Increment.

Miya glances at her with a hand on her hip. "Is it that much of a shock, really? I thought all outer world occurrences would've been normalized due to your civilizations' communication with the Ya'valt centuries ago?"

"The only time I saw a glimpse of those freaks was when they took me, mum and dad, away that day. Never again." Maxim chides with a scrunched nose.

Miya then points to Adalae. "Then what about her? You should be experienced with other lifeforms as she's—"

She stops mid-explanation, surveying the room still full of gloom. Miya then sighs and enhances the image onto Earth, now with three moonlets in its orbit.

"Would you at least like to know how you got here?"

Ashihei stands from the floor with the help of both Loliel and Vivi. "Y-yes please, if you could..."

Miya taps a small blue holographic folder lingering in the air, named 'Easkvac Prok' and takes out its multiple documents and images. She then enlarges a blue paper with multiple seals and a stamp with the words ‘Data Locked’ imprinted on the cover.

"It's Ya'valtian along with some other language... Om'u, if I'm not wrong. How troublesome."

Adalae eyes widen. "I… I heard of them, sort of. My parents use to do business with them before… The attack…”

Miya turns around with a wicked gaze. "Then your parents were in contact with one of the most wanted criminals in this part of the galaxy. Trafficking, Abductions, Illegal Node-Transfers, Planet-Hoarding, Plundering, what haven’t those scum done.”

“My parents weren’t criminals.” Adalae conveys with gritted teeth.

“Mmmhm, whatever.” Miya chuckles and shakes her head. “Ah, it says here that 4056-E belonged to Sector 1, in the Eioneus quadrant… Then why are you guys here now?”

“The hell is an Eionayus quadrant?” Koko attempts to re-pronounce.

“Einoneus,” Miya corrects, “And if we’re here right now… Then…”

She waves her hand across the holographic diagram, making the planets become smaller, and the black space around them become wider until it fills the entirety of the room. Miya walks a few steps over to another part of the galaxy chart and points to a small group of planets orbiting around a large glowing star.

Ashihei enhances the area, gazing down at seven orbs of different densities and pigments. He then starts drawing a set of dotted lines in between the planets alongside a scale labeled km/p.

Miya walks over and grabs the middle of the holograph, and makes another layer on top of it, dragging all of the planets into distinct positions based on his calculations. After a few seconds Ashihei and Miya back away both with thoughtful gazes and tilts of their heads.

Koko switches her eyes between them with a small cough to collect their attention. “Well, what the hell was that all about?”

Miya returns from her initial thought and puts her hands on her hips. “It seems, you were right. Based on your point projectory, orbital speeds, and diameter of placement… If you’re sure that 4056-E was indeed in Sector 1, it’s certain to say that you’ve transported about, uhm…”

Ashihei walks over to the back of the bar and opens a short-glass bottle of auburn whiskey, pouring it into a small glass. “Seventeen centillion light years away from our planet’s point of origin.”

Maxim looks over to Kyamyo. “What’s centillion mean?”

Kyamyo’s screen turns blank and starts with the number ‘17’ before blinking several zeros after it, collectively adding up the entire space. “That’s about three-hundred-and-three zeros after the seventeen.”

“How could that be possible? That… That has to be impossible right?” Koko stutters.

Ashihei takes a sip of his bourbon glass. “Possibilities are not of reason anymore, as we’re dealing with absolutes. It’s not that hard to believe anyway, the nights have been significantly colder while the days have been increasingly hotter while it takes about three days to complete a full night cycle. Meaning that, that huge ball in the sky, despite its differentiated bluish tint is obviously not our Sun.”

“Iuskuceti,” Miya corrects whiles swiping through a set of blue and white documented screens.

Koko and Adalae’s bodies jolt as they look over to Ashihei with his glass half crackled within his palm. The alcohol from inside his cup starts to collect into small bronze droplets in the broken grooves.

“I don’t give a dam about what it’s called.” Ashihei seethes with piercing eyes. “I want to know how we got here.”

Miya looks at him for a second before turning back to the document in front of her. “According to a set of unofficial trade agreements and PVS forms, your planet was sold off on the Aquarii Exchange for fifteen-hundred zartii credits. Huh, guess it wasn’t all that much, to begin with.”

“Not really helpful,” Loliel responds, “We know the why, but we’d like to know the how, Miya.”

“Right, um.” Miya strides over to where the Earth’s previous solar system was and enhances its location, allowing a group of small blue glittering rocks that were now in its place.

Miya taps the dust, and a large notification screen pops up with the words ‘Sarin husk’ appearing amongst other data. “It’s sarinchide, a sort of particle emitted after a large burst of chrono-fluids were dissipated and collected together again. It’s mainly used in large vessels after a… Chronoshift…”

“I thought, those were just some elaborate space stories… They actually exist?” Adalae inquires with interest.

Vivi, now beside Ashihei, giving him comforting back rubs, looks up to Miya. “What’s a Chronoshift?”

Miya crosses her arms with a thoughtful gaze at the ceiling. “A ghost’s tale really. Back at the academy, I’ve read about instances like this happening… Planets and long astero-plas belts suddenly disappearing from their quadrants. Sometimes they were found several pluros away, either deserted or cut in half like they were being shared like a cake. Other planets have yet to be found, disappearing to who knows where.”

Loliel looks over to Adalae with her head bent down with a solemn look, twiddling her fingers. She places a hand on Adalae's shoulder and gives her a brief smile.

“Don’t lose hope yet, Adalae. I was just about to get to that.” Loliel then turns her attention back to Miya. “What about that other piece of data I mentioned? Could you find anything on the missing planet Therth?”
