She clicks one of the folders with the name ‘MAV-06,’ and a portfolio of pictures spreads across her screen.
She hovers over one of the photos, enlarging a giant red comet with a green dust tail. Its picture was blurry and scribbled over, most likely taken through an advanced telescope. Some of the other images had more in-depth photos of the comet. In contrast, others showed its minerals along with other scribbles.
Loliel waves her hand at the screen, then pinches her fingers together, causing the image to enlarge so she can make out the writing. The words have different foreign languages, but a term underlined beneath the floating comet widened her eyes.
“Bryonis… That’s English writing... Someone named Brycen contributed to this project approximately….”
She scrolls down the image and enlarges the imprinted date, Star Year 2030, 0606-D, Mooner 40.
“Star year…? I could only assume that these are dates and times of years for other cultures, meaning that Star year could possible be….”
A blinking blue light catches the side of her eye. She looks to the side of her desk at Miya’s patroller badge blinking faintly. She picks up the metal article and observes its front and back before setting it back down.
“Maybe mom was right. Is it some sort of transmitting device?”
Her fingernail pokes at the comet swiveling through the ‘P,’ and she feels a jolt run through her body. Her body becomes weightless as if she’s falling through the sky. The soothing clouds hitting her face make her eyes flutter close.
Loliel breaks from her trance and gradually opens her eyes. She feels her heart start to race as she notices her plummeting through a dark space into a blue atmosphere. She tries to let out a scream, but to no avail; Instead, her voice echoes through her subconscious, the discordance makes her mind go blank, and her vision fades once more as she loses consciousness.
Loliel winces and puts a hand up to her head. She opens the slits of her eyes, looking down at the endless pink cloudy atmosphere below her. She then stumbles back in shock until noticing that she’s no longer plummeting and staggers onto her feet.
“… I’m sorry about thaat. If I had known someone with lower receivers were telecoming I would’ve lowered the frequency just a taad.”
A young woman with turquoise skin and black hair stood before her. Her locks were shiny, with streaks of light-blue coloring curling into the cute bow of hair at the back of her head. She wore a multi-threaded denim-colored body suit with a zipper covering the lower half of her face.
Loliel looks around at the pinkish atmospheric space, seeming endless, then back to the woman.
“W-where am I…?”
