Tureb looks up at her with a shake of his head. “What…? What are you talking about? Haa… Just help me—“
—Crack Crack GUSH
“GAAAAGH!” His scream echoes through the room as the corner of his plump torso begins to be swallowed by the growing flesh pool.
“I’m not going to save you.” Miya then presses the gun deeper into his head. “I could leave you here to suffer slowly, or I could kill you right now. But only, if you tell me who did this too me.”
Tureb’s eyes twitch while the rest of his body trembles in pain. “Gaah… I’m just a producer alright! You’re made and distributed off on behalf of, Haa... Stravos to independent contractors! I don’t know what they do to you after you’re fully grown… Haa… Now just kill me—”
—PANG
Miya fires a narrow white light past his face, causing green fluids to gush from his cheek.
“Oops… I missed it.”
She then crawls past him and goes through a small mushy opening leading to the doorway, with it slowly being consumed by veiny white meat.
Tureb looks back as the white mound grows over his entire torso. He exudes a pool of green fluid and then slams his face into spillage in a last attempt to drown himself.
He looks up at the girl sitting in the glass container above him with beady eyes. Her glass capsule breaks as the flesh pushes itself onto her resting place. The small poles then circle around her with red-neon lights on their ends.
“My beautiful wor—“
—CRACK
His neck breaks amongst the growing mound as it pushes his face onto the floor and slowly crawls over his entire body. His eye twitches and pops from his skull, and his entire face explodes into a mound of plump flesh and green ooze beneath the compound.
Miya crawls to the wall in front of the door and gazes as the flesh begins to sludge along the sides of the entryway. She looks to the side, notices Niuq’tar running to the exit, and holds her gun steady in front of her.
—PANG
Her index finger pushes the trigger, and in a sharp white blast, it collides with his leg causing him to collapse onto the floor with a yelp.
Niuq’tar looks back at Miya, walking toward him with grim eyes. He then crawls using his forearms, leaving a trail of blue blood across the gray floor.
“You remind me of some gratark's leg I snapped back at my old terminal.” Miya quips while walking in front of him.
She then squats down, placing her pistol onto his third eyelid. “That was nice of you to conceal the doctor’s dirty work. But that couldn’t have been the only reason.”
Niuq’tar looks back at his leg, a chunk taken from his ankle leading to a pulsing ashen pulp spraying blue ooze onto the ground.
“H-he said something about the Watchers… I-I don’t know what he meant! I just do as I’m told!”
“Watchers…? I haven’t heard of that organization before.” Miya then presses deeper into his eyelid, making him whimper. “Enlighten me.”

“… It’s better if you don’t know, vradema.”
Miya tumbles across the ground and pivots. She then aims her gun in front of her at Yazyona, standing a few feet away.
“You can comply or you can die. I won’t hesitate to turn you to past tense.” Miya warns, her gun flexing its handle’s outer black metal flaps.
Despite her threat, Yazyona lifts her foot off the ground with a yawn. Miya presses the trigger, releasing a white and blue spiraling blast of from her pistol.
The spherical bulb of the front of the blast illuminates Yazyona’s face in a white light. However, she evades the shot in a half-millisecond tilt of her head and moves it back in place.
Miya’s eyes widen, and she fires several more colorless blazes, each seeming to make contact with her face but phase through at the last second.
“I gave you your chance to attack.” Yazyona then sets her raised foot on the ground with a resounding clack.
“Now it’s my turn.”
Miya blinks, but in that fourth-tenths of a second, Yazyona disappears from in front of her.
—YREEM Clack Clack
Her head then whips to the side from an imperceptible yet devastating attack, causing her blood to spray onto the ground. Her entire body feels light as she starts to lose consciousness. She then spins around several times, trying to catch her attacker.
—YREEM Clack
Another wave of air hits her front, but this time from a different angle as it hits her directly in the face and chest. Her swollen violet cheeks cover the corners of her eyes, shrouding her vision as blood drools loosely from her nose. She falls to her knees and clenches her chest as she’s unable to breathe, gasping for the little air her swollen neck can take.
Yazyona then appears in a blur in front of her. Miya attempts to raise her gun, but it drops from her grasp and clatters onto the ground.
Yazyona tugs a handful of Miya’s hair and lifts her to her feet with a smirk. She then dashes to her side in another blur and knees Miya in the abdomen, raising her into the air and causing Miya to gasp as the last of her oxygen escapes her lungs.
Miya’s vision gets hazy, but despite her critical condition Yazyona obscures her vision once more. Another ghostly force collides onto Miya’s back, making her bounce onto the floor and then back into the air, cracks protruding from her broken jaw and several of her ribs.
A blear of lines then grabs Miya by the neck and twists her in the air, so she was upside down. Yazyona appears in front of her in another blear, throwing a flurry of punches into her chest, making bulges appear at Miya’s backside from her immense strength.
Yazyona then jabs her in a quick one-two combination, making Miya’s head whip from side to side before she slides across the floor. Miya scrapes at the ground in a hurtful wheeze, but another whisk of air covers her front.
Yazyona raises her head and flips her onto her back in an astounding crash, making another set of cracks resound from her now shattered spine. Yazyona then starts thrusting her fist back and forth until it disappears into a blur, then moves it in front of Miya’s face, punching her at an incredible pace. Her head bobs back and forth from the vibrating jackhammer she calls a fist, spraying teeth and blood across the room.
Yazyona then stops and looks at her hand, painted with the vital fluids of Miya’s mangled and lopsided face. She then drops her to the floor with an eerie splat, the only recognizable feature of her face being her swollen, bloodied tongue.
Niuq’tar, now on his back, looks down at Miya with bulges forming on his cheeks. He then spews black chunks at his side, wiping his mouth with a gasp.
“Oh please, like this is the first time you’ve seen a mangled corpse.” Yazyona responds while flicking some of the blood off her fists.
“Y-you killed her… You killed a Patroller! Do you know what this means? Why are you so calm?”
Yazyona looks down at Miya; Despite her appalling figure, her torso begins to move up and down from her hurried breaths.
“S-she’s alive? But how?” Niuq’tar continues looking at her in awe.
“She’s Yak’sha. An experimental hybrid of human and Ya’valt in a desperate attempt to save their dying species.” Yazyona explains while picking up Miya’s body from the ground and hanging her over her shoulder. “She was probably made this way by one of her past owners, like the late Tureb proposed.”
Yazyona walks past him but stops, looking back at him halfway through the door. “Shouldn’t you know all of this, though?”
“I-I’d rather not know of any of this….” Niuq’tar murmurs while clenching his wounded leg.
“Smart man! I’ll take her down and you clean yourself up. I’m sure he’ll want a full report after this.”
She then exits the door leaving Niuq’tar looking back at the experimental space at the side of the room full of pulsing white skin.
“What an awful mess this has become….”
